This guy was the first to ever succeed in scamming me over the internet after years of doing work on the internet. At a time when i was cash strapped I found this guy on freelancer, went by the name of Mark Lopones. He has also used other names, such as George Marsking and Wayne Millons. He even offered to provide a freelancer contract.
I worked for a week, around $300 USD of articles, and he vanished. Turns out the guy had used the mark lopones alias to scam many and other aliases. His instagram also has one comment saying they were scammed, and other reports from [email protected] who did not find his real identity have also been linked. I worked for a week day and night, and on payment day he vanishes. He uses writers until payday, then throws them away and begins anew with a new writer, posing as companies such as 'the content cloud' and companies like progressive content.
He will show a contract and even have you both sign it.
I was not to be deterred in finding his real identity. In the contract document he sent me, the metadata contained a full name, Joseph Okinyi Onyango. I was able to work out the email [email protected] was linked to his real email, [email protected] which took a lot of digging to find.
He has a writers blog: josephokinyionyango.blogspot.com. If he removes it, you can find it using the wayback machine. He has a twitter account. The skype account has a date of birth 12/12/ but I am unsure if this is his real DOB.
