Complete scam! Do not give these people your credit card information. Once you do they disclose what is really going on and at that point you know you have been had.

They say they will save you 85% on calls to the jail. They say on the first few pages that it will cost around $45 for unlimited time and calls to speak to the inmate then after you start giving your information the price goes up to $69. Still for unlimited minutes and number of calls that sounds like a pretty good deal. You pay the money and they send you an email with final instructions.

You have to go into the account of the people handling phone calls for that particular jail and set up an account. Then you have to put in this phone number that they assign you. You then have to give the inmate the phone number they assign you. The inmate calls that number and it somehow gets redirected to your actual phone. Oh yes and here is the kicker you have to put money into that account just like you would if you hadn't gone through InmateCall.com.

They also say if you aren't satisfied you can get your money back.

I gave my inmate that number that they assigned me after I put money into the jail account so he could call. I only put enough for one phone call. I gave him the number thinking he would be able to call back as many times as he wanted and we could talk as long as we wanted for that $69 I paid.

Not so. Because I didn't put anymore money on the jail account they wouldn't let the calls go through so I never actually talked to him. He kept calling the number thinking he was going to get to talk to me for as long as he wanted however many times he wanted to call because he believed it just like I did.

Everytime he dialed that number they were charging my account $34.60 under the name of VOIP TELECOM SO 9457 S UNIVERSITY B 720-204-5537.

I never answered the call but that didn't seem to matter. He didn't know what was going on so he kept trying to call. Meanwhile I was trying to get a refund but nobody answers the phone. I left messages that I was going to report them if they didn't give me my money back. Finally a supervisor called me back his name was Rico and said he would close my account submit a ticket for a refund and to call him back if I didn't see it in my bank within 5-7 business days. He also gave me his personal phone number to get in contact with him directly.

That number was disconnected. I was within a day $500 overdrawn at the bank for all the calls that came through that number they gave me even though I never spoke with anyone or answered the call for that matter.

My bank had to block the charges and issue me another card. My bank is filing a dispute and I'm reporting them here so this doesn't happen to anyone else.

Scammers!

It is a scam. All of the above comments are true. I didn't even bother to go and back (or attempt to try) with them. After learning it was a scam, I immediately called my bank to file a dispute. It is such a shame that they do this to people, its hard enough having a loved one as an inmate. I hope they get shut down for good. We should all sue them....

Back end to story. Complaint at bottom! So my brother who is incarcerated told me that another inmate told him about this service. So without any hesitation I signed up. OPPS big mistake.

They claim to be affiliated with Securus and they are not. So instead of unlimited talk for $77 Securus was actually taking money off my card for the calls. I contacted Inmatecall.com via the phone.

The lady at x 102 said she would refund me $43 but never saw it and still fought with them for 2 months to no end result other than them taking my money. The advertise that you can cancel in 5 days but that is actually false.

The foreign lady told me they normally don't and I told her that is false advertisement. It is in your best interest to stay away unless you want your $$$ taken from you.

I became a customer of inmatecall.com August 18,2018 and was told I would be able to receive low rate calls from my fiancé from jail using their service. I was also told they had a promotional low first time activation fee which the promotion was only goin on for a month and in order to receive promotion I would have to place my order that day this did not include the fee for the 3 month of service . I paid 69.00 and they sent me a number to give my fiancé to call for low rate service his call to the number would forward to my number so it worked 2 days and then the number stopped working. in short I ended up getting 4 different numbers from inmate call because they kept stopping working. I didn’t get full service I paid for because of that also the very next day they were sending invoices saying I was due and that I only paid for a month of service which is not true.

I paid for 3 months service and first time 1 hour activation which the activation was on promotion for that month. they refuse to see the invoice description stating that my service details is 3 months service and 1 hour activation . They have shut my service off and just kept my money they are a scam

I tried their service in Dec 2017 and after making 1 call using their service, I discovered that it did not save me any money, therefore I cancelled the services immediately following that. They were suppsoed to refund my money and I was told it would take approximately 7 to 10 days to be refunded. I also discovered that they took out two additional payments that were not due to them at $57.67 each. I addressed this with them and was told it happened due to a glitch they were having with their equipment update but I would be refunded.

I was told this on 12/19/17 and as of today, I still do not have my money. I called my bank immediately about this also but they said since it was my debit card, there was nothing they could do. I have emailed these people numerous times, which go unsanswered except for one. The response was extremely bogus about their equipment again. Which I called them out on the fact that it was a lie and told them they are thieves. The contact phone numbers they were first using are no longer valid. But when I would call, it always went to a voice mail. At first you could leave a message but then the recording changed and it said it was not a monitored line and to call back. Then the number was no good and I had to go back on their site to find a new number.

I have called this new number over and over and no one ever answers. It's always a voice mail and tells you to leave a message and they will get back with you within one day. Well that's a lie too. Not only do they falsely advertise that they will refund you if their services do not save you money, but they take money that you do not even owe them. This company is ridiculious. I have filed complaints with the FCC and Better Business Bureau also, but so far I'm still without my money. I know there are many people out there that would be really hurting for that money back. I need my money back and these people have stressed me out to the max with this. They should not even be allowed to operate, esp since they will not even take a call or return one.

I appreciate any and all help I can get with this.
