Purchased a puppy in early April 2018. Puppy sick within hours of being at our home. Vet bill the next day of $300. Diagnoses with severe round worms. Vet stated that probably had since before birth. Vet also stated that first shots, including deworming, were given at the wrong times (too close together) and effectively did nothing.
Contacted the breeder and received an apology. Our vet stated that all puppies (and all dogs) at the location would have worms given the severity of the issue. Breeder did not seemed concerned...simply stated that all puppies had visited a vet and given clean bill of health.
Several more expensive visits needed to the vet to treat the issue....not to mention the suffering of the poor puppy. Beware of this breeder.
