If you are reading this you might be considering buying something from geekhoodies.com

DON’T DO IT

They claim to be selling Official Assassin Creed Hoodies “Assassin's Creed III (DM Original) 2016 Edition” and you see there advert everywhere on Facebook. See the picture I have uploaded.

This looks like a great bargain, with a sale counting down from nearly $40 to less that $30. You see other pop us saying some one has just bought one in xyz town, and it has positive reviews, on there site which I doubt.

Mine came with free shipping. Value of the item? $5!!!!!!!!! and the rest was shipping costs FROM CHINA. Shipping was more than the hoodie!!!!!!!!! Quality is nasty nylon mixed with one ounce of cotton and it is FAR TOO SMALL across the chest and the hood is tiny.

WORSE - they are not authorised by Assassins Creed either. False and illegal advertising.

NO labels or nothing mentioning Assassins Creed or Geek Hoodies.

Here’s the kicker. It's the SAME item can be bought way under there 'sale price', you can spend $12.50 and get it from Aliexpress in China! See the other picture I uploaded.

My “Original” Assassins Creed hoodie I paid $30 for came from Ganzhou in China……… same place as where the shops on Aliexpress make them!!!!

Obviously Geek Hoodies buy these hoodies off Aliexpress for $12.50 and charge gullible punters like me $30 - they make a massive profit and make me thing I’m saving $10!!!!!

Is selling something at a profit illegal? Or course not, but selling something that is reported to be an Original Desmond Morris Assassins Creed. Of course it is illegal.

This is more than a rip off because they run Facebook ads to reel in young guys with funny ads then whack them with this.

Finally - no address on the website (obviously) and the domain registration name and address is hidden and masked (obviously).

Stay away from their little scam.

Scam stay away

Very very bad copies made in a knock shop somewhere in China. After complaining on their live chat as well as per email I get an email from Mackenzie Williams - Customer Support Specialist that my item will be replaced without having to send it back. Thereafter no more response and the live chat is also off line. All I can say is stay away from this and many similar shops. They all look the same and offer the same garbage.. Lesson.. Go into the shop and feel the item you are buying..

I ordered 2 hoodies back in July 2017 and never heard or received any orders from geek hoodies.

I ordered 3 jackets from geekhoodies.com over a month ago. The package was supposedly sent out and the last it was in LA on March 15th. That's the end of it. I was supposed to receive the packge before March 20th and still am unable to trace it. Cutomer support is every worse. They aren't responding to my emails or phone calls. Its absolutely disappointed me. I am apparently not the only one scammed by this website. It was $89 and my money is gone. Can you please help.

The fine folks at geek hoodies sent me the wrong size hoodie back in November 2016. I ordered the assassins creed geek hoodie in a size large for a dear friend who loves assassins creed as a Christmas gift. While the hoodie arrived in a timely manner, it was too small for the recipient of the hoodie. As I stated previously, I ordered the hoodie in a large size, however the hoodie was labeled 2X, and still looked like it would fit a small child and not a grown man. I noticed this immediately and contacted geek hoodies and asked for a full refund to my pay pal account. It took a while before I heard anything and when I finally did, it was a generic email they sent to me saying that they have been experiencing high volumes of emails and they are trying to answer in the order in which they were received but will get back to me soon and to let them know if my issue has been resolved. I responded promptly and politely telling them no my issue has not been resolved and I would still like to send the hoodie back for a full refund to my pay pal account because he hoodie is too small for the recipient. It took a while again, but I got a response back from them, via email, but it was just another bull**** email about high volumes of emails and all that other horse****!! It's now February and I still have not gotten a refund and I am extremely pissed about this. They charge me $30 for this bull**** thin material hoodie that is too small for the recipient and then play games with me and all just refuse to give me a refund?! The nerve of them!! Do not order from geek hoodies!! I repeat do not order from geek hoodies!! It's a scam, it's a waste of time and money and energy and shipping material and cheap sweater material and Chinese peoples time and energy and a waste of an instagram page and a website and of everything for everyone involved!! Go buy something else with your $30.00 please. You're not missing out on anything except a headache and horse**** emails!!

This provider of low quality hoodies perpetuates retail fraud. The product took over two months to be delivered and did not look even close to what was advertised and was of extremely poor quality. Not only was it not worth the original price, pay pal facilitated the fraud by mandating I pay return shipping to get my money back. Do not purchase anything from this merchant and I would be careful if u believe using pay pal may somehow protect U from such frauds.

Please do not use the company Geekhoodies.com ... An incredible rip off. Not only did it take 3months to arrive, the product i recieved couldnt have been more diff that the description. Absolute crap. I ordered a 2xxl sweatshirt... it arrived and would fit a 5yr old child. and the quality... its not even a sweatshirt.. it feels as tho it was made from a vinyl tent. save your money!! a total scam. buyer beware! I wish i had researcehd the company before purchase. The price are cheap for a reason. They are ripping people off $25 at a time and probably makein a gold mine.. do not buy from them!!!

I bought an Assassin's Creed 2016 Hoodie for my son on December 21st, 2016.

https://geekhoodies.com/products/assassins-creed-i-dm-original-2016-edition-rf

It took a month to arrive, first of all. But if it had been worth the wait, I would have been fine with the long shipment time. Turns out, it wasn't.

The fabric is the cheapest, worst quality synthetic that I've ever seen. There is no weight to it, the weave is not tight, it feels scratchy and nasty to the touch. You could not find cheaper fabric, I'm sure. Bottom of the barrel quality.

The stitching was already coming apart when I took the hoodie out of the bag. Really poor serging. Loops of stitching were coming out of the hem at the bottom of the sweatshit. I trimmed them, but those seams are going to be coming apart soon.

The hoodie doesn't even look like Assassin's Creed. It has an offset zipper, and that's it. I bought a Puma sweatshirt at Costco a few months ago for the same price ($24) and not even Assassin's Creed. My Puma sweatshirt looks more like Assassin's Creed than this, and the quality is actually good on my Puma sweatshirt.

I might also add that the use of the Assassin's Creed name is not licensed by this company. There's no official branding at all. These people are just pirates.

I bought this for my son, as he is a big AC fan, and he won't even wear it. I don't blame him, it's horrible, scratchy, ugly, and doesn't fit properly. This was supposed to be a Christmas present and it's a total dud. I'd return it, but I have to pay for the return shipping, and then it's exchange only. I'd probably have to return it to China, I imagine and there's nothing else that I would buy from this company after this experience.

Don't waste your money on this scam.

I ordered a hoodie for my son. When it arrived the quality is horrible, and it didn't fit my son. I've emailed the company 4 times telling them I want a refund and to return the item. They still have yet to respond. I've also called but no answer as well!

Poor quality and appaling customer service

I purchased 2 x jerseys for my nephew for Christmas 2016 and received them in mid January. They are poorly made sweaters / jerseys and I am embarrassed to even have them in the house. I have tried to return them for a refund on numerous occasions with the details they provide you with on their website but unfortunately have received no response. I would not recommend this company or brand to anyone. Disappointed from start to finish with the whole process of Geek Hoodies. Don't do it!

I ordered the Assassin's Creed hoodie over three weeks ago. You're supposed to get confirmation of shipping within 24 hours from this company. Got an order confirmation email that stated I'd get a tracking number asap. Three weeks later, no email, no tracking number, no hoodie. I've made four email and three phone attempts to contact their customer service, with zero response. This company is happy to take your money and cynically just deny you any kind of response or recourse. They plaster Facebook with ads for their corrupt company. Don't fall for it!

  • Jan 16, 2017

Seen ad on Facebook seems legit; hoodies for ~$20-$30... paid. Got zero tracking info, took a month to get, customer service rings only to an answering machine, no one responds to the email help address, and the hoodie (XXL) fits a small/medium- is poorly made. Request for refund and return address yields ZERO response!

I purchased 2 "Assassin's Creed" hoodies for my children for Christmas on Nov 4 via an advertisement on Facebook. More than a month later, after numerous attempts to contact Geek Hoodies via the only means provided (their email address), I finally received the order I placed. During that waiting time, I discovered many others complaining about their Geek Hoodies orders. I opened the package I received to discover that there is a toxic odor eminating from the fabric. I don't even want to put this smell in my washing machine. The size is NOT what I ordered and there's no size on any tag inside the hoodie. The stitching is terrible with loose threads hanging off it everywhere. The fabric is not very good either. It's kind of like the fabric in really cheap seat covers for your car. They look nothing like the pictures on the Geek Hoodies website and Geek Hoodies refuses to respond to emails.
