Bitpro claimed that they were an online broker that invested in Forex trading with Bitcoins. With an initial investment they would recommend trades to be placed on their platform and you would be paid in bitcoins if the trades win ( minus a 20% fee). After winning a few minor trades your account would show if you won or lost the trade. After winning a few minor trade they would ask for a bigger cash ( Bitcoin) investment to place , what they called, a guaranteed trade. These trades were backed by them, so if you lost they would recover your lost back into your account.

Eventually you would win most of these trades and you account will grow pass $25,000 and you would become a next level investor. They would try to get you to make another large deposit for another guarenteed trade and sure enough you would lose that trade. Eventually you would start losing more and more trades and when you try to cash out the website won't let you. Customer service would be non exsistant and the phone line would not connect your call. This company and it tactics are a scam!! Beware they may have changed their company name by now.

I was 1st contacted by Kevin Wilson, and he made Cyroto Currency investing a positive investment at 1st. then he left, and i was contacted by his partner Aaron and he had me buy BitCOIN and invest in Ibitpro platform. It seem everything was going fine until I stop hearing from him, and we did not make investment on the platform in a week or so so I log into the platform check my accout balance everything seem fine so , I just figure he was doing like he was tell me doing what brokers i would imagine doing. I never gave it a second thought. Then a few days later I try Log in to the Platform and the website was taken down so what happen. I called Aaron no responses. That's when I knew I had been ripped off. I look to see if there was a problem with Ibitpro and it took me to this fraud page about Ibitpro and that i wasn't the only victim

After depositing BTC on May 12. No response to text messages, phone calls or email. Web url was parked at GoDaddy on Wednesday May 16, 2018. Surprised to see other complaints after that date. Approx loss 11 BTC. (approx $100K). iBitPro originally was associated with an address at 3601 Wall Street in New York City, New York. I have seen other locations for the business, most recently in Los Angeles, California.

Reported to RCMP on May 14, 2018. Opened file #2018-56931.

Spoke with GoDaddy on May 14, 2018. They know who originally paid for the URL.. and who "parked" it.. but it's private information. Owner paid extra to keep that a secret. I understand that the RCMP was able to determine the entity or person. GoDaddy website was helpful.

Registered a complaint with FBI via IC3 on May 14, 2018.
