6/7/17 Corrspondence to SE Baptist Hospital, Beaumont, TX. In their defense, they were unaware of this vender and has their IT/legal team investigating. I encouraged them to 'google' this company and the prior class action suits against them. Just looks like they're at it again after a few short years.
" I need your response to this inquiry as soon as possible. My daughter was in the ER last night. She did not have her phone and used the 'Collect Call' option in the main lobby area.
I understand this is probable a 3rd party contract you have with IOSTLCO, but no where on the phone did it stipulate the charges that would occur on a per minute basis. I need to know what the per minute charges are that are allowed in your contract. And you need to be aware that this company has several fraudulent reports on them and to say the least not a reputable company. They knowingly participate in a 'price gouging'.
My husband spoke directly with my daughter two times, the first being at approximately 5:42 a.m. (10 minutes) this date and the second time at approximately 9:23 a.m. (1.30 minutes). There were two attempts made in the interim where a recorded message stated the card information was invalid and the call was disconnected. All calls can be documented.
My credit card company alerted me to potential fraud. IOSTLCO charged $13.00 (+/-) for one connection and $42.01 for the second connection/charge. It appears that they charged the card for the additional two calls that were disconnected.
If you can provide a contact name, email, phone at IOSTLCO, I will contact them directly. The charges to my card are being disputed pending fraud investigation.
I used a pay phone in Utah to call my daughter in California, it was an emergency and I had no cell phone service. Nowhere was there a listing of rate or charges to use their service. I did NOT get to talk to my daughter and therefore I left her s message if no more than 40 seconds. Surprise, surprise when I checked my credit card 2 days later there was s charge of $32.26! Outrageous!! I have contacted the credit card company and am disputing the charge, I will NOT pay this. It needs to be stopped.

this was from a pay phone in a hotel in Hallstead PA for a 3 or 4 min call that was breaking up the whole time and i never finished it .
