I was first contacted in December by Gabriella at legacy for a job. As I hadn't heard of them before, I checked them out. Clearly a new company. Address appears to be an apartment. Insurance requirements way off the mark (like requiring a five million dollar umbrella policy, etc) And after more checking, I saw that even as a brand new company, bad reviews from vendors not getting paid were piling up. I told he that because of all that, that I would only be able to work for them on a prepaid basis. Her reply was "I zero'd you out since you no longer want to service."

Since then, I've been contacted by Legacy several times. I keep telling them the same thing.

that the only way I would do ANY work for them, would be on a prepaid basis. THEN I would do the work. I’ve told them this exact same thing MANY times as they keep calling. Two times ago she said "what bad reviews?"." I said they're all over the internet". There's companies 50 times bigger that have been in business for decades without one bad review. She said (very rudely) "Well then we'll take you off our list as a vendor because WE DON'T HAVE THAT PROBLEM". I wonder how many times they have to "take me off their list" before they stop calling me. Can anyone say "desperate?"

So “Rob” called me the other day, and I told him the same thing AGAIN. He was at least polite. BUT, all of a sudden i have a bad review on google. It says: "Waste of time. Wants to be paid upfront before starting work and then delays work. Buyer beware" and left me one star.

As for “delays work”, that’s obviously a lie since I never once accepted any work order whatsoever from this company.

This company is lead by a former top dog at Ferrandino and Sons, WELL known in the industry for not paying vendors. And is staffed by people from Front Street, another well known bad apple. All you have to do is google these companies and you will see bad review after bad review, and refusal to pay their vendors.

I see they left a bad review for a plumber in Texas too. Maybe, “Rob”, instead of lashing out at people who have done nothing more than check out your company online (and realized they would be a fool to trust you guys to pay the bill) you should apply for a job at a legitimate maintenance company. There’s MANY good ones out there, and I’ve worked for many of them for 15 years without issue.

So apparently you can get a bad review for simply answering the phone if Legacy calls. I can't imagine the headaches people are going through that actually agreed to work for them. But, there are quite a few bad reviews for Legacy on google if you want to read them.

So, Legacy, you've "zeroed me out", "taken me off your list" several times, and now left me a bad review. When do you think I can look forward to NOT GETTING ANY MORE CALLS FROM YOU?

If you are a vendor, do not work for them. SCAM!

I was contacted by Legacy FMS by phone to repair lighting at one of their customers' locations. I quoted a $1000+ repair. A month later, they approved my work order in writing, and I completed the work at their customer's location. I submitted all the paperwork correctly and waited the 45+ days to receive payment. After 45 days, I contacted them to ask for an update on the payment. They responded with false accusations of bad work, citing second opinions from unqualified, unlicensed managers and only offered to pay a fraction of the agreed amount, which I refused. This is how they do business.

I attempted to take them to small claims court, but they are out of state and do not have any of the required licenses to do business in my city or state.
