I along with thousands of other players play Crime City by Gree. Gree has set up this game almost exactly like a gambling game. When Crime City first came out you could play for free as advertised, but over the years they soon make you addicted (without any warning in their terms of service that this may happen) to the game and make all the events in the game unachievable without using lots of gold. The cost of gold is very high and most players are forced to spend thousands just to stay competitive. They run events that you need to use gold for prizes and are not guaranteed the prize. It’s only by chance that you win and thus having you spends an unknown amount of gold until you finally win. Exactly like gambling.

Gree also provides an unfair advantage by providing a sever lag to certain players. For one example in one event call Street Assault I with my team were in a battle with another team. It was a 30 minute battle to see you can score the most on a particular node. The winner gets control points that increase your overall score in the 4 day battle. In this one battle I had used 44,000 in gold and at 3 minutes left in the battle while we were ahead, most of my team including me suffers game crashes, and the other team doesn't and ends up winning. I have sent in an e-mail for a refund of gold (44,000) for that battle with no real response from gree. This is just one example. Here is a list of many others:

The game Crime City is a flawed product and it seems beyond the ability of Gree to fix the problems it has either unknowingly or deliberately created.

The game is promoted as 'free to play' and it used to be so. At one time players spent money to assist / reduce time needed to complete an event. Now one needs to spend money just to participate in events, some of which are structured so they are impossible to complete.

No matter how many times players notified Gree that the problems were occurring Gree has failed to address the issue or compensate players for money spent to that point.

Its reached a point where Gree refuses to take any responsibility for any issues, and seems to expect that if players are unhappy they should be refunded by either Google or iTunes.

1: 2 Street Assault events where some teams were locked out. It does appear selective in that not all teams are affected, some are are affected for part of the event, whilst other are affected for the entire event.

2: Epic Boss has broken goal list, so players who are strong enough to complete the even are unable to do so because they cant progress due to Gree's failure to correct the glitch.

3: Epic Boss boss has final boss strengths almost impossible for lower - mid range players to complete so any money spent trying to do so is wasted.

.4: limited edition sets, broken. Why advertise high stat items when players can't purchase, other than to make them buy gold in what turns out to be a futile attempt to buy, said sets

5: Street Assault: team fight individual scoreboard, broken and as has been for some time. Gree cant or will not correct this glitch.

6. Broken event goal lists ; all complete after one battle.

7. Splash pages are broken, showing the wrong team names

8. Battle event daily goal prizes don't stack. Even though you win them each day

.

9 wrapper prize required 4 daily prizes in a 3 day war. Gree seems to be unable to match event time length with days needed to win items when you need to win 4 daily yet the event is only of 3 days duration.

10. Locked out of battle. 3 wins not counted towards streaks. So gold used / money spent is wasted nor is to refunded back to players

11.War, Many duplicate/repeat prizes

12: Gree has been informed since early 2015 that the rivals list is broken when players reach level 300, yet Gree has failed to acknowledge and address the issue, nor has it made any effort to compensate players

13: Gree is ignoring its own Terms of Service by posting as one of the game Rules players cannot trade or transfer their accounts to other players. Where some players have contravened the Rule Gree has locked their accounts yet in other cases Gree has assisted in the transfer of accounts. So Gree has created 2 classes of players, they player who pays and does all events to improve their account and others who just jump ahead with a stronger bought / transferred account thus preventing the long time paying player the opportunity of winning a good prize. Gree has allowed a 'black market' to become established where players trade / sell accounts and as in most black markets unethical behavior can occur

such as the question Does any Gree staff take a kick back in the traded accounts?

14: Length of time it takes Gree to respond to players complaints. It can take anywhere from 14 - 21 days to get a reply from Gree Customer support to an in game ticket or external email and the reply is just a canned response "

If you are still experiencing an issue, please feel free to submit a new request via our in-game option, and one of our specialists will be happy to assist you.

We apologize for the this inconvenience." A reply that doesn't address the immediate problem, nor does it 'make good' the time and cost to the player

15:accomplices an item that Gree stated could only be won and not for sale so players spent money on winning events that had them as prizes.

Then Gree changed its mind and put accomplices as sale items, but after players stopped spending money on aquiring accomplices Gree changed its mind yet again and pulled the item from the game without compensating players

Incredible frustration doesn't quite cover it

Epic Boss event I couldn't complete the legendary section due to fault at level 2.

.

Like most players its pointless reporting faults glitches or breaks because the event is finished by the time a ticket is read.

Limited edition sets ; broken, could not be bought.

.

Box event: first place prize offered as a general prize for only part of the event, and players have no way of guessing if Gree is going to fix their fault, remove the prize or let players keep the prize, the only thing they know Gree wont refund any gold used. So Gree is deliberately / willfully creating separate classes of players. Those who exploit Gree's mistakes / failings and those who expect Gree to provide a clean honest game.

But I can now say I used to have low expectations but now I have none what ever you do it will be flawed

latest example being your 40% off sale extended only to have the extension revoked I presume due to management conflicts
