Domestic Relations in Lancaster, PA is the biggest rip off my husband and I have ever dealt with. They are only first before the Columbia Police Dept in their insanity. My husband's psychotic ex wife and her equally crazy mother know people personally in this office so when my husband was dragged into the DRO, he was screwed before he even walked in the door. The ex makes almost twice as much as my husband, has multiple men paying her bills, has destroyed my husband's credit, refused to allow him visitation of the child several times, and even went as far as threatening him with a PFA if she caught him seeing his daughter yet none of this mattered to that rip off they call domestic relations. It also doesn't matter that we've spent money on the child or that this psycho stalker ex has used the child support to pay fines for driving without a license! My husband was court ordered 589.37 a month which was over half his pay check! When he lost his job, they were nice enough to lower it but then we became homeless and they raised it back to 411.00 a month citing that it costs 822.00 a month to raise a child in PA. What? Even their own calculator states differently but I guess it helps when a person is friends with these idiots. This office has a tool so they know my husband hasn't found a job yet but according to them, he has the potential to make a certain amount of money so they based the payment on that. These idiots informed us that they couldn't care less if my husband has money to live or not. The best part about all of this is that the ex states in the office that she will ruin my husband and punish him. This is coming from a woman who cheated repeatedly during the marriage, left and had a baby with a little boy young enough to be her kid. My husband waited around for her to come home, I still shake my head, for 3 years. When he finally moves on with me, she gets nuts, stalks us, harasses us at every turn, and up until he stopped trying to see his daughter because of the ex, the ex made our lives a living nightmare. Domestics will screw you 5 ways from Sunday. If your ex is threatening you with this office, the best thing you can do is terminate your parental rights. You'll have nothing, literally, after your ex and Domestics is done with you.
