I hired John Dale Wiley, attorney at Law, owner of Foreclosure Law LLC in the state of Missouri back in March of 2012 because I had spent 2 years trying to get a proper loan modification from HSBC Mortgage Services and all I managed to get was temp mods and ended up dual tracked. They sent me a notice of acceleration in March 2012 which is why I hired Mr. Wiley to fight them and save our home. I paid him $1000 that day (which he managed to cash within 2 hours of getting - went directly to my bank to do so!) and then an additional $2000 over the next few months as his fee. He was supposed to file suit to stop the foreclosure but never did because he claimed it would be better to let them foreclose and then sue for wrongful foreclosure something he also never did. In fact, Wiley didn't do much of anything in regards to our case. He didn't file anything with the court until February of 2014 when HSBC filed an unlawful detainer after gaining summary judgement of foreclosure because Wiley never put up a fight!

He then proceeded to do as little as possible. He answered their 40 page motion for summary judgement with a pathetic 5 page answer - which amounted to no answer at all because he included no evidence, no affidavits, no anything. So of course they played the game of continuances for a while, filed for a jury trial and was denied, filed for a trial de novo and was denied. This paper back and forth went on for another year. In 2015 he filed an appeal and we posted $500 bond (even though according to our contract, we were not supposed to be responsible for ANY fees unless he won the house free and clear). The case was dismissed without prejudice due to lack of appealable judgement but that didn't stop the other side from immediately having us served by the sheriff giving us 3 days to get out.

That was stopped due to lack of judgement and they finally filed an appropriate judgement and in 2016 Wiley started another appeal and this time we had to pay over $5000 in bond to the court - again in violation of our contract. He drug out getting the appeal filed and then received a dismissal notice due to failure to file the appeals brief on time. That's when I fired him, but I should have fired him

That's when I fired him, but I should have fired him sooner, when he refused to actually file suit to prevent the foreclosure. But he had already taken all our funds and refused to refund any of it even though he had literally done NOTHING in our case. There were many times I questioned him through out the years and his most common response is "I'm buying you time" and my response was that is NOT what I paid you to do. He refused to meet with me again after the first time - 4 years and I only saw him in person 1 time! Many times he refused to respond to emails or phone calls and he lied to me on many many occasions.

His lies started the day I hired him when he told me his name was Dale Wiley when in fact his name is John Dale Wiley and it matters because if you look up public records using just Dale you find very little but if you use his full name you find that he never bother to file his taxes for 2 years in a row (which is supposed to get you disbarred in Missouri but Wiley's daddy is a retired Stone County judge and managed to get him out of many bad situations - ie calling in favors)which made him financially compromised and easy prey to anyone offering him money. He also never bothers to pay his rent and switched offices repeatedly over the years because he would never pay his bills.

Don't take my word for it, google Missouri casenet and then do a litigant search using the name John Dale Wiley. Some of the listings are not him of course but most of them are. He has been sued and owes so much money it's truly pathetic. The thing is, most of the things he's been sued over border on criminal. He has committed so much fraud against so many people it's actually frightening. What's worse, people are actually afraid of him and so fear filing a complaint against him here or anywhere else, although I did learn that he was reprimanded by the Missouri Bar - but that is NOT public information, that came from another attorney who had knowledge of the sitution.

Now the issues got even worse as once I fired him I had to act pro se because he and HSBC had drained us dry from all the bond payments. What I found out was that he intentionally pursued the appeal in only one name and procedure requires all appellants to be listed seperately. Now this is just complete incompetence and it's fraudulent and misrepresented the case to the court. The problem of course, is that not being listed on the appeal means I have to file other motions to get myself on the appeal, wasting time we don't have. To top off that whole situation, he has continued to refuse to turn over all documentation in relation to the case so that I can continue to appeal. Talk about low life scum - he knows no one can write a brief without the trial case documents. I may have to subpoena him - ridiculous considering the law says he must turn them over as well as the contract we signed with him (that he of course has broke repeatedly).

This is just a small amount of the fraud this man has committed. The worst part is it's now obvious he NEVER had any intention of actually helping us fight the banks' fraud and keep our home. Even though I have all the documentation to prove their fraud at least 3 times over. And he did this not caring that we have children with disabilities who will be extremely affected by any change like this. Not to mention the fact that HSBC has made certain we can't even find a decent place to rent due to the way they have pursued this case and the fact that Dale Wiley is a con artist who essentially took our money and did little to nothing to actually help us save our home.

And just in case he comes on with a rebuttal(all the rebuttals I've seen on here are from him, regardless of the name, you can tell by the writing patterns, it's pathetic really)remember that this is a guy who is willing to take people's money and in the end leave them homeless. He probably won't bother at this point in time as he spends most of his days writing kindle books and doing podcasts(checkout his facebook page if you think I'm kidding). I'm not sure how he even has time to practice law - oh wait, he DOESN'T!
