My home loan got sold to this company in mid 2016.. Previous servicer was Cenlar. This company started charging me thousands (more than $20k) in my escrow. This is an FHA Loan. I filed a complaint with a federal consumer complaint agency in September 16. They are notifying my home loan as delinquent as well. As a consumer I have no protection. Furthermore, they have never mailed a detaik summary of said charges. This needs to stop as consumers are left stranded when their loans are sold.

In July 2015 I refinanced my house with The Money Source Inc and the mortgage contracts came with payment stubs regarding sending the payments to LoanCare Servcing Center with a PO Box address. So I honored contract and sent my payment using my online chase bill bay feature and then the Money Source called me stated they have not recivided the two payment claiming that they are no longer working with the third party company LoanCare Servcing center after I had already sent two payments. The payment were never applied to my home loan and The money souce kept reassuring me over the phone that the matter would be resolved and I would not need to worry. I have sent several emails and called the money souce several times with no results now the The money souce has informed me that it would be my responsableity Loancare servcing center to return the money to me or forward to the Money Source.

I have proof that Loancare has cashed the two checks amounting to $3,000

and now The money source will not give me credit for those two payments and they are assigning me to collections calling my emplyoer to verify my employment. They are also sending me letters stating they are going to take my home away from me!!!

I have made every other payment ontime and prior to this issue I have a history of never being late on my mortage.

The money source Inc is very unorganzied and unprofessional and contiues to make promises to resolve the matter but never takes any action nor communicates with the status nor provides any updates.

It was never made clear to me that I would be responsable to recover those payments from the third party they hired to process payments.

I was just told today by Olisa the collections supervisor

I would not do business with either of these companies and Gotmortgage.com is the company that got me in this mess in the first place.

This company is a joke. As soon as they purchased our loan we were unable to pay online. Gave us an error message and had to call. Perpetual hold until an automated voice asks you for your number for a call back. They very rarely call back and if they do it asks you to call an 800 number and you go through the same thing!!!! This has been going on for over a month and now my credit got hit and they applied late fees. This is totally a scam. Never had this problem with USAA. These people need to be arrested.

I never thought that a financing company could be so deceitful. When in my third month with my current mortgage provider, my mortgage was sold to Loan Care LLC. I did get behind on my payments, but in attempt to pay them off, I have to get over three hours on the phone or more. I apparently get the same man on the phone. I think he is the same person answering the phone each time. Needless to say, I cannot get into my account on the website to see if anything is wrong, like paying my house insurance on time in which according to my insurance company is not paid by them to pay in accordance to the policy.

Back to the phone call, sometimes I have to try to make the call the next day. Even though I am three months late on my payment, they make it 4 months late and it hasn’t reach the 4th month payment date to prevent foreclosure, they force me to make two payments at the same time. Yet today, I am forced to listen to a foreigner who I cannot understand for a scamming call for gift call wanting my credit card or I would be disconnected. No choice in the matter to make my payment, then I am told that my call needs collections, now another 3 hours or more of symphony music that could be upbeat, but I know Loancare will make me make another 2 payments before my next payment is due. Like, when did the payment dates change from the due date, have to give out my card to a foreigner who is not in the usual of these calls? Does Loan Care LLC. make their own rules from the original contract and if so, why do I not have a copy of the changed dates they are forcing illegally on me?

In november 2015 my wife and i closed on a new home. We received a mortgage through summit funding, which was serviced by loancare. In january it came to our attention that we had not received any form of mail, phone call or email from summit funding or loancare. No statements or anything relating to our mortgage.

We spoke with a lady at summit funding and she told us that our mortgage was 30 days past due and that another payment was due at that time. I explained that we never received any sort of statement, email or phone call telling us that our payment was due. She directed me to loancare, so i called them.

The loancare representative insisted that we had in fact been receiving statements, past due notices, phone calls and emails warning us of the situation He was was quite rude and not interested in hearing that this was indeed not the case). Of course i immediately made the payments but was told that my credit report now reflected a 30-day late payment.

I asked the rep to tell me what phone numbers he had on my file and he read them to me. Neither of the numbers were ours, and one was a toll-free number. The email address was correct, although i had never received anything from them via email. He offered no apology but said he would change the phone numbers.

We went back to our email to see if we somehow missed a notification telling us payments were due. Nothing. In fact, the first contact i had from loancare via email was in february after i decided to register with their website.

Then in mid-february we finally received a piece of mail from loancare containing a statement with a due date of january 19th, with a note attached reading: "please find enclosed your january statement. This statement was scheduled to be mailed in january, but the mailing was unfortunately delayed as a result of a programming error with the print vendor. We sincerely apologize for the delay in mailing this notice...

Obviously the ball was dropped on their end from the start and they are unwilling to acknowledge it. We still have not received a statement for december, which is the payment they reported as 30 days late.

We have been insisting that the blemish to our credit report be removed yet after repeated attempts loancare refuses. We have provided them with the evidence that the error is theirs but they do not seem to care.

I have all of the documentation to back the statements i've made above. Hopefully this process will result in a correction to our credit report.

I submitted a formal complaint through the consumer finiance protection bureau. Loancare responded with many inaccurate statements and refused to make a change to our credit report. The representative states that, "the delayed statement was for your february 2016 mortgage payment."

The delayed statement that i provided clearly says: "statement date: 01/19/2016", and below that, "payment due date: 01/01/2016". This is the first communication that was ever received at my address and it arrived in february. They attached a december billing statement that was never mailed to me.

I never received a phone call. I never received an email. And despite loancare clearly blundering the one statement i did receive, and then blundering the response to my complaint, they will not take ownership of the mistakes.

What i am asking for from loancare is simple. Acknowledge that just maybe your company screwed up, and that you are punishing good people for your mistake. Then fix our credit report.

I will begin addressing this through legal channels if this dispute goes unresolved. My family will be irreparably harmed by this black mark on our credit report. It is well worth my time and money to resolve this through the court system. While doing so my wife and i will make it our life goal to share this story online anywhere summit funding, loancare, or any lender using loancare are mentioned.

I have the documentation that shows that fraudulent phone numbers were used when processing my mortgage. I have the phone records and email records to show that no one from loancare ever attempted to contact us. I have the one statement that was mailed late, and i have the response from loancare trying to say it was for a different month than was shown on the statement. Considering all of this i'm fairly certain that i will get my credit report corrected in the end. The question is, how much pain will loancare put me through before they are forced to correct it?

Mortgage just got transferred to loan care, LLC

This review of loan care llc, makes me wonder why a reputable company like cash call would sell my loan to a company with such poor service reviews. Can anyone else chime in, that has had their cash call, loan sold to loan care, LLC?

This shady telemarketer by the name of Robert Soukkala who works for a company called LoanCare supposedly as one of their many "Senior Vice Presidents" (a title given to him so that he has an inflated sense of selfimportance) has been harassing me non-stop with offers to lend me money which I do not want, nor do I need. I never reached out to his company or this jacka*s for any loan assistance and yet the harassment does not stop. I will be reporting him to the authorities. He is a scammer and a low-life. Steer very clear of this character. You have been warned!

We were with them years ago after being transferred to them from another lender. We could never speak to a person who knew what was going on. We were told to submit documents to proceed with the refinance. Each time we submitted documents we were told two days letter that they were NOT received. (Let me add, when you fax or email anything.

Loancare send a confirmation number.) We played this game of emailing and faxing over a hundred times with one department saying they see the documents and another saying they were never received. (Sometimes this happened on the same day. While they kept telling us to not make a payment while we were in this process.) My husband was off and on deployments while this was going on.

Finally my husband and I deceided to just sell the home to an investor. Two investors reached out to us. Loancare supported us sending them the documents from the investors. One wanted to do a shortsale another wanted to buy the home at price. While we were doing this we were in communication with Loancare still having one department saying everything (documents they needed) were in and the other saying it wasn't. We finally sold the home to the investor and received money from the sale. That was in 2018.

NOW we're trying to buy a home to find out that Loancare reported to the credit report that the house was foreclosed on. We were in the state of Arizona at the time. According to the Servicemembers Civil Relief Act (SCRA) none of this should've taken place. Now when I call them to get this cleared. We get the run arounds and customer services reps and managers who agree that the home was not foreclosed on in their records that they see. It is a complete mess. I just need out credit cleared and NEVER remember this awful company again.

I know right now everything is about Coronavirus-19, but I hope I find a “empathetic ear” as I feel that my story is the same for a lot of American people.

We are fighting against foreclosure because of a minor mistake committed by the Tax Assessor’s Office, which they corrected immediately when discovered.

The company administrating our real estate loan with Movement Mortgage is Loan Care/Lakeview out of Florida. Loan Care/Lakeview is the company that filed the foreclosure.

In June when I checked our checking account, I found I was totally overdrawn. Loan Care has deducted $1540.34 instead of the normal $699.83 in April and May, 2018 which put my account into overdraft. My husband immediately called Loan Care and was advised not to make remittance until the error was corrected. After he called Richland County’s Tax Office the error in the tax assessment did not reflect the Residential and Homestead discounts bringing my tax bill up to $5195.05 from $1717.05. The County immediately refunded the difference to Loan Care. He, my husband, promptly advised Loan Care of the refund and tax adjustment.

Again we were told by Loan Care to hold off on payments until the refund was logged and adjustments made.

Until October, 2018, my husband dealt with all of this, but on October 15, 2018 he had a heart attack and had open-heart surgery followed by a 5-day coma. I didn’t know if he was going to get through this or not! All of a sudden I was alone and helpless with all of this. I went through all the paperwork from Loan Care as I wanted to fix the problem as quick as possible.

In October I received a bill for $9358.84 due on November 1st with a monthly premium of $1540.34 (no adjustments to tax change). I didn’t understand what was going on so I called Loan Care. Actually 4-5 times a day ‘til mid-November, but got a different person every time that told me something different which was no help. They said a lot, but didn’t say anything!

Not knowing what to do, I sent Loan Care a check for $1818. 13 which I calculated I owed. They returned my check without statement or instructions on how to proceed. So I started again my phone campaign of multiple calls daily to try and get some help. On Oct.30,2018 I was told via phone that my case had gone to their attorney, Bell Carrington, for foreclosure so I started to phone the attorney for help.

Besides phone calls I went to Richland County Tax Office twice where I received the most information. They told me they had refunded the overage and showed me proof that Loan Care had received the monies, and that they had remedied the error promptly. They couldn’t understand what’s going on.

After multiple phone calls Bell Carrington told me they couldn’t help me as they were Loan Care’s attorney and that there was nothing they could do for me. All this was done while my husband was still in a coma! I feared that I might loose my husband and my home! I almost had a nervous breakdown so I sought medical help and was prescribed a anti-depressant.

After a long search I found an attorney that was halfway affordable. I was advised to save the normal monthly payments, which I have, and just to wait ‘til Loan Care made the next move. We were finally served with a Foreclosure Suit on August 9, 2019 and have been awaiting procedures since then.

My attorney has advised me that the outcome of the trial could result in me having to pay their attorney, paying ALL erroneous penalties with interest, and court costs. Through no fault of my own, the County admitted their error and corrected it, and because of the unethical business practices of Loan Care/Lakeview I am in the nerve-wracking situation!

But it doesn’t end here. On Halloween, 2019, a water line broke in the upstairs bathroom which damaged the entire upstairs, penetrated the downstairs ceiling and wall, warped the hardwood flooring, and soaked the insulation in the crawlspace. Total estimated costs to restore our home to a safe and former condition might be close to $30,000.

It is the insurance policy to include both parties, Richard Y Lung AND Loan Care/Lakeview, when payment exceeds $6000. Loan Care refuses to counter sign the checks. So we sit here with open walls and ceilings in a airborne and surface mold infested environment since Halloween, 2019!!

My question is how is a company like this permitted to operate as they do without government control or public attention? Though many, many homes are lost through unethical foreclosure because of unaffordable legal representation or people get so frustrated that they give up; why don’t we hear about this? When you google Loancare/Lakeview, you find out that way to many people have to deal with the same or similar problems like us.

I am 58 years old and my husband is 75 years; thank you Loan Care/Lakeview so very, very much for ruining our retirement!!

  • Feb 23, 2020

Loancare (Lakeview) has made errors and denied them. They constantly send letters stating that they didn't receive a months mortgage payment when in fact they did. I send copies of information proving payment and they send another letter stating that they did not get yet another months payment. They threaten foreclosure, demand full pay off of home $160,000.00.

No sooner do I send off proof of payment sent they send me another letter. They refuse to acknowledge cahiers checks sent them. They skirt around my direct questions, and seem so disorganized that I supect them of fraud. I have initiated a fraud investigation against them, filed with the Attorney General of Virginia and the Better Business Bureau of Virginia. They seem like they are trying to take my sons home.

Horrible Horrible Horrible, STAY AWAY

I been getting jerked around for over a month about receiving a check from this company. Made my payments on time each month and I had to put in a claim. Months have gone by with this process and finally need to get things paid to rebuild my home. We temporarily rented a small home cause are house from the damage is unlivable. Now with all our money going for repair costs and unable to pay the rent or buy food. im going to be forced to leave the rented house with my family, this company is also fully aware that my daughter is battling stage 4 cancer. yet is still determined to deliberately postpone payment to us. worst thing is they already have the check from my insurance company that they have deposited in their account.

To anyone who is thinking of doing business with this company. Don't ever submit a claim, you wont see any money for months. go to a good mortgage company, top name. not this never heard of company.

More ridiculous is I was told in order to speak to a supervisor or manager, a request order has to be submitted and they will return your call in 2-4 days.

  • Feb 14, 2019

Terrible

No stars is more like it. Been trying for 4 months to have VA exemption honored for $0 taxes/escrow. They don’t answer emails and phone calls get me nowhere. Ridiculous.

  • Dec 14, 2018

My concern now is that I have hired an attorney, and from what I have read on the internet, I might have been scammed again. Should I contact CA Attorney General's office? Thanks.

My roof has needed repair since April of 2018. My insurance provider sent me a check in April 2018. I co-signed it and then I returned it to my loan company l l c. They were to return the money to me so that I could hire a roofer period since then they have come up with excuse after excuse and demand at the demand for me to meet requirements to get the money to fix my roof. My daughter had to help me to gather materials or paperwork each and every time because I became overwhelmed. I am on oxygen I have COPD I'm raising my grandson alone and the doctor said I cannot afford to have mold growing in my home. When it rains it still Pours Down I have a part of my rooms that I cannot use anymore and yet they still refuse to release the funds. I personally would like to know how many other people have just quit and paid to get the roof fixed themselves or whatever their damages are because of the actions of this company. I assume that they're collecting interest on my money as the rain Pours Down on my house. There's much more to this but I'm going to cut it shorter until I speak to someone thank you.

I have had my VA mortgage on my home for about ten years, for about the past two years My Loan Care LLC. has unfortunataly been the mortgae hander on my home loan. I have had to interact with them before in the past over the phone and I must say that after long wait times I was greated by customer service reps. that didn't even have command of the English language, complete ignorant Bottomfeeders. Last January I was awarded by the State of Pennsylvania total real estate tax exemption for being a 100% total disabled veteran, this means that I no longer have to pay county property tax, school taxes and state property taxes.

Both he state and the VA provided me with the paperwork/documents to submit to My Loan Care that instructs them to no longer collect tax escrow on my mortgae. As of today My Loan Care LLC has still NOT adjusted my mortgae payment or refunded my escrow balance. I have made conatct with them over the phone and the reps simply refuse to explain the delay or even to tell me if they are working on it? I have had to contact a VA official for help, today and today he told me that My Loan Care isn't even responding to his communication efforts. This particular mortgage handler seems to be the scum of the industry and I can see why. Does anybody have any suggestions.

  • Oct 7, 2017

I am a 100% service connected disabled veteran after an injury and spinal surgey I became two months late on my mortgage. Yesterday I attempted to log into my Myloancare online account to set up a future "5 days away" ACH withdrawl payment and my account was locked out. I called My Loancare and waited on hold for about 20 minutes and they said that I was in fact 3 months late on my mortage and my account was suspended and they would not accept any of my payments not even one payment? The customer service reps were rude, they didn't have proper command of the English lanquage. This particular loan servicing company took over my mortgage out of the blue about 6 months ago and from what I have just read about them online isn't very good, they put a capital S in Shady. I have benn paying on my home for about 8 years now with no issues and no I fear that they are deliberatly preventing me paying my mortage because it is a secured VA mortgae so they know that they will be paid in full if they force a foreclosure on me. This process cannot be legal?

I need some help, there has to be a Class Action Lawsiut against these unethical bottomfeeders? Thanks Joseph

Loancare is terrible!!! Anyone voluntarily choosing to use this company, best of luck to you! On Nov 20, 2015 I decided to refinance my home which the mortgage was being serviced by Stonegate Mortgage. Everything was moving smoothly until Dec 2, 2015 when my new finance company was setting up a closing date. They needed a new pay off amount from Stonegate since to much time had passed because of the holiday break. Stonegate informed the new company they were no longer servicing the loan and it had been sold off to Loancare LLC. I contacted Loancare twice and they said they could not help me because the loan was in the process of being setup. I would have to wait up to 5 business days before I could get a payoff or do anything else to my account. Because of this I lost the interest rate I was guaranteed. The new loan company I was attempting to finance with and Stonegate both told me this is not correct or even legal, that I should be able to pay off a loan anytime during business hours. A loan company or bank should know a payoff at any moment and cannot prevent a borrow from paying off their loan.

Loancare LLC told me that they sent me a letter stating the mortgage was moving over to them. The only letter I received was a Fedex letter on Nov 27, 2015 from Stonegate Mortgage, not Loancare, stating the loan was being transferred in the near future and to continue to make my mortgage payment to Stonegate until Loancare LLC contacts me. They have never contacted me! I hope Loancare LLC future is short and the owners and business associates who make these bad choices that affect their customers, but at the same time allow them to make money (interest they earn by holding back on providing pay off information) lose everything they have.
