JANET C. ADEYEMO Reviews

  • Jul 19, 2023

I am an elderly army veteran, with 45 years on the workforce. I became medically unable to work recently. Until this I collected nothing in unearned money. This winter I went on food stamps. I got a cold call in june, unsolicited from Janet c. Adeyemo, age 25 of west Roxbury and Randolph. She variously claimed to work for my medical insurer, my hospital, and the state. She refused to give me a last name. I was extremely busy with looking for work and moving. I showed poor judgement and cooperated with her scam call. Duh. She told me about a government grant for $5,000+ in moving expenses to be supplied by my insurer. Sounded extremely sketchy, but turns out the grant does exist. She was vouched for by a social worker who never met her and was also deceived. I went ahead with it. I handed over a lot of personal Information and documents. Things took a bad turn. She threatened me with being shut off by her. unless I criminally altered and falsified a document. I refused. I should have called the cops. The application process went forward. She lied to me constantly about my eligibility for various benefits, as shown by ridiculous inconsistent stories and by her own admission her words were untrue. It went on for three weeks. In the end she botched the whole application, and voided my eligibility for 25% of the grant, which was to pay for moving expenses and household items. I confronted her. And requested her full name, supervisors name, her title, and her legitimate contact information. All I had for her was a burner prepaid anonymous phone, and an anonymous email address at BMC hospital that wasnt in her name. (Turns out she's only a medical assistant there. Not qualified to process this application.) She got very angry, and lied once again saying "we can't" do that. ( who the hell is "we"? She refused to say.) She straight up threatened me with canceling my application unless I ceased complaining. Janet c. Adeyemo followed through on this coercive threat. During this she claimed to have ordered thousands of dollars in unrequested items I cannot use including furniture too wide to fit through the door. I had to stay home for four days to keep the vendor from dumping it on the lawn, and was required by my lease to do so. I missed a medical appointment and ran out of blood pressure medication. In the end, I had to spend many hours on the phone because BMC were only interested in protecting the guilty. It's been days. They still haven't responded at all. One employee says she's calling people about it. They haven't even said whether Janet c. adeyemo works there. I had to dig through Facebook posts. Turns out everything she said and did was illegal under state and federal law. Adeyemo according to her own words and records from BMC purchased thousands of unrequested unauthorized items and then went silent when I spoke up. I've been lied to many times, threatened, retaliated against and effectively robbed of thousands of dollars. The order for merchandise in my name was not authorized. Coming soon: the story of her supervisor, Paulina Lange of BMC, age 32 who knew or should have known about all of this and according to records, retaliated against me by cancelling shipment of my property. In another report.
