In November of 2018 I contacted Logo Design Cafe about starting an online business. I talked to Ryan the sales representative and told him I was looking for a retail website like Amazon or Ebay affiliates. I wanted something I could be an affiliate marketer for either one. I was told by Ryan I could have a custom website that would include stocks, mortgages, and cryptocurrency if I wanted. At no time did Ryan mentioned my costs soaring beyond the initial package amount of $1250.00.

I have spent an additionl $6000.00 with Logo Design Cafe as of today, always based on the advice of my project manager David Brown. David told me at one point that several of their websites are making $10,000.00 per month. I fell for this lie. To this day I do not have a competed website. And the last time I talked to David he told me he needed more money for his team to continue. David never asks for money he just assumes you will jump when he tells you to give more money.

I went along with this because I truly did believe that I could create an additional income stream in retirement. I have asked for a refund and gotten no response. I asked for their mailing address once and still do not have LDC mailing address, no one gave it to me.

Ryan should have given me an idea how much money a custom website would cost in the beginning. I would have said no. Not interested. They set the hook and now are laughing at my ignorance. And still asking for more money.

My project is on hold as of today, unfinished. I regret that LDC is not in Dallas. I am do disgusted. I would love to meet David Brown and his team in person.

Unfortunately, I am screwed at this point. They win for now.

Please do not work with this company. They will take your money again and again with no results. Even their so called customer service team is a joke. Total scam.

Both Ricky and Stacey are scam artists. Their proceedure is to get money from you, make a lot of promises, make excuses, say you must pay more $ because this and that wasn't included in the original written list (which it was), produce a little while explaining that it will be fine tuned later, later, later....

Please avoid this company - you can make your own website, faster and less expensive and certainly with much less grief by using GoDaddy and other similar sites.

To be brief, I had 2 interactions with Logo Design Cafe and both were awful. The first was on August, 2016 where I hired them to design a website for my Organization. But after 2 days I decided to cancel and requested a refund of my deposit. Their refund policy was 7 days after cancellation, but after 3 weeks of waiting and being ignored, I had to file a complaint and dispute with American Express to get my refund back from Logo Design Cafe.

Fast forward to January 2017. I hired a different website company to build my website named, Best Web Designs. But after submitting my initial payment of $900 through their website portal I learned that Best Web Design was a sister-company of Logo Design Cafe. I became very alarmed, but Best Web Design project manager, Joseph assured me that he would be designing my website and not Logo Design Cafe staff, so I stayed the course. A week later, I discovered that Logo Design Cafe had muscled Best Web Designs out of the picture and had taken control of my project. Everything in my gut told me to cancel the project and run like hell, but Joseph of Best Web Designs assured me that my website project would be taken care of. So, against my better judgment, I stayed the course.

But after seven weeks and 2 missed deadlines to complete my project, I had to cancel the contract and request a full refund from Logo Design Cafe. Again, they refused to honor their 100% refund policy if not satisfied, and I had to file a complaint with Discover Card to get my $2550 deposit from them. It took 60 days to get my refund back from Logo Design Cafe and it derailed my Organization's plans. I highly recommend that you avoid this company at all cost. They are not professional and will not honor their contract agreement. They will quote you a price to get your business, then continue requesting more upfront money from you once they start the project. They are very slow delivering their services and will make many excuses for their errors and delays. Avoid this company like the plague!

I hire Logo Design Cafe designers for my small business website and logo. The design they gave me was not what they offer and the website kept crashing. I requested a refund within their time frame for refund and the manager called Nick Watson told me that all he can do is refund me with other services they offer. After telling him I wanted no other services, he just hung up and every time I call my call is ignore. My $600 is lost, they keeping my money. I took my time to write this review just to save another person fron dealing with this online scam artist. Ps: This company is not in America, all the rep are in India.

Uses a bait and switch, and harasses you to no end. I barely even submitted a form, and they're blowing up my phone - worst of all, when they called, it didn't seem like the guy knew what to say and there was just an awkward silence and then he told me he'd call back later.

Secondly, the site states that a package for the Logos was $60. I had checked out and paid the $60. Then a chat box appears on the site, and one of their reps messages me and tells me that I purchased the wrong package. What is the wrong package? They told me that the one I paid one did not have a high enough resolution or something and that I had to pay $40 more. I looked around the site and did not see the package he was referring to (bait & switch). I agreed anyway, thinking these guys were legit.

After several days of waiting and back & forths with them. We finally agreed on a design. They then tell me that in order for them to give me the rights to the logo I paid for, I had to pay them an additional $250.00 on top. Of course, I refused - but this is ridiculous and honestly everyone should avoid it. What was advertised as $60 turned out to be a $300+ bill to get the rights to a sub-par design of a logo. You are honestly better off with 99designs, have had much better experience there.

I contacted this company for a logo design. I was promised a 48 hour turn around time and a money back guarantee if I was not satisfied with the services. So, ignoring the negative reviews all over the internet I took a chance. They give the money back if you are not satisfied right, WRONG!! After 48 hours I did not have the design. The next day I called to inquire and conveniently my account manager (Nick Watson) was out sick that day. I notified them that the deadline was yesterday. Then I got he has been out the last two days. REALLY!! I ask for and refund and was transferred over to another account manager who gave more false promises. After 15 minutes of speaking he tells me I am processing your claim to refund your money. EYEBROW RAISED!! I asked him my last name (he did not know) then I asked the name of my project (he did not know). How are you processing a refund claim and you have no idea who or what project it is for. I gave all of my information and was told I would have confirmation in 24 hours. 3 days later I call back. Same issue. This time Nick Watson, the assigned project manager, tells me he has to send in a paper request for the refund and it would take 48 hours for confirmation. This was on 1/16/17. 1/25/17 and still no refund. I call back and speak with Nick today. He states he is sorry about the delay, there is nothing he can do, it is not his job to figure this out. Well, sir, what am I supposed to do about my refund. And once again I am told to wait. I tell him I have been waiting. Final response, oh well ma'am.

Please DO NOT use this company. Do not be like me and ignore reports and bad reviews. THE BAD REVIEWS ARE ALL TRUE!!! Logo design cafe is a SCAM!!

It took these lying irresponsible indivuals 7 days to respond to me after I paid them 160.00

I needed an exisitng Logo Revamped or some things added to it, they came back with 4 generic and ugly designs thatg not only were wrong but had nothing to do with the logo I provided them. I wanted to speak to a manager and guy by the name of David answered, he said he was a graphic designer, manager and Executive manager all in one and just so happened to pick up the phone.I then was tranferred to another "manager" named Darryl(funny thing is that they all speak with heavy accents and all have "very american names" I'm sure they are the real names. he then passed me to someone else and priomised to have a design for me within an hour after 7 days of waiting and their turnaround promise is 48 hours. Never got it back in time and till today havent received the refund of my 160.00. please go to a real graphic designer or youll pay the price for trying to go the cheap route. And one more thing, they dont even know where in California they are located, one said Piedmont, other guy said Sunnyvale.. so thats another lie.

My Experience Was Awesome!

My experience with Logo design cafe has been awesome. From the day, I sought help till now, all my dealings with them has been impressive as they exactly did kind of work I had been looking for. Though they were not able to pick up the idea in the first sample they did, later on, they nailed it. Logo is something that ought to be impeccable so I would advise everyone to be careful and only trust the gifted minds. Designing isn’t something that could be done in isolation as continued follow ups are key in coming up with desired design. That is where they impressed me the most. Their customer service executives kept me in the loop regarding every aspect of designing process. In short, you shouldn’t hesitate for a second and opt for logo cafe anytime.

Shady Company

It seems that their policies are shady and you will have to check-in on their progress. They are not pro-active and they are not upfront about refunds when you want it.

I do not recommend it.

What a Scam

Ordered marketing items in May of 16 and as of Oct of 16 have not received one thing. First, it is really hard to speak with these folks as they have very thick accents and no understanding of customer service. I have attempted to work on getting my final package for 5 months with 3 different account managers / apparently they have a lot of turn over. (again another indicator of a shady business.)

I now believe this is a fraud. DO NOT waste your time or money!! They even have changed their name from Logo Bench to Logo Design Cafe. I imagine the Logo Cafe name had a ton of Negative reviews so they thought a refresh was a good idea to keep the scam going.

Called to get a logo, and ended up getting sold on the brand package which ended up being just over $600 CAD. They were slow to get back to me about the Logo so I decided to do the website on my own and asked for a refund. We went back and forth about logos several times and they continuously sent me images that had nothing to do with what I asked for, and sometimes even sent me images with completely different business names all while I'm still in the process of trying to get my refund. Finally I had enough and said I dont want any more logos, just return my funds. Every time I called it sounded liek the same person, but gave a differnt name and said my other contact was in some freak accident. they said they didn't have a manager, and didnt have anyone I could talk to about billing but kept promising my funds were being processed. After 2 months of calling, I tried again and they said looks like the rufund cleared on their end and it must be my bank. I can see now that ever time they emailed me it had minimal information, and always came from a "services" or "info" address. Now when I try to call neither of the phone numbers work. I called the Anti Fraud Center who had me look at the company that charged my card and they're called "Logo Bench Sunnyvale". This guys are so clearly scammers, please everyone stay away from them - you'll never see your money and you'll never get the product you want!

Their website was impressive and I was taken in by what they said that they would do. They were quick to take my money but almost immediately gave me the run around. What they did provide was rife with grammatical errors and spelling errors. It was as if they didnt speak english or have a good command of the english language. Additionally they would send the same logo everytime without it being revised while they say unlimited revisions. After being very patient and constantly trying to communicate with them and geeting no answer often times for days, I decided to ask for a refund. They immediately tried to say they will get the job done but they had repeatedly missed deadlines and still had not provided any product to date. When I asked where they were 'really' located, they kept saying that they were in california but it doesnt seem that way, as everyone there had a heavy accent and the ones I spoe to couldnt tell me the name of another city near the one they were located in.

I then decided to research the testimonials on their page and there wasn't one website they mentioned that they did that was online. Also whne I did find a company , that company said that they had no association with Lodo design Cafe. I would seriously urge you to not do business wit them. they are a total rip off and will not give you what they are advertising.

One more red flag is that in their Terms and Conditions they indicate that if you intend to sue them you will have to do that in a Canadian court. Now, why would a US based company have that clause in their terms and conditions.

I hired Logo Design Cafe to design a logo for my Organization. Prior to completing that task, their project manager, TOM EDEN asked me if I had a website for my Organization. I told him I was preparing to have one designed by another agency.

He convinced me to let his business do my website as well, and quickly asked me for t the entire $2,100 upfront. I told him I did not feel good about paying the whole amount upfront, before any work had been done and asked if he would consider taking 4 installment payments, as the work was completed. I told him I had had problems in the past with paying upfront and had a difficult time getting my refund when the work turned out unsatisfatory.

Tom and his Manager, Jay got me to agree to 50% upfront. I felt uneasy about it, but they assured me if I didn't like the Website after it was done, I could just cancel the project and they would refund my money within 6-7 days no problem. So I allowed them to withdraw $1075 from my credit card.

A day later, I learned that certain key persons were no longer available to be Executives on my Organization's board and I quickly sent an email to Tom Eden of Logo Design Cafe, requesting that he and Jay cancel the Website project until further notice. I requested that they refund my deposit.

Tom Eden, assured me that I would receive my refund in 6-7 business days. After waiting 9 days and getting no refund, I sent Tom another email requesting my refund, and warned him that if I didn't get my refund I would file a complaint with American Express to get my money. Tom Eden wrote back and asked me not to destroy their good business name by filing a complaint with American Express. He asked me to give him another 6-7 more days to returned my deposit.

After another 10 days passed with no refund from Logo Design Cafe, I sent Tom Eden a final email requesting my refund. I also informed him that I would be filing a complaint with American Express to get my refund. Three days later I got an email response from Tom Eden, requesting that I not contact American Express again, stating that it would jeopardize his job at Logo Design Cafe.

I was shocked that Tom Eden appeared to care more about his job with Logo Design Cafe, than returning my refund. Logo Design Cafe has a 6-7 days refund policy and it has been 20 days since I submitted my first request for a refund. It's obvious that Logo Design Cafe doesn't honor their refund policy and will go to great lengths to delay refunding their customers' money.

I'm not suggesting that you not do business with Logo Design Cafe, as I do not wish to hurt anyone's business, but I do recommend that you (not) pay them (ALL or 50% UPFRONT) for large projects. Try to keep the payments in 4 installments as the work is done. Getting my refund from Logo Design Cafe has been like pulling teeth, very painful and exhausting.

I did file a complaint with American Express and they credited the $1075 back to my credit card instantly and said they would go after Logo Design Cafe for the refund. I'm glad I used American Express because they are really good about getting your money back when a Merchant tries to scam or get over on you. Just beware when dealing with Logo Design Cafe!
