Although you tell Clearlake Collison Center what to repair, they will make unauthorized repairs without notifying the owners. Now they're wanting split the cost of the unauthrized repairs which is unacceptable.
In July 2017, I took my car for collision repairs and specifically told (Ramona) them just to complete the collision repairs. In addition, the employee that went out to car with me to assess the damage and I agreed the passenger’s side with scratch could be buffed out. Therefore, I told him not to repair the passenger side scratch then I reiterated my same request for the passenger side not to be touched. After the flood (08/29/17), I called to check if my car had been flooded and was told my car was ready but didn't know if the car flooded. The receptionist could not provide any additional information which really frustrated me. She stated someone would call me back. As of 09/04/17, no one called me back therefore I call again. I spoke to Mario to explain the situation and was told he took over the files from Neil which he did not have authority about work done. I told him someone needs to take responsibility for what's happened. I told him I should have insisted Ramona give me the passenger side estimate but she assured me it would not be completed.
They're saying my car did not get any water in it but the vehicle was flooded. I do not trust anything they are telling me now. I signed up for being notified weekly on any changes, additional cost and progress on my vehicle but I did not get any calls or email updates. Clear Lake Lexus Collision Center has had my car over a month without any updates or calls for updates, additional repairs or insurance supplements. All of these issues could have been avoided if Clear Lexus Collision had sent updates as promised.
