I saw an ad in the oaoer for dental implants for $25,000, i had previously been to a different implant center who quited me $33,000 and was deciding if i should follow through. i went to Geneva 2000 Denture Center and they made me feel like it would be a simpke 6 month procedure and i would be very hapoy with the end results. i was told that i i d to pay uofront for the work or at least pay half vefire they started, i made payments each visit over a 6 month period and paid in full. I was still witing for the impkant surgery since i had to heal after extractions. I git 8 impkants 4 on too too 4 on bottom, i was concerned about the placement of the bottom implants since they looked very irregular and crooked. That was not the real oroblem, all of my upper implants faiked within 2 weeks and 1 by 1 they became loose and oainful to where i had to pull them at home in ghe middle if the night. My upper temporary denture which is supoosed to protect the implants just didnt fit prooerly and i tokd my denture maker seeral times to correct it but was told to just wait for 4 minths whike they heal and i will get my good sett.
I went back in for 4 mire impkants since the first 4 faiked, i must mention im a non smoker, nin drinker) i got 4 new impkants ans once again they all failed. It started to seem like the surgeon had ni idea of what he was doing and neither did the denture maker. No corections were made to my temp set and i was back in 6 months later fir 4 more. This surgery is the mist painfull yiu coukd imagine, the recovery time is about 2 weeks if pain, the faikure is even more oainfull with vibratiins going into your jarw bones. The 3 rd rd t i asked if i i cou not be put to sleep so i could observe the proceedure in action to determine what was going wrong. This was very painful but i found it needed to be done. I immediately noticed that i i didnt feel the impkants were set properly during the installation torquing. I even mentioned to the surgeon that i was positive 3 of the 4 were not seated properly and he proceeded to explain how i was wrong.
1 week later thise 3 failed! I was set once agin to return fir the 4th try but was told that i i nedded to have a bone graft, something that was not mentioned orior to starting. I also was told that i should get a full sized impkant and not a mini as i had been getting and it would cost another $1600 which i i paid and also was charged for the cost of the mini pins since they cist a lot each time they failed! Well i git 1 full sized and 2 more minis and the 2 minis failed and the full sixed ended up with soft tissue growth over the impkant and was surgically extracted. I was in constant apin for 2.5 years, i ended up with 5 mini impknts and a poorly fitting upper temoorary denture and a porrly fitting lower denture which has such a large gap under it , i have to remove it after i eat to get large pieces of food out from under my frint gum line. I finalky had enough and jjust wanted to get my final set of dentures and call it quits i couldnt take the pain and the surgeries were getting worse each time. I went into get my final dentures and found out that the guy who was working on my dentures had died and their were 2 new dentist working at the geneeva 2000 denture center and i was actually relieved and i told them the problem and how i just wanted ti get my final set i paid for 3 years prior. They told me that they were not doing any charity work!?
I asked what were they talking about? I already paid for the service and demanded i get my final set of dentures. They told me to get lost they werent doing anything for free?! I was outraged i mmade my payments to Geneva 2000 Denture Center and i expect they fulfill my services i paipaid fir! They denied me anytging and told me to keave! Ive contacted every lawyer about recovering my payment or getting my final set of dentures, i even went into have them made at another denture place and they said because of the poor pkacement and how they were set there was no way that they could work with my imolants at any cist! They said they need to be removed and start over. Well the 1 upoer tgat was holding ended up snapping off flush with my bone and my uooer denture broke from so many holes drikked in it. I have 1 ootiin and that is to sue in small claims court for $2500! That is hardly worth the trouble i have been through im sseeking a lawyer to represent me on this matter. Ive exhuasted all local lawyers who are spinless ambulance chasers and have no guts ti actually go to court and fight for me. I think they arent seeing it worth their time since its not a simpke insurance claim that they can just call their buddies at the insurance company and be done with it. I cant believe i was ripped if for $27,000 and nobidy will take my case. 3 yaers of constant pain and sstill have nothing to show but some poorly placed impkants that collect food under them.st
