In December 2018, we paid James (Jim) Parise $3031 cash to overhaul our Yamaha 150 boat engine. He returned the boat within a few days but the engine was not running properly so we returned the boat to him February 2019. He held the boat for almost one year and finally returned June 26, 2020 after a year of calls, texts, emails from us and various excuses by him.
The boat/trailer were left on a road next to our house without our knowledge and the driver left. The engine did not run. We also discovered the battery compartment was completely damaged and the steering mechanism which was supposed to have been repaired was not repaired. Mr. Parise promised in an email and over the phone that he would return our $3000 but has failed to return any money and or respond to our contacts.

He sold me on buying a $6,000 rebuilt 200hp outboard motor and gave me an old runout used 225hp motor.
The used motor was not rebuilt and not even recently serviced, Unadulterated Fraud.
The motor condition is POOR. low compression, old kinked, chafing, and leaking fuel lines, clogged and inop fuel pumps, injector wires broken, even the lower unit oil was black and old rusted wrong size spark plugs.
