First call offered maintenance to keep operating smoother and faster. Paid; all better. Then more calls to see how it was working. Told them fine. Started receiving alerts on computer about unidentified attacks. Then call about this issue. Option to pay for limited period or lifetime. Bought lifetime. Then call that computer was accessed by numerous outside sources. Showed screens with alleged attacks and attackers. Said lifetime support would clear these and much more expensive program neede to prevent recurrence. Told them to clear up and let me think about new expense / coverage - also available for lifetime or limited time at discount for established customers. Talked to friend in computer repair. Told me hackers story possible, but less optimistic about blocking to keep account clean forever. Suggested I try free software called MalwareBytes available on Internet I id'd 107 errors. When I tried to quarantine them, computer was locked and screen demanded a password. Needless to say, my password was not it. Called Geek Support Live, who assured me they could reopen and get machine running, but with chance all my data would be lost. Took chance; just learned no data could be saved. They insisted on payment by check.

This company (Geek Support Live) at first was exceptional with computer repair but would always infect my computer with some Russian Hacking program and hold me captive until I would pay for repair service by not clearing the virus from my computer.

This went on for years and has cost me approx $8000.00 I have received two computers and an Ipad from them because they said my computers were unrepairable. The Ipad was a gift. Most of the money was for repair due to the hacking programs they had installed and the programs they installed to repair the infected computers.

Bottom line seniors beware of unprofessional tech support and do not allow anyone on your computer from outside your home. These people have disrupted my wife and I and have taken our savings from us. This is nothing but a SCAM of the fullest.
