I installed sprinklers in my home in Feb 2013. The first year 6/12-9/7/2013 I received a water bill for 100.30 my average water bill was usually 10.00 prior to this bill. I figured I was using more water for the grass...no problem.
In 2014 from 6/13-9/8/14 for the same time period as above I received a bill for 734.70. I went crazy. I walked around my neighborhood asking my neighbors with sprinklers if their bill was as high as mine and I heard several stories about people having problems with Greenlawn water district. I drove down to their home office in Greenlawn and spoke with Andy. He was very rude and said well if you used the water you have to pay for it. That is not the issue, If i incurr any charges or buy anything I pay for it. My credit is excellent because I pay my bills. I will not pay for something that I did not use. I kept calling and writing letters and Andy said not to pay the bill in 2014 because he wanted to compare it to the same time of year in 2015. Well low and behold the bill came in 2015 from 6/17-9/1/15 125.96...I called Andy at Greenlawn..he said well based on the history of what you used the 734.70 bill is correct...this makes absolutely no sense to me.

That 734.70 is not correct...Andy is extremely rude..he did not give me a chance to talk and whenever I tried to say something...he says.."no no..no I am not going to waste my time arguing with you.." the bill is right..I was so disappointed frustrated and angry. After an entire year of waiting to resolve this problem I am back to square one. What make me even more angry is Andy has no compassion for his customers. I guess he has this attitude because if you do no pay your water bill by a certain time a lien goes against your property. This is just terrible.
If there is anyone out there that can help me...PLEASE HELP. For now I will pay the average amount for this time of year based on the 2013 and 2015 bills.
