They had a notary public, Mark Fish, come to sign papers in my home in Kearney, Nebraska...the two pages where the AMOUNTS OF PURCHASE were blank, and I was told to just initial them...and when I got the check, they had reduced the amount I received over $29,000 less than I was supposed to receive.

An attorney here in Nebraska told me initials on contracts were non-binding....I have tried to negotiate with the representative of HOME VESTORS, ANDREW SPRINGER, and he was pretty cockey about the whole transaction. I was supposed to receive $110,000 and only got $80,000.

Short story... my long time partner and I were lied to and promised one thing. Then were told to keep our mouths shut about the agreement made between Jason Efron, myself, and my partner. End result? My old home has since been torn down, they destroyed the original septic tank and the property is useless now. The judge presiding the case wouldn't take into consideration I contract community based MRSA at the courthouse he worked in. I requested the case be moved to the Delray Beach courthouse bc of my health issues. Request denied.

I was contacted by Paul Blair from Home Vesters . He said he was from Derry NH.. He came out and looked at my home. He offered 100,000 dollars and I agreed on that amount. He said he would have papers ready to sign sept 8. 2017. We shook on it and he said he lookded forward to doing business with me. He then stated he went to the town hall and spoke to the building inspector and he could not sell the house as a three bedroom . Which I am paying taxes for and he dropped his offer to 80,000.

I thought it over and agreed to that because I made an offer on a home in arkansas and felt obligated to take it. I spent money planning on closing on the 8th and got a call the 8th stating he was busy and could not make it. I made a fool of myself callling people to get offers on fixing the house and lining up buying the house and calling creditors making plans to pay certain bills after the closing and was so stressed out I went into tackacardia and almost died from the stress of not being good on my word because he want good on his word.

He called and stated he would for sure sign papers and close on the 19th. at 10 am. He called at 10 and stated his printer broke and was friday good. I stated He could print the papers at the library, staples, or whatever and I would be willing to drive to his office to get the papers done. It would have to be after my heart testing tho. I have a two hour test today and anther one tomorrow.

He stated he could not do it today and i said i could not do it friday. I have changed and rearranged so manny dr appointments to accomodate his schedule its rediculous. I even pointed him on a deal on a home down the street that he said he was going to make an offer on and make money on it and thanked me for pointing it out to him.

We talked on the phone and said he had to think it over now because i texed him and said that he was incompitent and not good for his word. and i was very upset with him and had talked to an attorney to find out my rights in this kind of situation. I allplogized to him and said that if we could get it done I would still be willing to do so. he said he had to think it over. I just got a text from him stating that I called off the deal and he agreed to it. I wrote back and said not to blame it on me . I appologized for being angry and for what i said to him. it was him who called it off not me. nancy marcotte

We tried them when it was time to sell mom's house. They offered $50,000 after saying how everything needed to be ripped out.

We put it on the market and it sold for $150,000 in one week as is.

They make me sick.

Homevestors jayson came to our home and after inspection we sat at my kitchen table and we agreed upon a price he shook my hand and said he would be in contact with my realator and he sent a contract then brought people thru the house two different times. we returned the contract asking for more earnest monies and after five days he called and cancelled out. without any earnest monies i guess all of these investors are crooks and only want to tie up your property to see if they can get a quick sale. he informed me he was a scout leader and two scout leaders shook hands on the deal. guess what his word is not any good. do not deal with this company.
