iHire, LLC. Reviews

I've used ihire.com a few times in the past for ads to hire employees. I always take out an ad for one month. This past time, I noticed they repeatedly charged my credit care for months.

When I called them for a refund except for the first month, they told me it was a subscription service and they could not give me a refund. Ihire.com is a scam. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.

The site consistently had technical problems making it difficult to use. The site included outdated jobs (WAY outdated) and I never saw a listing that I had not already seen elsewhere. So essentially a useless service. Then they billed me $75 for membership (apparently a multi month membership as it should only be 25-35). As soon as I saw the charge, I requested that the account (which I had not used since, again, ITS USELESS) was cancelled and the charge refunded. They refused - said I paid and could enjoy the rest of the USELESS membership - they refused to refund any portion. DO NOT USE - YOU WILL BE CHARGED HIGH UNAGREED TO AMOUNTS FOR AN EXTREMELY BAD SERVICE.

Want my money back and this site shut down. Looks like this is an on going issue for this site.

They advertise having thousands of people looking for jobs, but they do not. They charged $360 for 30 days of job searchers access to your job post. So far we got 3 and 2 had no relevant experience. When I called they wanted me to lower the qualifications for the applicant. We don't want to train someone - we want an experienced employee. So they gave us access to search the resumes. Three qualified persons out of 350 and those resumes had been posted 3 months ago. Stay away from this site.

Our company had placed ads in a number of "free" employment posting sites. It was for a very specific trade related to construction. After getting nothing but resumes with skills completely unrelated to the job requirements, we decided to try someone "in the field" to post our job, with specific qualifiers.

We thought it would be worth the NEARLY $400.00 it cost in order to get resumes that would be "construction related" ... so... I contacted them, discussed our specific challenge and they assured me that we would definitely get good candidates for our job openings.

In the month that we had our ad on their site... we got a total of 6 resumes. 1 resume had minimal experience in a related field, but it was barely related. The rest were for receptionist positions, and computer techs... nothing remotely close to what we needed.

When I emailed my concerns to the company rep... they told me my ad looked good, had all the components to be effective, they would cross list it in another category to boost our chances in the HOUSTON area... the only problem with that was we are in OKLAHOMA. So... when I emailed back with that information, she was embarrassed but assured me she just misspoke and it was in our area.

2 weeks later... still no viable candidate... may I remind you... They CLAIM their applicants are specific to construction... all candidates ... as few as they were ... were very far from the construction field. Receptionists, cooks and computer techs that were not EVEN REMOTELY in our specific field...

It certainly seems like false advertising to me.
