Kelly Nissan, Inc. Reviews

  • Jan 3, 2017

My name is Huali Y, I am a Chinese immigrant. In the past year I have had issues with my 2010 Volkswagen Beetle’s airbags and with a “bait and switch” car dealership called Kelly Nissan.

With the Beetle, I had an accident on December 20 where I had a head on collision at an intersection which was hard enough to total my car and was I injured because the airbags failed to deploy. After that, I decided with my husband to buy a new car. A salesman from Kelly Nissan called relentlessly and eventually got me to come down to look at as car. I chose a Nissan Juke. The sales man initially told me that this car was $26,254.00, where my husband was looking at cars on the internet and while we were there he saw the car for $20,954.00 but the salesman told us it was a different car. The one I saw had all wheel drive but was told that the one my husband saw was front wheel drive and I specifically wanted 4 wheel drive.

As my husband filled out the paperwork, the car turned out to be $27,415.00!!! When my husband noted on the bill of sale that they were writing up that the price was higher than initially quoted, they said they would throw in a $1000.00 discount to bring the price back down. But here is the crazy part. I looked at the advertisement again in the internet and the price was clearly marked as $20,964.00 with no mention of special conditions. I compared the stick number on the key tag to the stock number on the web page and IT WAS THE SAME CAR!!! Stock number 32002! They ripped me off for $7,000!! When my husband called Kelly Nissan, they put him in touch with the general manager, a man named David. He was very rude, he said we signed the deal and it was our car and there was nothing he was going to do then HE HUNG UP ON US!!!

Even though they said I could have teh car with no money down I ended up putting $1000 on my credit card/

From this experience I took two things away. First, never trust Kelly Nissan and second, 2010 Volkswagen Beetles are unsafe cars.

I plan to tell the world about both experiences and hopefully maybe this will safe someone a lot of grief and trouble.
