High Expectation Hospitality Reviews

  • May 23, 2018

I went to a strip club alone on February 24th-25th. I do not deny that. I was at the bar and ordered a

drink for which I paid cash. At some point, I was the approached by a man who introduced me to a lady

whom I believe went by the named Ivy. She took me to a booth in a back corner which I did not request

but I went anyway.

At no time was I told any cost would. I offered to buy Ivy a drink and I remember us talking. Then we had another drink and that is where my memory gets fuzzy. To the best of my knowledge I never had more than three to four drinks of Vodka. I have spots of memory of more girls coming into the room that I never invited. I remember a male person coming into the room who took me out of the room but then brought me back in. We went to a podium of some sort where I signed two documents on which I don’t remember seeing any total amounts.

I barely remember signing them but I may have. I can’t be sure. I don’t see I could enter into a contract if I was drunk so much that I can’t remember. They had my drivers license so they had my signature and most of the signatures are not consistent.

Although they now produce receipts that show how many Rhino Chips I purchased, I do know that I did

not receive any chips. There was no explanation of the chip system. They had some document they did produce explaining their system. Since I never received any chips, then there was no sale.

They say in the same document that “you (including your likeness, statements, and movements) may be monitored,

photographed and recorded relating to this transaction…use such photography and recording in order to

verify this transaction and related purposes.” They only have video of two of the (lower charges) 10 charges I was to have made. I requested my credit card companies to obtain the video showing that I received these tokens and that I used them

to make purchases. They have been less than helpful. (We can talk about how helpful the Credit card companies were in another article). Spearmint Rhino says that the rhino chips are received at the time of the sale but no one has produced the videos showing these transaction. Again, no chips no sale.

The document also says that “I have asked to know and been advised of all costs up front.” This never happened.

According to their own documentation they say the I am “an occurring customer and high spender at

this location according to the General Manager, Eric Rubenstein.” I have never been to this place

before, so I am not sure what this statement means. This is the first time I have been here and don’t

recall meeting an Eric Rubenstein. The implication is that I frequent this place by this use of the word

“occurring”. This is deceptive which makes me question any proof that they show.

I check on yelp.com and found similar stories but only one person responded to my request for more information but he could not. He did say he also knew they were dirty.

I hired a good lawyer in Dallas but I just can’t afford to take the club to court.
