LEI Home Enhancements Reviews

I am DISGUSTED with the way this company does business. As a company who relies solely on word of mouth advertisement, I would expect much more. I was lied to and manipulated by the sales guy. He lied right to my face after I asked him the same question multiple times, and asked him to promise me it was the truth. It all had to do with running my credit - soft inquiry (mainly for checking debt to income ratio) as I was TOLD, rather than hard inquiry (full hit to my credit) which is what happened - and is what I asked him over and over to promise me. Luckily, I monitor my credit in real-time and was alerted by Experian as the guy was still in my home. I'm sure he was shocked to find someone who can literally catch him in a lie before he even leaves the property. The area Director called me to follow up the next day to attempt to resolve the issue. He basically says there is nothing he can do besides give the sales guy "more training" although the sales guy has been with LEI for THREE years. You cannot tell me this is the first time he has heard this information - that it is a hard hit to your credit. So my credit got screwed by LEI, while this other guy gets to keep doing his job and LYING to customers and potential customers just to get a sale. He wasted an hour of my time in my home. All I got in return was an "I'm sorry" via EMAIL from the Director. I cannot believe these people are still allowed to do business and sales people continue to lie, cheat, and get sales through trickery and schemes. DISGUSTED!

They will take advantage of those desperate for a job and will literally "hire" anyone. The interviewer will tell you the position you're being hired for will be a call center. LEI You'll actually be going door-to-door trying to convince people to set appointments for Window replacement. But you will not learn this until after you start training. The brochures you'll be handing to homeowners is extremely outdated and has many grammatical errors. Very unprofessional, yet they refuse to proofread and update, despite many complaints. You well be attempting to convince these homeowners that they have been selected to be a showcase home and that they'll be receiving the #1 rated vinyl window for over 50% off for allowing them to use their home for advertising purposes. That is not the case. The salesperson will total the cost, double it, then deliver that price to the customer. They will then say that since they'll be a showcase home they'll give it to you for half off. They will not be showcase homes. They say that they were Energy Star's partner of the year for the last three years and again last year. That is also false. It has been a long time since they were partner of the year. **Deceptive hiring techniques.** They will tell you the position your being hired for will be a call center. LIE. You'll actually be trying to convince people to set appointments for Window replacement door-to-door. But you will not learn this until you start training. You will not make anywhere close to what they tell you you'll make. No matter how hard you try. They claim you will only be working part time. No more than 20 hours a week. LIE. They fail to mention the excessive amount of meetings and the seemingly endless data entry. They claim the meeting are optional. However, they don't tell you if you miss these meetings you will be "free-lanced"(their fancy word for fired). After all is said and done, you're looking at about 60-70 hours as week. You will not be compensated for meetings or data entry. I do not recommend LIE Home Enhancements. There will be countless weeks where you will bring home $32/week paychecks. They claim you will only be working part time. No more than 20 hours a week. Yet, they fail to mention the excessive amount of meetings and the seemingly endless data entry that well take up your evenings and your entire Saturday. They claim the meetings are optional. However, they don't tell you if you miss these meetings you will be "free-lanced"(their fancy word for fired-but they can't say they're firing you otherwise they'd have to pay unemployment). After all is said and done, you're looking at about 60-70 hours a week,6-7 days a week. They insist no one works on Sundays. However you will be. Whether it be confirmation calls or data entry, you'll be working. You will not be compensated for meetings or data entry. Tax time? Well they "hire" you in as a 10-99 independent contractor. Any money you did make you pay all the taxes on in one lump sum. The owners promise they equip personally work with you to ensure success. They do not deliver.
