Jomashop Reviews

I ordered a Longines Hydroconquest from Jomashop. It did not work when it arrived. I took it to a watch store and they said it was defective. The watch store was closed when the watch arrived due to the COVID-19 epidemic, and opened two weeks later. The watch was not worn before I took it to the store because it was broken and also needed to be sized.

I tried to return it within the 30-day period after receiving it, but Jomashop won't take it back, claims it was scratched, even though it could not have possibly been worn since it was not working and needed to be sized. I've never heard of brand new Swiss watches that arrive broken from reputable, authorized dealers. My concern is Jomashop sold me a counterfeit, broken watch.

I want to share my pitiful experience at Jomashop so you can be better informed next time you purchase something at Jomashop.

I bought a Bell & Ross watch from Jomashop in Aug’19 because Jomashop was the cheapest among other online retailers. The watch arrived within a few days and was in good condition. It had 1 yr warranty. After a few weeks, the watch started to lose time. I sent the watch back to Jomashop in Dec’19 for repair. The repair took 4 (yes, 4) months and I received the watch back in Mar’20. Despite repair, the watch continued to lose time. So, I sent the watch back in Mar’20 and received it back in Apr’20. Again, the watch kept losing time.

Jomashop refused to acknowledge that the watch was defective. Instead, they insulted me and insinuated that I was lying, I was scamster, I was deceptive. After pushback, they asked me to physically take the watch to an authorized dealer for inspection. Leaving me with no options, I took the watch to a Bell and Ross authorized dealer in town and the dealer confirmed the watch was defective and required repair. I provided the details to Jomashop. After 7 requests for response, they have still not taken care of the watch.

I sent a LinkedIn message to their CEO (Osher Karnowsky) but he could care less. I was insulted by their customer service rep (Ryan P) for my requests for help. WOW!

Before you purchase something from Jomashop, just ask yourself if savings a few pennies is worth the misery that you might go through down the road!

I bought a $400 Montblanc pen online from Jomashop on 12/19/18. Within 6 weeks of occasional use (my husband is a professor and he used the pen at his office at home) he felt a crack in the piston housing. I notified Jomashop immediately and was told by a Jomashop rep Rina that Jomashop had no return policy for defective products and I should take responsibility for my husband breaking the pen.

He used it less than 5 or 6 times and never left his desk, not sure how he would break it. Anyway, I posted some negative reviews and then recently heard from another rep from Jomashop who asked for photos of the pen. As my husband placed the pen on a table under a light to take the photo, the entire piston housing broke off.

I sent the photos to Jomashop and yet again, I was told Jomashop does not refund purchases for defective products. How is this possible? Jomashop is no better than some low rent cart on a city street, clearly what they sold me was a fake Montblanc. My husband has 3 other Montblancs that he has had for years and there have been zero issues. I notified Montblanc corporate about the fraud. Stay away, they will rob you blind.

I ordered a necklace and sunglasses from the American website Jomashop (order #M1AA1529), and when the box got delivered to the post office there was only the necklace and some stuff for the sunglasses, however, the sunglasses weren't in the box, and they cost 100$.

So I have contacted with the website ( Jomashop order tracking) and sent some photos of the box but the service and this contacting process are too slow, and they haven't got to any solution despite a long time I contacted Jomashop order tracking on 12/12/2018 just when I received the box.

They asked to give them some time which was for 3-5 weeks but they passed and they still haven't informed me anything about it or even give me back the 100$

I guess there is more to the Big Apple than meets the eye. There is a company in Brooklyn named Jomashop that is suckering not only individuals but also Brads Deals. Brads Deals is advertising a nice looking watch sold by Jomashop for $39.95. Only problem is Jomashop is out of stock. Upon chatting with a rep, they said that they have NONE on order and it "may be several months even if they ever do get some in stock." I call this bait and switch as their inventory that they slam you with is quite a lot more in price. From the preceding reports it appears that their "warranties" are as good as their $39.95 watches- both are non-existent ! Amazed that Brads Deals would fall for this enormous rip-off !!!

Bought a Michele Serine 16 watch from Joma, for my wife (anniverary). Within 40 days the crown/stem fell out and watch stopped. I have had many many watches and never had this problem with a quality watch. This watch was near a $1000. watch and should be quality. Upon contacting Joma, they said it is not thier problem. Told me tough luck and to find a repair shop. I have delt with many other watch dealers ( kind of a watch buff) and have sent watches back with never a problem. They issue an RMA and return authorization for replace/repair. No so with Joma, not sure this is even an authentic Michele, but will check on it, Customer service at JOMA just read me their return policy and bellowed in my ear that they are sorry but no action will be taken. No way to build a customer base. I caution buyers to beware of dealing with JOMA at their own risk, they are NOT a reputable organization.

PURCHASE OF A DEFECTIVE WATCH

On August 27 I bought a Seiko watch, Model SNKN43 from Jomashop. It arrived on September 1 and to my big surprise the goddamned watch came defective. The second hand was not in place and the mechanism didn't work at all. This has been my worst experience in buying watches. I have come to think that this

watch was fake as Seiko has always been a reliable name in watchmaking. I called a customer service rep immediately to tell him about the problem and he

coldly said to send him a picture of the defective item to his email. I did so. Called him again and another person got answered my call. This one said they had

received the picture and that by the end of the day they would be sending me some documents and a return label. I never received anything. At this point I started to suspect that I had been scammed. In reality, this a fraudulent company stealing money from the consumers like me. The next day I returned the watch

via USPS registered and return receipt with a tracking number to make sure the package won't get lost. They did receive it but to my knowledge they haven't had the courtesy or the attention to tell me they had received it. I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and my case is still pending. Since I don't trust this company, I closed the Master Card which I used for this transaction fearing they might use it for their own purpose or something. As of now, I don't know what's gonna happen with my money. My advice to you guys is to stay away from these thieves. Don't waste your money and time buying from these people or you're gonna lose every dollar you invest on any item. Take my word for it, I myself was screwed up by these jerks and my hopes of getting my back back are fading. I don't want you go through the experience I have gone through. The thing to do in the future is to buy from a reputed and recognized company as Macy's or JCPenney, or Amazon or even Ebay. Do not buy from companies you don't know about. This has been a lesson well learned to me but it won't happen again, I swear.

Purchased from them an Omega watch for more then $6K . The watch was advertised as new. After few months it stoped warnking. Received an RMA and have sent it to be fixed. It took few months and many complaints until I have seen the watch back in working condition. Now after 4 months the watch stopped working again and the store is not responding to my requests to fix is again. Be aware when you buy from this store!

Purchased Omega Watch after reading their return Policies they stated on their website, "returns within 30 days will be refunded minus shipping cost" Fair enough, after I recieved Watch, i didn't care for it so i called then and requested RMA, they sent me email with form, on the form it stated an 8% Restocking fee will apply for all watches over $4k. This clearly was misrepresented as their website didn't state this and the 8% restocking fee only applied to specail orders which didin't applyto the watch I purchased. spoke with manager and Levy didin't back down. they're clearly misrepreseting and get you when you make a return!! highly unethical practice. only interseted inmaking a buck unethically! DO NOT BUY FROM THESE JEWS!

I am very disappointed with the lack of service from Jomashop after buying a Heritor HR2401 watch and receiving two watches and being charged twice. The error was caused because I was unsure the first order was completed online (an issue with Jomashops website or my web connection?) but was told by email by a Jomashop employee that no order had been received and I should place the order online again! I did this and received two watches and was charged twice. It was clearly their mistake by telling me my order had not been received but they refuse to take responsibility I expected fixing this problem would be easy and quick- however, all I get is unhelpful, rude junior employees.

It is clear Jomashop does not have a customer service culture- their senior managers are not involved in ensuring good service.

Beware of this business - I certainly would not trust them with an expensive watch purchase
