I ran my Cadillac Escalade through Francis and Sons Automatic Car Wash over a month ago. Their machine completely ripped off my 3rd rear break light bar. The whole bar. The GM, Ignatio told me that his boss doesn't pay for things like this but he would have his guy help me find one from a junk yard to replace it at my cost. He said he could get one of his guys to install it. I took it to my mechanic and he said that it was definately torn off. I took it to body shop and they told me the same thing. I called Ignatio back and told him that they must pay to replace it. He became very rude and told me no. I asked for his supervisor and he gave me the wrong number to the corperate office. It was off by 1 number. Never the less I talked to Jeff Francis' secratary Jessie. She was very nice. She said she would talk to Jeff. She even called me back 3 times to let me know that they hadn't forgotten about me. The last time she asked for my vin number. She said that they needed it to order the part. I told her that I didn't want Francis and Sons to repair my car. I wanted the work done by a body shop, so the work would be guarenteed. She told me she would get back to me. That was 3 weeks ago and I have called to follow up but they won't return my calls. I even found a place reccomended by my mechanic that will give them a discount.
Since having had this done to my car, I have read several different reviews about other cars getting damaged by this car wash.
