JPMorgan Chase & Co. Reviews

I have had excellent credit my entire life. I am carrying a balance right now. Because I am carrying a balance, Chase decided to reduce my credit on all three cards I use with them to just slightly above my credit used. I was careful only to use a small amount of my credit to keep my credit score higher, utilizing only 30% of my credit on most cards. When they took away my credit and left me with such a low limit amount of available credit, now I am in a place where my cards are at 90% of their credit limit. This took my credit score down to the high 500s. This is my reward for always making my credit card payments on time with Chase for multiple years. I want everyone to know that my new credit union has given me a recent raise in my credit. Chase made me feel like a number, not like my years and excellent track record are worth anything. This is why I should always open accounts with a credit union instead of big banks like Chase. Credit Unions care about people. Chase doesn't care about me or my credit rating. I was going to try to buy a house, but now I have such bad credit from what Chase did, I won't be able to afford the September 2023 interest rates.

After seeing how Chase is wrongfully handling the ATM Tap fraud issues, by denying people's claims whose accounts were stolen from, I decided to do a separate article, on how I dealt with them at very little cost to me, and how you can use your small claims court to do the same for you.

In California, Small claims has it's own laws. The most important is, no one is permitted attorneys, they are stopped at the court doors if they show up. What does this mean for a consumer like you or me? It means you don't have to go up against a retainer lawyer, and your court battle is on equal footing. Most of my won cases in small claims came from crippling the company's ability to scheme using their attorneys. Each state is different, yet many rules are universal.

In CA, small claims uses a sc100 form for filing a small claims case, which can be done online for a minimal fee. Can't afford the fee? Then go to the clerk at your own court and ask for a few waiver form. Also make sure what you are suing for, is under the yearly maximum. Meaning for example, if you lost $20,000, and the maximum per year is $7000, you should consult an attorney and use a civil court, not small claims. If you still want to use small claims, the other $13,000 will be forfeit.

Small claims is a one shot deal in CA. So make sure you have all records, all evidence at hand. You lose a case because you forgot something, in California, there is no appeal.

Fill out your small claims and stick to the facts. Include damages, especially if you had to take a loan out to cover the loss. The CA form says don't include the cost of filing, but you can still list it as some judges do approve that loss, especially if the company your suing has proven to broken any laws. You don't have to be an attorney to win a case, but it does help to stop at your local library and research a few cases to help your cause under federal, state, and county law. Not sure how, ask anyone there, most will be happy to assist you. It's not that hard.

Now with Chase, this is very important. You need to serve them also a subpoena for information. SC-107. Make sure you word it to include the entire day of video & Image footage at that ATM, otherwise Chase will just include the image of you there, and not the one who stepped in after you left. Remember, this is a one shot deal in CA, for the plaintiff that is.

Again, each state has it's own forms, so asking a clerk for the proper ones for your state is very important.

I'm not an attorney, I only have years experience suing the biggest of companies and winning those cases.

To this date, have won 100% civil cases, and lost only two small claims, which was my fault for not being prepared.

Still unsure or need help, ask the court clerk for a help service list, which are people who show up at the court certain days who can assist you.

Small claims is very informal. It's not like a Perry Mason show. It's quite fast if you have all records ready, and state only the facts.

Good luck!

I am currently on hold with chase bank for 24 min The reason I am on hold is because I want to complain about a teller. Imideatly when the woman I spoke to heard this she immediately says to me "that behavior is not tolerated here" yeah sounds like people are it finally trying to be jerks to me so now instead of making one complaint I need to make 2? Ok and I'm closing my account too So as punishment she is intentionally keeping me on hold hoping that I will hang up and forget about it. It isnt working will update soon

On Febuary 8 a request for a lien release or alternatively a paid in full letter was sent to Chase. Along with the request a current copy of the title commitment which refrenced the lien in question, along with a copy of the Deed of Trust (mortgage) and a copy of the assignment whereby Chase had purchased the mortgage in question. The lien was created in 1996.

After jacking around for 2 weeks Chase finally responded. In their response Chase referenced a lien created in 2002. The 2002 lien was not mentioned in the title commitment; as it had already been released. Chase paid no attention to the information that was sent to them on Feburary 8. This was explained to one of their "customer service" reps on February 23. Basically... Chase made an error.

What did Chase do? Did they acknowledge their mistake? NO! Did they offer any kind of expedited service whatsover? NO! Instead, Chase created a new file with a new reference number and started the jacking around period all over again.

Congratulations Chase! You have now joined Guild Mortage on my 86 list. That means that if a prospective buyer approaches me with a "pre-qual" letter from Chase; the response to that prospective buyer will be to either find another lender, or find another house. I will Never, Ever do business with Chase in any form or fashion.

I was texted, "FREE MSG: Chase Fraud-Did you use card ending #### for $273.23 at a general merchandise store on 12/11? If YES reply 1, NO reply 2." I used #### instead of card number they put when they texted me. It is not my card anyway.
