SERVICES BEWARE!! YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!! Zero accountability here!! Gates cracked my dash, and put the wrong oil in my truck. I paid $5000 for services, $2500 I now have to question if they were actually necessary. A liar lies about everything, not just some things!!!

I sent pictures showing the dash wasn’t cracked. Everybody there denies it happened. But the dash wasn’t cracked until they talked me in to an airbag recall on the passenger side where the cracks now at, and when I got the truck back, I immediately noticed it and called them, and the lies begin. Right from the service managers mouth all the dashboards crack there! Well, mine wasn’t cracked and I’ve got pictures and several people when I bought the truck to attest that the dashboard was not cracked at all. We actually had remarked that it was in such a great condition.

I had went in there for a couple fluid changes and flushes on the four-wheel drive, then they called me on the phone and everything‘s leaking underneath the truck, but not one drop of oil or any fluid was ever on my driveway, and we were under the truck and never seen any oil and there’s no oil on the frame at all yet still even after getting it back. But they called me and told me every hose underneath it was leaking and that needed to be replaced. Now I’m left to wondering if that was just lies as well. Liars lie about everything. I bought several vehicles from this place and serviced a lot of vehicles. Even had vehicles repaired at collision there and I’ve always had great service. It’s a shame that this is the reason that they’re going to choose for me not to come back for anything ever again. I even had to pay to have the oil re-changed after they changed it with the wrong oil and clearly marked it on the paperwork that it was the wrong oil, the motor now has a knock in it from the wrong oil but you can’t discuss that with them either because they just deny everything!!!

Purchased a 2005 jeep April 2016- took it home and it stalled and would not start without a battery jump- took jeep back to gates and they stated they would fix it- One week later and many times of the jeep being "fixed" and us picking it up and taking it home only to have to stall and not restart- they stated they would make it right with us- by finding us a similar running vehicle in our price range- this was not possible so a lease was discussed- a vehicle and price was agreed upon - upon the contract being signed the terms changed dramatically to a price range that was over the discussed limit and additional money was requested for a down payment- a $500 down payment was made for the non running jeep prior.

We could not agree to the higher monthly amount they changed it to nor the addition down payment- we asked for the $500 down payment to be returned to us since the jeep was non running and a vehicle could not be found that would be similar in make/ model/ year/ and price and the lease that was discussed had changed and we were not interested.

Our down payment was not returned- and we left the dealership in the jeep: it stalled less then a mile down the road- the next day it was again returned to GAtes and they stated they would fix it-

two more additional weeks pass and the general sales manager was contacted because myself and my husband refused to deal with the original sales manager for not only his failure to make it right with a running vehicle but his poor customer service in general. Three weeks with one vehicle in a two person working household who had two vehicles only to sell one to purchase the non running jeep was a nightmare- they again refused to return the $500 down payment and stated the jeep was unfixable- to not lose the $500.00 down deposit on top of 3 weeks worth of missed work we had no other option then to lease a small car with payments that are ridiculously high.

Problem i bought 2013 Equonox AWD, same problem sold me a bunch of contracts that amounted to over 5k, after 3 weeks of having the car he wanted my tax returns, I said this over and over I dont file tax returns, I'm disabled.

Then I ended up in the hospital that same week, I almost died. Did Gates care, hell no, not even flowers. The repoed my car as they say, but since its not a bank it Was Gates that took the car back and the 18k i put down myself I only got 10k since my mother took power of attorney they made her sign a statement that it was final and cannot be taken to court. I am a little slower than i was before but i'm not d**n stupid a loss of about 9k. I asked for my application for the loan and they said they dont use them anymore.

2nd Issue, I did not remember much before or after hospital

I went in looking around, almost attacked by 5 salesman. I drove the equinox, they changed the price and some standard items were no standard. so I looked at the Trax which was a smaller version of the equinox but close to the same price.

Anyways, I bought it Michael the finance guy lefted the contracts only up to the signature line, I thought nothing of thought he was helping me out, what a joke. I signed over 5k of warranty's. one warranty cost me $792.00 and it will pay for any $500 deductible.

It makes me puke to see people use your disabiliy against you, but its not over when are disabled you have rights and if your disabled you get more.
