There were thefts in this hotel, I had my camera and money stolen in my bedroom, probably the thieves had the keys of my room because nothing was forced and the door stay closed. This was a poor experience as I expected to relax a bit in this place, it was a bad choice for me.
The room is very run down, dingy and basic which is fine for the £75 we paid but what is not fine is that the shower goes hot then cold, the bathroom was dirty, toilet didn't flush and sink kept blocking plus there wasn't a proper blind up on the bathroom window just a very thin, see through shower curtain so everyone would be able to see you showering if they were walking past.
After all this the biggest thing was the two girls who picked up two blokes on a night out and brought them back to the hotel, the walls were paper thin and we had to listen to them shouting, swearing and banging around and then all of them having sex! That's fine but having to explain it all to my 11 year old niece wasn't fine so we rang the night porter who other than walk around the hallway did nothing about it!
In the morning we told the manager our complaints and he didn't care less! Ok he kept apologising and said he would speak to the night porter because he said he should of chucked them out but that was it. I said I thought he should be refunding the price of the room and he was like oh well I can give you £10 and then when he saw the look on my face he said £20 so I told him to shove it. He was so rude and unbothered it was shocking!
