I've order pizzas from Frankie's over 12 times. 1/2 the time it's excellent, the other half very dry and slightly black. We continue to go back hoping for an excellent pizza.... If it's burned, the male owner makes a good one right way. No problem. Until last week...
The night of Friday July 6th, I took the family from out of town to Frankie's Pizza. HUGE mistake! Ordered a carry out pizza ($23 including tip) and told the cashier to cook it light. I don't want it dry and black. Who does? She says, “ok.”
We get the pizza and it's dry and black on the edge of the crust, see the pictures. I ask the cashier about cooking times to correct this problem and an older lady runs out asking what the problem is. I explain this pizza is going to be hard as a rock in an hour. Instead of making a new pizza the right way she tells me, "eat it now, don't wait an hour." Ha! I told her I like to save a few pieces for the next day.
OK, This lady knows the pizza is dry and burned, but then she tells me “all” of Frankie's pizzas are always cooked this way. I told her I bought over 12 pizza and many times it's excellent.
This is where it gets crazy. She turns into a wild woman and starts screaming at us "Don't tell me how we make our pizza!! Don't tell me how we make our pizzas!!" Everyone from the back comes out and they form a circle like there's going to be a fight over a $5 burned pizza. WTF!!!!! And I can see the male owner in the back hiding behind some pizza boxes.
The lady continues to scream at me and my family, and tells us three times while we are walking out, “get out of my restaurant and never come back!!” Right, you need to tell us this three times? We will never support ANY business that would treat a human being like this. This place is disgraceful.
Yes, this was all absurd and many will never experience this. This leads me to believe there was “another reason” why this lady showed so much hatred toward me and my family, that had nothing to do with a burned pizza and $5. Either that or she was drunk. Ha! But I won't speculate here....
I'm posting this on all social media. I'm contacting the better business bureau. The way we were treated is against Nevada law and no one should have to deal with this. Frankie's pizza should have their license revoked and not be allowed to do business in Nevada. Period.
PS - Starving, we ate the middle of the pizza and left the black crust as shown in the pictures. I called to talk to the male owner of Frankie's Pizza and a worker asked who it was. He refused to talk to me. So, he agrees with this woman's behavior. Sad. She's just a mean mean bitter woman....
