Posted to Kommando.com I listen to your show on a regular basis as I’m available and have for several years. I have tried several of the products that you have recommended and found them to be satisfactory. Such is not the case with Kaspersky Total Security. I recently did a clean install of my OS to solve a BSOD issue, and after following the recommended procedures from Microsoft and Dell, attempted to reinstall Kaspersky using an existing and paid for key. Program didn’t work, and then the Kaspersky nightmare begins in that the only way to make contact with them is through "chat”. The first contact left me waiting for a chat representative for approximately 45 minutes, and then the representative remoted into my computer and attempted without success to do what I had been unable to do, and after approximately 20 minutes disconnected the "chat”. I then reestablished chat with them and waited another one and one-half hours before being assisted. Long story short, the software did not work and my impression of the company was that they had no interest in "protection”. In 14 subsequent emails, the communication has degraded to the point that I no longer wish to put up with their gratuitous ineptitude and recalcitrant attitude. The take away from this with these folks is that they don’t have any interest in "having my back” and their return/refund procedure is so convoluted that it is a waste of my time to pursue that. It is my opinion that these folks have no interest in doing anything other than making money for software that may or may not work. In reading the return policy that they emailed me, it was obvious to me that I probably wouldn’t live long enough to actually receive remuneration for program that doesn’t work.

I have no problem with this company until recently.I have been a customer since 2013. ON october of last year 2017 my antivirus stopped working. So i contacted them online and also by telephone.

they check the problem then refered me to a so called kaspersky partner known as globe install. i was informed i had a network virus and some issues on my computer and this was beyond kasperskys capibilties to fix the issue.First they tried to get me a years service for 900 hundreds for this to never happen again i said just to turn the antivirus back on i said no put kaspersky back on i was told no they had to do this unless i wanted microsoft to do it for a much higher price. so ok they fixed my computer and got the antivuris going again for 3oo plus dollars us.this cover a 6 month guarantee no problems so approximatley 6 months later i get a call from Globe instal guy in a panic said kaspersky just inform them i had major issues on my computer we not suppose to call but it was like an emercency to get this fixed so i would be cleaned out on my online banking etc.

Then comes liftime guarantee fr monthly cleanup on my computer and securirity checks and other maintance done.of one payment for thousand bucks which stupidly i went along with thinking they were assoicated with kaspersky.anyway some things just did not add up so i phoned kaspersky they said they had no idea what i was talking about. Before i had a chance to say your tech support did this oh no i must have phoned these people you googled something you answered a pop up. I got really angry yes i called thing to give 1500 hundred dollars away for nothing i was quoted athousand but on my credit card it was 1500 in no uncertain terms did i ever phone these people i had no reason to i dont even know well you must have there here arent they. Then maybe a hacker got in saying things that to me was the blame game.

SO i was told to cancel my card because i was screaming im not paying another cent till this is fixed understood so it appears they fixed my computer only for the tech guy to leave anther company named Pc support. so i phoned kaspersky they just said dont phone these people agian or pc support also. The tech guy seems to think when i get my credit card back i owe them money and use this pc support. So i downloaded a malwarebytes and just happened to be a preimum trail immediately ran a scan everything appears ok. now when i open this pc support malwarebyes blocked fradulent website check a login thing for this pc support get ready to turn off computer if something happened and luckily i had this malwarebyes free trail otherwise my computer could really be comprimised again.

Even the so called legit kaspersky when i inform them well what do you expect for 39 dollars a year but we can promise this will never happen again on priemum support. Theres enogh mixture of some fixing or covering thier butts and just trying to force me to spend more money on their primimum plan.these things plant for me to eveentually log in to this pc support show absolutel nothing for warnings from kaspersky antivirus i pay for yet a trail off of malwarebytes are blocking there plants. I already figured they where bogus hence the proff of the malware primumum is blocking this. i didnt just delete this as i needed it for proof as i was fileing a police report because i lost money and alll these hassles. all kaspersky can say is sorry for the inconvience.
