I received a very convencing letter in the mail stating I had won $15,000.00 to be "paid by corporate check and delivered by first class mail; this sum shall be disbursed free and clear of all commissions, fees, or encumbrances."

The letter asked for cash, check, or money order (payable to IAPC) of $9 (Discounted Fee) and answer the Qualifying Question (Answered Required). Also my signature was required stating: I Have Read And Understand The Enclosed Official Rules. A Correct Answer To The Qualifying Question Will Advance Me To The Next Round!

There were no Official Rules enclosed to read.

Also, the following was printed in Bold:

Note also that to formalize your eligibility to play for the sum in question ($15,000.00), you are required to correctly answer the Qualifying Question on IAPC1080. Doing so will ensure your advancement to the subsequent round.

Final Instructions For (name):

1)Complete IAPC1080, and sign your name below.

2)Correctly answer the Qualifying Question.

3)Enclose a discounted fee of only $9.

4)Mail without delay.

The letter went on to state: "I strongly advise you to respond to this Official Memorandum immediately..."

I cannot believe that this type of scam is allowed to continue to operate given the number of complaints I saw listed on the internet. Something needs to be done to stop this kind of unscrupulous activity.

This is a piece of s*** scam rip off and please don't send them any money. I repeat: THIS IS A SCAM AND YOU WILL NOT WIN ANY MONEY AND YOU WILL NOT RECIEVE ANYTHING! On top of all that, you will be put on a database of potential victim for others to try and scam you.

They said I have won $15,000 if my name appears on the list - and it does. Says I must submit $9.00 (saving $3.00) fee, as well as answer a qualifying question. As well as saying I must sign that I understand. Says I must do these things to formalize my eligibility.

I was in need of money. Being a mother and father to six boys isn't easy nor cheap. So when i got this letter I thought i had won. I couldn't believe it. I was very happy and emotional. As i kept reading i seen they were asking for money all my hopes dropped and made me feel even worse than before even reading the letter. So sad and devastated. I'm just in so much need I wasn't thinking of the fraud. I was thinking of how finally I was going to get back on my feet with my boys. It's so sad how they are allowed to play with people's emotions.

This report is in an attempt to help defraud the scoundrels who are ripping off people for personal gain. Many people in America need money as well as a miracle not to mention barely making it. So my hope is to help Aid in putting a stop to would I consider a crime against humanity and any and all money's made paid back to the victims who thought they might have a chance at winning and having a better life instead ended up paying out money they didn't have to begin with and are probably still waiting for nothing surely something can be done about these terrible acts being committed

So I got a letter from prize off of the offices, international award payment center. This is the second letter that they sent me, the first time they sent me a letter I wrote them in one back and said not to contact me anymore. Apparently I have Won this money from a treasure. He says that I get temperature sent of what he made. All I have to do is finish nine dollars, they lowered it from $20 down and nine dollars. They do not have a phone number located on what they sent me. This doesn't feel right. I'm getting a bad vibe from this. On the top it says that nobody has won this award but on the bottom there's a prize announcements where it has six names including mine. Four of them says that they were paid in full, one of them shows that it's been declined, and were my name is says will you be next to win. If nobody has won this award then why is it showing price announcements I did not and will not send them any money just saying.

The international award payment Center 1401 Amour rd, North Kansas City, MO 64116 sends out letter saying that you could win money all you have to do is sign your name and send back this form along with nine dollars and it's just a scam. I find it unacceptable that these companies get away with this over and over again the initial report for this company was put in the rip off reports.com in 2012 it's now 2017 and they're still getting away with doing the same thing they've been doing why they haven't been arrested or put in jail is unacceptable and inconceivable. The people that are getting ripped off for people that cannot afford to send money in and the elderly and they do it anyway hoping that they have a chance to win an unspecified amount of money but in the long run they're just taking a vantage of and hoodwinked .

Prize ripoff. Requesting $9 in cash, check or money order for fees. Once sent in, more correspondence will follow to receive payment.

I have been sent three letters saying I have won 2 million dollars. If I would send in 12.99 first time 15.99 second time and third time was 20.99. They wouls send me a check. I did this thinking hey it would be nice to get this money. However they keep sending me letters and Im tires of it.

  • Oct 24, 2016

they are breaking the law .

if your answer 504,000 you correct. but why would you send money if you won money . the thing about that is they not tryin to go to jail. I believe if they don't ask for a large amount they can't be charge for maybe cause LAWS ARE DIFFERENT THERE THAN HERE. BUT I STILL DON'T MONEY TO WASTE THAT'S MEAT AND BREAD YOU KNOW?

I received a letter stating that I have won $15,000.00, and I was thinking that it was a scam. The letter states that I should send in $9.00 to receive the money. I looked it up online and found out that I was right. I have been scammed before and I don't appreciate getting these kinds of letters. I have decided that it's time to take action and see if I can stop this. So now, I'm taking action by filling out this report for some piece of mind.
