I am an exotic dancer and for my protection and privacy, I use and give customers a fake name and email where they can contact me. I have a very loyal customer who emailed me a gift card for Footlocker and it was gifted to my fake name.

I placed an order online and paid the remaining balance with my card and had it sent to my boyfriend's address. Footlocker then called me to verify my information and they emailed me a couple days later saying they cancelled my order. I thought I might have given the wrong information by mistake so when they issued me another gift card, I placed another order online and sent it to my boyfriend's home and I paid the remaining with my debit card again. Footlocer called to verify my information and emailed me a couple days later saying they cancelled the order once again.

I called their customer service to resolve the issue and they said they were just going to refund my customer. A couple days later my customer came revealed that he has been refunded and that Footlocker told him my real name and my boyfriend's name to him stating that the billing name did not match the gift card name.

Now I have permanently lost business from this customer because Footlocker revealed my information. In addition, Footlocker has banned me from purchasing from any of their stores and when I called to ask why they said that it's because I owe them money.

Through this process, I have spent multiple hours on the phone with footlock, had my information given away, lost a customer and is banned from purchasing from them. The items I wanted were not available in stores and online was my only option. I have been given gift cards to 'sweetheart' or 'honey' before and has never had trouble placing an order.

I visited this store on 10/10/15 to purchase new shoes for a new job that I was working. This job was labor intensive and required me to be on my feet for an extended period of time. I went to this store and was helped by Jessica, she was a part time associate, I was very very clear about what my shoe needs were. I explained I needed non-slip for work due to the fact that we use liquids to clean with. She recommended Nike Air Max sneakers. They were on sale for $150 (marked down from $190). I explicitly asked her if the shoes were non-slip and she insisted they were and that they would be very comfortable. I explained to her that I would be working later this evening and if they did not meet my needs could they be returned, she said yes with no questions asked, as long as I had the receipt and the shoes were not damaged in any way. Later that night I worked my 4 hour shift at my job and subsquently fell (slipped) and hurt my back. I went to the store the very next day to return the shoes due to the fact that they did not meet my intended needs. I spoke with the store manager Vic (Victor) who was extremely disrespectful, demeaning, and overall just lacking of customer service skils. I informed him of the events that lead up to my ultimate return of the items and he said well sir Jessica is not the store manager I am and she should have not told you that information. I explained that as a representative of the store any promises she made should be upheld. He said he would not return or exchange the shoes and to basically have a nice day. Needless to say I will NOT be shopping at this store and I will discourage anyone from shopping there.
