Surprised Barbara Cameron hasn't been sued for fraud

Back in 2005 I was scammed by Barbara Cameron's fake modeling agency. They took around $400 bucks, or more, from me about 5 minutes after my arrival. I read one line from an Oreo cookie commercial copy. One line, then they told me I was perfect. Then had me pay their "FEE" which i put on two different credit cards & barely had enough gas $$ to get home (My fault I know). I felt violated, the amount of pressure they apply during their pitch, combined with their Christian "we're good people" talk. I was still hopeful though, now that the lady who "Made the Olson twins famous" (so she said many many many times) was my agent maybe she could actually do something for me. They made me take fake headshots for another $300 bucks. The shots were beyond complete garbage and that's putting it nicely. I called them back after I got the pictures taken & a week later I to try to schedule my second meeting to see which of the headshits they wanted to use for their profiles. I called and said who I was & not even trying to hide the annoyance in her voice, *SIGH* through the phone, then "Hold on!" I assume she was looking me up but just up on me... I called back & the same lady picked up, who apparently thought I was a new "customer/sucker" & began her sales pitch. When I said "Excuse me, I'm the girl that just called ... again, CLICK! I tried again a week, or so, later and it was the same thing. Now that it's been years and I'm no longer ashamed of myself, I'm confessing! I hope this helps someone, even if just to read it and not feel so alone. A lot of us are out here and I personally don't know how these people didn't get the life sued out of them for fraud. I sent good ol' Barbara an email to say 'shame' a couple days ago & it made me feel a little better! She writes books about "how to be a good person" now which makes me want to puke! So I'll probably go review the book on amazon or something!

I signed on with image development talent in 2004. They told me that candace cameron's mom owned the place, so i felt like i was putting my money toward a trustworthy company. Then they told me my headshots needed to be done by their company so i paid at least $300 I'm almost certain i paid with a credit card, if not a check) have them done - and the photographer was obviously a beginner. They were over-exposed. They put my photo in a printed document that they "send to casting agents every month" but i never heard anything again from them.
