one year ago my husband took a HUGE pay cut with his current employer. Do to personal reasons and almost being fully vested in the company hes not able to leave and find another job at this time.
We contacted Loan Care and applied for a loan modification. So our loan payments could be lowered and we wont lose our home. Well loan care increased our loan payment, which they said we had to pay for three months before they'll even consider working with us. So we robbed peter to pay paul but made it happen. Then they said that they had to increase our interest rate to do the loan modification so now with the current interest rate they cant lower our payments, suddenly our escrow is short and this last lady i spoke with had the audascity to tell me to just move... to stop waiting and relying on Loancare to help us out.
Our credit that we worked so hard to build has been shot to hell all because of Loancare.
We need help! We need a lawyer or someone to help us out of this mess. We've complied to every request and the last thing we want to happen is to lose our home
This company is a scam! They're not helping their customers they're ripping them off!
Loan Care LLC at Virgina Beach is playing games with people and hopefylly the attorney general will take a look at their practices. My loan was sold to them about 3 or 4 months ago and have had issues since. For the past few years I paid my mortgage between the 10th and 12th of the month and my bank sends out payment 4-5 days prior. The previous company always got my payments but for some reason Loan Care says that payments are not received by them until 17th or 18th of the month. So I called my bank because I do bill pay, and they said that is not true, payments are sent and they are suppose to stamp the checks as they receive them. Called Loan Care and they said that they stamp the checks when they receive it so why am I being charged a late fee every month. They cannot explain that to me, even with the bank giving me information to pass down to them.
They are scammers! They do this so they can charge and get money from good working consumers. These are unethical practices and they should be shut down for this. If they cannot get their crap together, so shut down and not be in business. Let me not speak about customer service, they seem to hire these uneducated, no customer service experience people who talks down to customers and make stupid comments like "pay your mortage". Yes I pay my mortage and never had issues with previous company that I was with for over 5 years and have been doing the same thing. Loan Care does not respond to my emails and are extremely rude on the phone, even when I asked to speak to a supervisor. They either refuse or place me on long holds. I finally had to refinance and beg the bank to give me a servicing company of my choice so I can get away from Loan Care, I did not save much on interest but worth every penny of me paying that closing costs to get away from them. Never thought I'd say that but yes, paying a closing costs just to get away.
So home owners be aware, if your loan gets sold and it is Loan Care LLC, fight to get a different company. They are bad news, I panic every month because of Loan Care. Stay AWAY FROM LOAN CARE LLC, VIRGINIA BEACH!!!
