Got scammed into buying a necklace from Landau Jewelry Las Vegas Nevada (The Flamingo). Told one price charged a higher price. Very high price necklace more than $400 for cheap silver-plated fake diamond necklace. Price was not visible on necklace. Sales person was wearing the necklace and I liked it. She quoted a lower price then when I said I liked it she took it off and quickly rang it up. Asked me to fill out my email info. still no price was showing. When transaction was complete she told me about the warranty, but said NOTHING about the refund policy! Later the same day upon see the price on my bank acct went to ask for a refund and was told I could only do an exchange or get store credit. Talked to Lorraine in corporate who told me I could not get my money back as well. Had I know this from the beginning there would have been no way I would have purchased anything! I am retired and on a fixed income. There is no way I would buy something this costly especially fake jewelry! I could have to Tiffany and get real jewelry for these prices. Should be against the law to sell fake jewelry for these prices! These people are real swindlers! They use high pressure sales tactics to reel you in. Never shop there! Never! Don't Do it!!! Be Warned!!! [email protected]

I purchased a KJL Crown Set/Bag Ring 8ct tw (#1707-0047 72 8) ring from the Landau jewelry Kiosk counter inside Planet Hollywood in Las Vegas for $265.00. I was told by the sales rep this company designed the highest quality of costume jewelry, the designer even made jewelry for Elizabeth Taylor, Kennedy’s and the Royal Family. I was also informed the ring would not fade and the quality was so good it had a lifetime guarantee. There lies the catch “Lifetime guarantee” does not mean “refund” if the jewelry is not of good quality. Within 1-month time, I had to pay for my own shipping to send the ring back to the headquarters of Landau because it not only changed colors but was turning my finger green. And within a month of receiving the replacement ring, it happened again. Since I felt I was misled on the quality of the jewelry, I asked Lorraine from customer service for a refund. Her response was they can offer a replacement of equal value or a credit for future purchases but, their policy is not to give a refund for purchases. Even though the ring proved to be poor quality on two occasions and I was mis-led about the quality of the ring when I purchased it by the sales rep at the Landau Kiosk in Planet Hollywood in Las Vegas. So, here I sit, with a $265.00 gift card as my replacement for the damaged jewelry with the only option is to purchase more of their overpriced-poor quality costume jewelry!
