Lani Starr, known as Star or Stark etc. in my educated opinion, is being falsely accused, on-line, of being a "cyber-bully." The truth is quite different our indictors point to someone (against whom she has been in a dispute with, and which later turned into a law suit which she eventually won a judgment against him). It was later discovered that anyone who was in her home (or even near by on the street using a laptop) would be able to access her computer -.- as well as retrieve information and then send out emails, postings and other on-line notifications using her IP address, making it look as if it had come from Ms. Starr. That is, to the rest of the world, it would appear that certain on-line posting had originated with Ms. Starr; whereas, in truth, any improper "cyber bullying" and other potentially illegal postings had originated with others.

In the most recent years and months, past bad tenants, who again due to her “naiveness lead her to trust and showed kindness to, and who were later found to have criminal backgrounds. Making for a years of continuous acute injury to her person.
On the inception of this situation, one of these persons even went as far as to send out thousands of emails with pictures from their fraudulent web site that they created, and are hosting in foreign country. Making it seem like they were some kind of a “Cyber Bully Authority”. This is a Hoax! Who are the real criminals here? This so called authority web site only featured Ms Starr for years on it for years, and they only recently added others to the site!
This shows that they did not allow due process, that in fact they did not allow Ms. Starr’s legal rights, also regarded as an international human right under the UN's Universal Declaration of Human Rights, that someone is innocent until proven guilty. Due to the fact that Ms. Starr’s career was annihilated, she no longer had the financial wherewithal to fight these untruthful postings. Here we can see that the justice system in the case like Ms. Starr, who suffered to loss of her career which in turn created a lack of monetary support. This can be now be seen as detrimental to one who is innocent. We can understand that many innocent souls, who are either incarcerated and or put to death are done so simply because they could not properly defend themselves due to lack of financial wherewithal.
In fact, in finding none of the offending on-line postings (that APPEARED to originate from Ms. Starr) actually originated from her or were sent by her.
She takes responsibility for naively allowing a situation through which other people could (and obviously did) knowingly, intentionally, maliciously, and improperly "hack into" her computer system and spread venom about these victims as well as Ms. Starr.
Ms. Starr is very concerned and deeply sorry for all such victims (including herself). She intends to do whatever she can to correct the record. This letter is a continuation of her attempt to correct the record; an attempt that began on August 2, 2012.
After hiring a cyber investigator, it was revealed that a person whom she had obtained a money judgment against, had cleverly "set a back-fire" starting in 2010. That is, he knew that he had cheated Ms. Starr out of thousands of dollars (as well as had greatly injured her reputation in the industry); NOW he intended to "finish the job" - - by "cyber-bullying" her.
What also seemed to emerged from a legal round table, was the fact that another person who had motivate from a deep seeded greed, and who would greatly benefited from Ms. Starr’s character assassination had dirty hands as well. This person took over Ms. Starr’s vocal business in Maui, with the promise to return it, once Ms. Starr returned from care taking her dying father. A father’s dying wish that he have his beloved daughter with him at this most important time of his life.
Here we have a person who in fact promised not only to return her lucrative high profile business, to her, but also promised to pay a small % of the business each month, during the time she was away caring for her dying father. A business that she, Ms. Starr had worked so hard for so many years to build up.
Yet after just two months, this person brutally declared that she was not going nor honor her promise, and proceeded to then sling mud at Ms. Starr’s good reputation, in the community and elsewhere by giving them tainted misinformation, this was as far back as 1998.
Now for those of you reading this, remember Ms. Starr had trusted her, having gone to take care of her dying father. When Ms. Starr consulted her legal advisor at the time, reiterating what this gal was declaring, the legal advisor stated that a verbal agreement was in fact enforceable and ever more so since Ms. Starr had also a witness to attest to this agreement as well. In real terms this person would at this point in time with accumulated interests and damages own over a million dollars to Ms. Starr.
But as life would have it, Ms. Starr was so distraught with her fathers condition, already in a state of mourning, could not engage in such insensitive interactions. It would not be far fetched to assume that this person, who stood to benefit greatly having Ms. Starr out of the way, contributed greatly to the annihilation of her life in order to keep the prestigious career and life of Ms. Starr’s that she has stepped into.
Lets examine the lifestyle of this person when Ms. Starr met her. She was a waitress in a little town restaurant and a housecleaner before meeting Ms. Starr. Therefore this would be a criminal motive, here a waitress stumbled upon a lucrative six figure vocal coach and singing career, now in order to keep it she would do anything to discredit her even if it meant bulling her social life and career to death.
To further establish this person’s ill intensions, just a few years later, when Ms. Starr had already returned to Maui, after the passing of her father, this person was still obsessed with creating incredible hardships for Ms. Starr. One such example was when Ms. Starr produced a gospel workshop with one of Seth Riggs top associates at the time. It was held in a church and underprivileged children and seniors were invited to attend for free! But this person gave misinformation to Mr. Riggs, packaged in a deceptive delivery, telling him it was a Seth Riggs Workshop. Though no where in any of the marketing materials created and released publicly did it state that it was a Seth Riggs workshop. Ms. Starr also went to the extent to collect statements from most of the attendees to establish that no one was under the impression that it was a Seth Riggs workshop. Thou somehow this person, who had met Seth Riggs, through an introduction from Ms Starr, was falsifying information in order to again discredit Ms. Starr in order to keep her life and her career. Therefore with out knowing the full truth, Mr. Seth Riggs filed a law suit against Ms. Starr.
It is good to note here that Ms. Starr holds a level two certification in SSL, a method that Mr Seth Riggs created and popularized. To her credit she had also had produced many workshops personally with Seth Riggs, appeared on Hawaii State Wide Radio, Newspaper and Television with him. She was his expert of choice in these workshops of how to do execute his method correctly. Now back to the suit, Mr. Riggs Attorneys as well as Ms. Starr’s agreed that she could state during the workshop that she had been in fact certified by Seth Riggs in his method.
Needless to say the case was dismissed, and Ms. Starr was found to have done no wrong doing. The case was settled with no fees due to Mr. Riggs from Ms. Starr. Yet those person(s) present this information in a tainted libelous light on the internet! Again who are the real Cyber Bullies and hate criminals in this case?
It appears to all concerned that this person and their "friends" likely had another plan - - to ruin Ms. Starr's reputation, her business AND to have several other people a small mob, fighting-mad at her - - because of postings about them that appeared to originate with Ms. Starr.
What a clever and insidious plan this person had - - undoubtedly to further punish Ms. Starr for asserting her legitimate legal rights to recover monies owed to her.
Ms. Starr understands and has compassion for all those who have been subject to this "cyber-bullying." It is truly unfortunate that people with less than honest and truthful intentions now have relatively new tools to carry out in their attempt to ruin the lives and reputations of others.
To summarize the situation - - Ms. Starr did NOT draft, post, email nor "cyber-bully" anyone; nor did she intend to do so. Rather, she was "set up" to make her "appear" to be such a "cyber-bully." Someone else's "fingerprints" are on the offending messages; not Ms. Starr's.
Someone(s) other than Ms. Starr perpetrated those heinous acts. She played no part whatsoever in creating the content nor performing the acts that are being complained of.
Ms. Starr intends to "get to the bottom" of who is/are behind these acts. She intends to fully cooperate with any and all entities who are objectively searching for "who" and "how" these many offensive posts were put into the cyber-world. She only prayers that those who want to really know the truth of the matter, please help to spread the word of her innocence.

She never leaves and she is on the property constantly, invades your private space including coming into the home without permission.
We went without plumbing for over 30 days which she refused to fix it and we had a to rent a port-a-potty, Everyone she called out to inspect knew her and knew that she didn't pay her bills so they refused to fix the problem. Her catchment system and water filtration system doesn't work and water comes out brown and she left us without electricity for ten days and told us to get a generator on our dime! Black mold grows everywhere and to keep up with it you have to wipe the cabinets and walls daily. Our kids became sick immediately from the amount of mold in the house and never disclosed the issue.

Used these horrid web site site, links and posting in order to continuously slander and defame Ms. Starr reputation, career and life even on Craigslist over and over again. Making for a years of continuous acute injury to her person.
On the inception of this situation, one of these persons even went as far as to send out thousands of emails with pictures from their fraudulent web site that they created, and are hosting in foreign country. Making it seem like they were some kind of a “Cyber Bully Authority”. This is a Hoax! Who are the real criminals here? This so called authority web site only featured Ms Starr for years on it for years, and they only recently added others to the site!
This shows that they did not allow due process, that in fact they did not allow Ms. Starr’s legal rights, also regarded as an international human right under the UN's Universal Declaration of Human Rights, that someone is innocent until proven guilty. Due to the fact that Ms. Starr’s career was annihilated, she no longer had the financial wherewithal to fight these untruthful postings. Here we can see that the justice system in the case like Ms. Starr, who suffered to loss of her career which in turn created a lack of monetary support. This can be now be seen as detrimental to one who is innocent. We can understand that many innocent souls, who are either incarcerated and or put to death are done so simply because they could not properly defend themselves due to lack of financial wherewithal.
In fact, in finding none of the offending on-line postings (that APPEARED to originate from Ms. Starr) actually originated from her or were sent by her.
She takes responsibility for naively allowing a situation through which other people could (and obviously did) knowingly, intentionally, maliciously, and improperly "hack into" her computer system and spread venom about these victims as well as Ms. Starr.
Ms. Starr is very concerned and deeply sorry for all such victims (including herself). She intends to do whatever she can to correct the record. This letter is a continuation of her attempt to correct the record; an attempt that began on August 2, 2012.
After hiring a cyber investigator, it was revealed that a person whom she had obtained a money judgment against, had cleverly "set a back-fire" starting in 2010. That is, he knew that he had cheated Ms. Starr out of thousands of dollars (as well as had greatly injured her reputation in the industry); NOW he intended to "finish the job" - - by "cyber-bullying" her.
What also seemed to emerged from a legal round table, was the fact that another person who had motivate from a deep seeded greed, and who would greatly benefited from Ms. Starr’s character assassination had dirty hands as well. This person took over Ms. Starr’s vocal business in Maui, with the promise to return it, once Ms. Starr returned from care taking her dying father. A father’s dying wish that he have his beloved daughter with him at this most important time of his life.
Here we have a person who in fact promised not only to return her lucrative high profile business, to her, but also promised to pay a small % of the business each month, during the time she was away caring for her dying father. A business that she, Ms. Starr had worked so hard for so many years to build up.
Yet after just two months, this person brutally declared that she was not going nor honor her promise, and proceeded to then sling mud at Ms. Starr’s good reputation, in the community and elsewhere by giving them tainted misinformation, this was as far back as 1998.
Now for those of you reading this, remember Ms. Starr had trusted her, having gone to take care of her dying father. When Ms. Starr consulted her legal advisor at the time, reiterating what this gal was declaring, the legal advisor stated that a verbal agreement was in fact enforceable and ever more so since Ms. Starr had also a witness to attest to this agreement as well. In real terms this person would at this point in time with accumulated interests and damages own over a million dollars to Ms. Starr.
But as life would have it, Ms. Starr was so distraught with her fathers condition, already in a state of mourning, could not engage in such insensitive interactions. It would not be far fetched to assume that this person, who stood to benefit greatly having Ms. Starr out of the way, contributed greatly to the annihilation of her life in order to keep the prestigious career and life of Ms. Starr’s that she has stepped into.
Lets examine the lifestyle of this person when Ms. Starr met her. She was a waitress in a little town restaurant and a housecleaner before meeting Ms. Starr. Therefore this would be a criminal motive, here a waitress stumbled upon a lucrative six figure vocal coach and singing career, now in order to keep it she would do anything to discredit her even if it meant bulling her social life and career to death.
To further establish this person’s ill intensions, just a few years later, when Ms. Starr had already returned to Maui, after the passing of her father, this person was still obsessed with creating incredible hardships for Ms. Starr. One such example was when Ms. Starr produced a gospel workshop with one of Seth Riggs top associates at the time. It was held in a church and underprivileged children and seniors were invited to attend for free! But this person gave misinformation to Mr. Riggs, packaged in a deceptive delivery, telling him it was a Seth Riggs Workshop. Though no where in any of the marketing materials created and released publicly did it state that it was a Seth Riggs workshop. Ms. Starr also went to the extent to collect statements from most of the attendees to establish that no one was under the impression that it was a Seth Riggs workshop. Thou somehow this person, who had met Seth Riggs, through an introduction from Ms Starr, was falsifying information in order to again discredit Ms. Starr in order to keep her life and her career. Therefore with out knowing the full truth, Mr. Seth Riggs filed a law suit against Ms. Starr.
It is good to note here that Ms. Starr holds a level two certification in SSL, a method that Mr Seth Riggs created and popularized. To her credit she had also had produced many workshops personally with Seth Riggs, appeared on Hawaii State Wide Radio, Newspaper and Television with him. She was his expert of choice in these workshops of how to do execute his method correctly. Now back to the suit, Mr. Riggs Attorneys as well as Ms. Starr’s agreed that she could state during the workshop that she had been in fact certified by Seth Riggs in his method.
Needless to say the case was dismissed, and Ms. Starr was found to have done no wrong doing. The case was settled with no fees due to Mr. Riggs from Ms. Starr. Yet those person(s) present this information in a tainted libelous light on the internet! Again who are the real Cyber Bullies and hate criminals in this case?
It appears to all concerned that this person and their "friends" likely had another plan - - to ruin Ms. Starr's reputation, her business AND to have several other people a small mob, fighting-mad at her - - because of postings about them that appeared to originate with Ms. Starr.
What a clever and insidious plan this person had - - undoubtedly to further punish Ms. Starr for asserting her legitimate legal rights to recover monies owed to her.
Ms. Starr understands and has compassion for all those who have been subject to this "cyber-bullying." It is truly unfortunate that people with less than honest and truthful intentions now have relatively new tools to carry out in their attempt to ruin the lives and reputations of others.
To summarize the situation - - Ms. Starr did NOT draft, post, email nor "cyber-bully" anyone; nor did she intend to do so. Rather, she was "set up" to make her "appear" to be such a "cyber-bully." Someone else's "fingerprints" are on the offending messages; not Ms. Starr's.
Someone(s) other than Ms. Starr perpetrated those heinous acts. She played no part whatsoever in creating the content nor performing the acts that are being complained of.
Ms. Starr intends to "get to the bottom" of who is/are behind these acts. She intends to fully cooperate with any and all entities who are objectively searching for "who" and "how" these many offensive posts were put into the cyber-world. She only prayers that those who want to really know the truth of the matter, please help to spread the word of her innocence.
In the meantime, on Ms. Starr's behalf, I expect and demand that all of you Cyber Bullies and Hate Criminals immediately cease and desist from any further false statements, negative postings and actions that are based on the assumption or belief that Ms. Starr has caused the "cyber-bullying" being complained of. On Ms. Starr's behalf, a demand is made to immediately "take down" any and all web content web sites, web posting, email posting, email mailings and any public or private gossip, now including Craigslist Posting that continues to accuse wrongly Ms. Starr of such actions. Any and all emails that you have sent out which accuse Ms. Starr of such wrongdoing need to be immediately rectified by you the “Cyber Bully” person who had sent thousands of these email out not only island wide, but state wide and even to the mainland. These are Hate Criminal acts on the part of these perpetrators. Furthermore, this letter needs to be posted as part of any of your remaining content concerning Ms. Starr.
One final note. This letter It is being sent and posted everywhere possible sent in good faith so that the world can know that Ms. Starr did not have any intentions nor part to harm the recipients in this situation and she did not and never had taken any part to harm those affected.
I appeal to those of you who have the moral and intellectual independence/neutrality to be willing to objectively determine what has truly been going on here.
To those of you who may reject (out of hand) what is set forth in the body of this letter - - let me say the following - - your very "knee jerk" rejection of Ms. Starr's innocence herein will be seen as a sign that you have somehow played a part in being one of the Cyber Bullies and Hate Criminals in "setting up" and/or being "used" to "victimize" and Cyber Bully Ms. Starr as well as the other victims.

I have did a lot of research on this matter, and found out lani stark ( starr) to be innocenet. This malicious attempt to malign her is by someone who stole her money. Its a shame.

Don't get ripped off by Lani Bernard both by her "eco tour biz" that she is pitching as well as renting out her home and not disclosing the issues with the house and the property. She has Wwoofers living through out the property in illegal structures and you have no idea who these people are. The neighbors confirm that she has been scamming for years and fed up!
Lani Bernard (aka Lani Stark, Lani Starr, Lani Star, Hlandini Bernard, Lalita Star) or whatever name she is using for the week is a scam artist who will just take your money! You will never see your security deposit and has done this to many people in the past (since 2008). Do not rent from her or do any kind of business with her. She just needs her mortgage paid and is a broke and desperate! She posts with fake photos and descriptions of properties that she doesn't even own and offers her "other" property as an available alternative. She goes between listing it in Haiku, Huelo and Twin Falls. She claims her husband is dying in Canada somewhere and won't be around so she can be with him. She never leaves and she is on the property constantly, invades your private space including coming into the home without permission.
We went without plumbing for over 30 days which she refused to fix it and we had a to rent a port-a-potty, Everyone she called out to inspect knew her and knew that she didn't pay her bills so they refused to fix the problem. Her catchment system and water filtration system doesn't work and water comes out brown and she left us without electricity for ten days and told us to get a generator on our dime! Black mold grows everywhere and to keep up with it you have to wipe the cabinets and walls daily. Our kids became sick immediately from the amount of mold in the house and never disclosed the issue.
