I bought a French bulldog from, what I thought was a legitimate breeder. (Mr and Mrs Norman). After the initial cost of the dog, I was hit with various fees and costs from the breeder and the "shipping" company.
I was never told and was blindsided with the extravagant costs associated with shipping the dog by Global Logistics. High shipping costs, a "climate controlled" crate because they wouldn't accept the crate I'd already bought, board and care of the dog, vet care because the dog allegedly developed Parvo overnight, nonsense because they were going to "ship" him the night before, vaccinations, insurance, etc.
I'm out-of-pocket about $20,000 and, of course, no dog and no correspondence from either the breeder or shipper.
