The gave me a good deal for the cruise that they said was given to me except for a charge of $118. The sales person Mike Rooney when on to explain about other benefits and then redirected me to another agent who was explaining other packages to the cruise. I explained to him that i was not ready to commit to this deal. He kept on until we reached a deal of 3 monthly installments which was to good to be true. I was redirected back to Mike Rooney and he said was the one who was going to charge my credit card of $147. He get off the phone and comes back on the phone to tell me that billing charged me of the whole $586. I commented to Mike Rooney that I had been screwed and to cancelled the who trip. He gave the phone back to the other coordinator that i had spoke to and he explained to me that it was an honest mistake. I said just cancelled the whole trip. He said that the amount will be refunded back to my credit card in 24 hours or in the morning. I went to my bank and my bank said that the hold will be there until 9/9, which is a week later.

Holiday Cruise Line AKA Grand Bahama Cruise Lines.... I purchased vacation thru Grand Bahama Cruise Line, June 23 2015, at the time of purchase, I was not informed that we needed to sit thru a presentation for time share purchase. Vacation #GE062315-0047UBM. The vacation was delayed several times because of hurricanes damage to area. I called Holiday Cruise LIne in Sept.2017. I was informed that the cruise ship was being used for humanitary aide in Virgin Islands. I agreed to be scheduled on Baleria Ferry for transportation to Bahamas. Asked to itinerary to emailedd to me or sent in mail on Sept.4. No response from company, I returned phone call on Sept. 29th after returning from European vacation for 3 weeks to find out I had received no information from company. Spoke with representative, who stated trip, Rental car, Ferry, Florida resort and Bahama resorts was all in order. Asked for iteneray at the time. No response. Called Holiday Cruise line again on Oct. 9th Monday to verify all reservations. Was told at that time that the cruise line was not available at that time and should schedule vacation later. I verified that I was aware that I was aware the cruise ship was not available, and that I chose to use the Baleria ferry for transportation to Bahama island. All reservations were verified, but that i would need to purchase a 3rd night stay at Viva resort for over $250.00 because my original purschase was for 2 nights at resort. Asked why I needed to purchase this as I had already paid for nights on Cruise line, which was not available and this should cover cost of 3rd night. Stated I could cancel my trip, informed them we had already booked our air fare which was non refundable. Again stated I could cancel vacation or pay for 3rd night. I paid for 3rd night $250.00 ++. Again asked for itinerary, stated it would take 3 days to process, informed them I had requested multiple times before with no response. Upon arrival in Fort Lauderdate,Fl. with no itinerary, we found car was available at Alamo car rental. First good thing that happened, they were very helpful. Drove to Ramada Inn in Ft. Launderdale, 5100 North State Rd 7. Again with no itinerary, no directions from Holiday Cruise Co., my husband and I were left to fend for outselves, which was very stressful and created arguments between us. We did find the Welcome Center at Ramada Inn, I asked for itinerary and vouchers for our vacation. I was told our vacation had been canceled by Holiday. I stated I talked to Holiday, on Monday Oct. 9th, to confirm. Stress is now overwhelming. Vacation # given and they did find us in the system. After much delay and stress about having no place to stay, we received vouchers and iwas nformed that we needed to attend Time Share presentation for Wyndham Palm Aire Resort the next day at 8:30AM. I was upset about this because I was not informed of this requirement when I purchased the vacation. We did attend. Rest of vacation until we got to bahamas was very stressful as we were unsure if accomadations had been set up for us or not. I received the itinerary on Oct. 17., Tues. day we left the island. Upon return to Fort Launderdale we were given 1 free night in Ramada Inn, Tueday Oct. 17. The carpet in room 424 was filthy. My husband witnessed a drug exchange on the 4th floor. He is a retired law enforcement. We are asking for a full refund with all upgrads and extra nights that were purchased by myself. Eileen McKay 320-766-5401 11134 Co. Rd 12 Garfield MN. I tried to call back , the confirmation number is apparently a fake as well , this is bad . I have also found out that someone has tried and succeeded in using my credit card I provided in buying Halloween party tickets I have reported that

I emailed them back.I went to the website with no luck.I needed to travel on November 3rd and now I don't think I'll be able to since they steal my money with no products.

Don't know 0 sure it's a full scam just saw reviews plus I'm not lucky enough to win a free ticket on a lottery scratch off much less a freaking cruise. I want to create a organizational group that scams scammers to show the lazy pathetic thieves how it feels. Ha.. hope this helps stop them if needed. Later people! This -Wes-

I entered for a free cruise on Facebook. There was no mention of having to pay port taxes immediately upon being told i won the cruise. When they called me they made it all sound so good, and i expected to have to pay my way to Florida, however free is free. They told me i had to pay port taxes immediately or i could not have the cruise. This is wrong. I'm a disabled person who lives . If i have 18 months to take the cruise i should not have to pay the port tax immediately. Old and disabled. Never won anything in my life and they broke my heart. It's wrong to do this to old people.

He went on to tell me how I could add two days on the island for additional fees at the Lucayan Hotel because the boat would leavw but return to pick us up because it saile daily.. He tokk my credit info and turned me over to Frank, who advised me that I would get free hotel accomations in Fla. if I arrived earlier for the cruise so that I would not miss the boat and also free car rental for that tome as well. I would have 18 months to make thia trip and would get a discount with the airline with by a corporate discoun. I also upgrade my cabin to an outside cabin for another fee and told me I would be e-mailed all of the info within 24 hrs..

Dialed # given on The Price Is Right in order to regisiter for a prize and was told by Jimmy Duparrier that I had won a two day cruise w/ Holiday cruise for two and only had to pay deportation fee fo each @$59.00 each.

He took my credit info & told me that I could include a hotel stay on the island for a fee at the Lucayan and be picked as booked. I had 18 mths. to take this trip with a 60 day pre booking.

Was transfered to Frank who advised me that I would get free hotel lodgings upon my arrival @ Ft. Lauderdale and free car rental for the same time period and he suggested that we arrive a few days earlier so as not to miss the boat.

So yesterday I received a cruise line voucher for 1300$ for a cruise to palm beach Florida grand Bahama island. I called them to see if it was true an to see about cashing this 1300$. They asked for my name an for my phone number just in case we cut out. Moments later I couldn't hear this man anymore. I said hello he never answerd so I hung up n called back all it said was please hold while we find someone to assist you. Or something like that. Not sure if this one was a scam or not. But I'm pretty sure is was.

DO NOT USE THIS CRUISE LINE. I tried to cancel my $59 while still on the original call, as I didn't want to pay for extra hotel/car rental stuff, and they wouldn't let me! The original operator put his supervisor Stephanie (Employee #FL3026) on the line, and her response to my desire to cancel the transaction was "Then why did you purchase it in the first place?" She told me it was not refundable, as it had already gone through, which was a lie (I immediately called my CC company and they confirmed). She would not stop talking to listen to me (HORRIBLE customer service), and told me I could not speak to her supervisor as she was the only person in charge.

DON"T sign up for a Holiday Cruise Line "Free Cruise to the Bahamas." It is a RIP OFF! You pay port taxes then when talking to a rep, you get high pressure tactics to sign up for a long vacation at a big expense. Hidden in there fast talk is a few words that you have to go on a time share presentation. These people are running a scam.

I received a mailer from someone calling themselves Holiday Cruise Line. It contained what looks like a real boarding pass for 2 and a $1,300 travel voucher. Upon reading all the details it was instructing me to call 1 800 313-2484 and that I will have to give them a credit card over the phone to supposedly pay only $59 in port fees.

I was septic al of calling a random number to give personal information for a supposed cruise I had won without entering any contest to win anything. I began by go ogling this Holiday Cruise Line. The website hclvacation.com exists but has no contact information or way to book cruises from it. It is just a lot of pictures. Apon further investigation I found that the very same picture are on an actual cruise website bahamasparadisecruise.com and they do have contact information and a way to book cruises. They don't seem to have any connection to this supposed Holiday Cruise Line.

Next, I google earth searched the address the letter was supposed sent from. It is in the building of the Island Breeze Casino. I started searching that. All the reviews of the casino stop in 2014, the website domain is up for grabs and no longer associated with a business and I found an article about the bankruptcy of Island Breeze Casino. One can only assume they are no longer in business.

I never called the number because I can find no conclusive evidence that Holiday Cruise Line exists. Be ware. Don't give out credit card information over the phone to these people. They don't seem to exist where they say they do or be the business they claid to be. The letter may not have even been sent from the address it says since that building is probably vacant after the Bankruptcy.

In closing, all I can say is good effort in this legit looking elaborate scam. You did your homework. Google maps is not up to date and shows a cruise ship out front pre-2014 bankruptcy. Without close scrutiny many may fall for this scam. I hope the effort they put into this scam comes back to them 10 fold in consequences for their actions.
