I have tried to stop myself from doing this report, but at this point I cannot. I signed up with Mr. Hunt through an instagram referral. I was pleased to speak with Mr. Hunt the first time as I am actively working on rebuilding and establishing my credit.
I paid $750.00 for this service. I started my process and created my first dispute in June 2019. The first interaction went fine. I was ready to make an additional dispute for my credit as I was moving to California in September 2019. I was stalled the first time for 5months to get my 2nd credit repair papers as I was promised unlimited credit repairs for that price.
In November of 2019, my home was broken into in California and my credit papers were stolen. I contacted Mr. Hunt and let him know that I was looking for my credit papers. He told me to give him a call in the beginning of December. It is now March 2020, and I have still been unable to get a hold of him via phone. Being as though I found him on social media, I messaged Mr. Hunt and told him I was unable to get a hold of him and I was looking for my credit papers.
Mr. Hunt wrote me a message and told me " Common sense would tell me to follow the instructions and call between 9-5. Do not come into my inbox in regards to business matters". I was both hurt and confused since I found him on social media. I am still getting the run around on my credit report and at this point believe that I will never get my service that I was told I would get.
I would tell everybody to thoroughly do their research on who they trust with this process. Now I am out of money and still don't see any movement on my credit report. I wish I never signed up with this man. Please do yourself a favor and save your money. You WILL REGRET THIS LATER.
Do NOT use this man for credit repair! He touts a list of rappers, reality stars, and Atlanta B/C listers as his clientele and uses them to bolster his business. However, if you are not a pseudocelebrity nothing will come of his credit services/repair! In December 2016/January 2017 I purchased his service package.
He promised credit repair and building (by adding tradelines) He is going to send you a package that includes a FREE FTC Fraud Affidavit that is pre-filled out! 1) You can go to the ftc.gov website and get this yourself 2) You don't need this if you are NOT the victim of fraud/identity theft...this is how he is tricking you and the credit bureaus to try to remove items from your CR 3) Do NOT pay for tradelines...they will NEVER appear on your CR...if they do, they will be removed within 1-2 weeks. There are VERY reputable Credit Building Services out there. James Hunt is NOT one of them, I promise! Do your do diligence and look beyond the flashing lights! He is, also, very arrogant and rude to deal with! Once he has your money, you will NOT here from him or his team of crminal cronies! If you review, his other complaints he never acknowledges wrong doing or his fraud (ask him about his criminial history/jail time for fraud...better yet Google it...James W. Hunt) but accuses his victims of lying or trying to sabotage him/his business.
