LiveOps, Inc. Reviews

I don't usually write reviews about companies but I really feel like I need to warn people about this one!! I have worked for LiveOps as a work@home agent since 2013. Pay goes by call volume so the pay was never really very dependable. Sometime is was very good and other times very bad BUT the one thing that was always good about LiveOps was that they seemed honest and you would always be able to count on your pay being there. Unfortunately this is not the case anymore!!

As of 2021 LiveOps claims to have hired an outside company called "Open Force" to handle all payroll issues and it has been a complete nightmare ever since!! As it stands LiveOps currently owes me over $540!! Live Ops (or Open Force) claims that they sent me the money but I have not received it in my Direct Deposit and since this company only hires work@home agents as Independent Contractors I can not go to the Labor Board about this issue. Instead I am forced to take them to small claims court!

Also, I am NOT the only one that has suffered from pay issues from LiveOps/Open Force. The LiveOps external forums are filled with others complaining about similar issues !!! I currently have a complaint filed against them with the Better Business Bureau that should be posted soon so please feel free to look that up. You will also find tons of other complaints filed against LiveOps on there which should tell you something right there!!

If you are looking for a legitimate work@home opportunity I would like to suggest that you go to NexRep or Working Solutions. I have worked for both and have never had any pay issues with them! In any even I suggest that you keep far away from this company unless you don't wish to get paid for work performed!!

I fell for the LiveOps scam. I paid the $65 background check. I upgraded my computer system, subscribed to Verizon Fios for a fast internet connection with a dedicated line. I took the training and jumped through all their hoops. I kept having system issues with them that involved pop-ups and Java incombatabilty issues - only to run into a brick wall with the Java TubeSocket error that prevented me to log into the scheduling to take my 15 nesting calls. When I reached out to the Outboarding Team manager I was told that LiveOps did not support contracted employees computer issues and then closed my account for missing their timetable to complete the nesting. They directed me to pay for a $65 background check that is suspect, and wasted my time, money and energy.

It is an inconscienable contract from the beginning - totally one sided. They do not operate in good faith.

LiveOps was seemingly a legitimate organization.... or, so I thought. I have NEVER been required to pay for a background check for employment. That should have been a red flag for me. However, I am searching for remote or in-home employment. So, I went ahead and fulfilled the requirement of requesting for and paying for my own background and credit check through a company called First Advantage. And, I waited. I did not get a follow up email or a phone call. That would've been way too professional. Instead, I received a letter in the mail stating that, according to information received from First Advantage, I was ineligible for employment. I was shocked, so I called First Advantage, as instructed on the letter, to find out what the problem was. The issue was that they could not verify my Social Security number when cross-referencing with my birthdate. They would not verify that with me on the phone. I had to notify LiveOps and ask them to fix it. So, I was then told via email to look at my application to see if I needed to fix the birthdate. Upon logging in, I noticed that my birth year was inaccurate, which was weird, so I fixed it and requested that live ops call to submit the correction - as requested by first advantage. I could not call LiveOps, I had to send an email to an email address set up specifically for issues with the background check.
