They have a three day policy on that website so if you do not contact said freelancer in time they will keep your money. NO questions asked they will ignore you. I used a subcontractor from FIVERR (someone outside of the US) to design a book covers for three books. The first one was never done right and the last one went horribly wrong from simple wording to mixing up the title with a title and cover picture from another book. This was no fault of my own as the buyer didn't fulfill the gig requirements in the time allotted for the delivery, which prevented me from completing the order.
The only option was to deliver the order late, which is a TOS violation and would affect our ratings. Or mark the order as complete by sending a message to buyer asking for the gig requirements so we could complete the order, which seems like the most logical thing to do. So I did this and then there AUTOMATED system triggered a TOS violation and my account was automatically closed.
Does this really warrant closing my account permanently? Do they not realize we are the #1 rated seller in the category of music promotion and have worked with THOUSANDS of clients, all of which are highly satisfied and have left 5 star ratings. We've generated nearly $100,000 in sales, 40% of which Fiverr has kept as profit from seller/buyer fees. Do they really with to throw away such a lucrative business relationship? Perhaps they could demote me a level or give me a 24 hour ban (Even though I did nothing wrong) but to close my account is the craziest thing I've ever heard of!
I reached out to support via email (because they have NO WORKING PHONE NUMBER and are headquartered overseas) and received a very vague response saying there is nothing they can do and my account will be closed. They also said I cannot access the funds I've earned for 90 days (this in itself should be illegal if it isn't). Fiverr.com is a graphic design contractor marketplace that offers services online. I purchased a $30 service and Fiverr charged my credit card, along with a $2 Fiverr service fee. No problem as Fiverr makes it quite clear that a service charge will be placed on your order. The condition of the order was that my proejct will be completed in 3 business days. By the 4th business day, Fiverr emailed me and acknowledged that I could cancel my order since it was not completed as per agreement. I waited another 2 days and then cancelled as the Fiverr service contractor never replied to 3 of my emails for status updates.
Fiverr then credited my Fiverr account for $30. I made 3 attempts in emails to Fiverr customer service to simply credit my credit card back the $32 withdrawn - but Fiverr refuses to credit back. They will only issue a $30 creidt for future design work on Fiverr.com
This leaves me with no other alternative than to dispute my credit card charge with my bank. More paperwork, more time wasted to simply have a service provider do the honorable thing by returning full payment when they DO NOT provide contracted service. Hell, I recevied absolutely NO SERVICE.

Fiverr kept saying to get back together. I did a couple of times but it was obvious he was not capable of doing the work. Then thay claimed that I had failed to reject his work within 3 days. Found this scam artist on Fiverr when I was looking for help generating leads for a Solar company and a Merchant Processing company. He was on Fiverr.com doing MCA (merchant cash advance) and Solar leads. Stated he was an expert and could obtain immediate results. I paid a deposit of $150 for a sample of 3 leads and over the next 4 months, he delivered NOTHING except excuses. Promised 5x to refund the deposit and straight up just LIED.
I gave him many opportunities to either refund or repay with other, different leads and he agreed multiple times but never once followed through with anything legitimate. He tried to send me a list of "fresh buyers" in the merchant services arena, and the first 3 companies I contacted had all been out of business for anywhere from 2-4 years!

Fiverr personal "Milo" and "Hugo" refused me a refund. I did the work myself, lost $150 AND my client got the project late.
This is a small amount of money for me, but this has happend multiple times with Fiverr.com. The sellers on the site, some of them at least, seem to have found a loophole in Fiverr's policy. That is to say, you have only 13 days from the time an order it marked "complete" to even request a refund. After that, Fiverr stubbornely cites "policy" as a rationalization for not giving refunds.
In each case, their has been a VISIBLE TREAD of messages between me and the provider, where the provider themselves even admits that the work has not been delivered and that it's "on its way." But if the provider falls into total radio silence before delivering the work, and the 13 days is up, you're out of luck.
Even if the work is NEVER done, Fiverr won't read the thread, see that your work was not delivered and refund your money. Again, they cite "policy," which to them, seems more important than doing the right thing when someone gets ripped off on their website.
Thankfully, PayPal has a sense of ethics and honored the refund. However, Fiverr.com penalizes you for getting your money back this way by restricting your account.

I went on Fieverr to get some legal documents made up in order to file to the courts because I had exhausted all of my money on other lawyers. I hired a para-legal out of I believe Virginia and he took $300.00 to reasearch my case and then did nothing stopped responding too! After trying to get a hold of him he would ignore me.
They have a three day policy on that website so if you do not contact said freelancer in time they will keep your money. NO questions asked they will ignore you. Then I hired Paralegal1946 and told him what I needed. I figured I just had one bad experience. After taking $400.00 of my money he started ignoring me.
I complained to customer service and he reluctantly started helping me. He charged me another $2000.00 and claimed he was going to be my lawyer and such at least virtually giving me advice and such along my journey.
He wrote the documents but made it look like I was trying to just get money and not really addressing the issue of getting my mother out of the nursing home (this is what I've determined after the fact). I used a subcontractor from FIVERR (someone outside of the US) to design a book covers for three books. The first one was never done right and the last one went horribly wrong from simple wording to mixing up the title with a title and cover picture from another book. It took over a week when it should have been done in two or three days. This is the second time this has happened (with another subcontractor) however they did do a very good job on book number 2.

I wanted to purchase orders from these two consumers on this service known as helpmagic and mothergods. I’m not a firm believer of this type of service, but I was very curious of what they claimed to do.
As I purchased these orders, I was told that it would take time (more specifically a month,) and this would work. A month goes by this doesn’t work, I contact both parties and then I was told to wait it will work. Now it’s a year and no progress at all.
Now I’m trying to find contact them and they are refusing to answer me back, but If they do it’s always “Please wait” or “Just wait ok.”

I was eternally grateful for such a wonderful platform - until I realized how Fiverr really works. A few days ago, out of the clear blue with no warnings, my top rated seller account that I've built for over 3 years was suspended, for no clear reason. They alleged I violated there TOS by mis-delivering ONE ORDER. This was no fault of my own as the buyer didn't fulfill the gig requirements in the time allotted for the delivery, which prevented me from completing the order.
The only option was to deliver the order late, which is a TOS violation and would affect our ratings. Or mark the order as complete by sending a message to buyer asking for the gig requirements so we could complete the order, which seems like the most logical thing to do. So I did this and then there AUTOMATED system triggered a TOS violation and my account was automatically closed.
Does this really warrant closing my account permanently? Do they not realize we are the #1 rated seller in the category of music promotion and have worked with THOUSANDS of clients, all of which are highly satisfied and have left 5 star ratings. We've generated nearly $100,000 in sales, 40% of which Fiverr has kept as profit from seller/buyer fees. Do they really with to throw away such a lucrative business relationship? Perhaps they could demote me a level or give me a 24 hour ban (Even though I did nothing wrong) but to close my account is the craziest thing I've ever heard of!
I reached out to support via email (because they have NO WORKING PHONE NUMBER and are headquartered overseas) and received a very vague response saying there is nothing they can do and my account will be closed. They also said I cannot access the funds I've earned for 90 days (this in itself should be illegal if it isn't). I went as far as reaching out to @fiverr on social media as well as the CEO's Micha Kaufman @michakaufman and @Shai Wininger to no avail. How can a company operate like this? Now I understand why they are rated F with the Better Business Bureau and have thousands of complaints online.

Fiverr.com is a graphic design contractor marketplace that offers services online. I purchased a $30 service and Fiverr charged my credit card, along with a $2 Fiverr service fee. No problem as Fiverr makes it quite clear that a service charge will be placed on your order. The condition of the order was that my proejct will be completed in 3 business days. By the 4th business day, Fiverr emailed me and acknowledged that I could cancel my order since it was not completed as per agreement. I waited another 2 days and then cancelled as the Fiverr service contractor never replied to 3 of my emails for status updates.
Fiverr then credited my Fiverr account for $30. I made 3 attempts in emails to Fiverr customer service to simply credit my credit card back the $32 withdrawn - but Fiverr refuses to credit back. They will only issue a $30 creidt for future design work on Fiverr.com
This leaves me with no other alternative than to dispute my credit card charge with my bank. More paperwork, more time wasted to simply have a service provider do the honorable thing by returning full payment when they DO NOT provide contracted service. Hell, I recevied absolutely NO SERVICE.

He was supposed to provide an 8-page website for Wordapress with a landing page, using MailChimp and ecommerce capability using WooCommerce. We wnet back and forth for a couple of weeks. Everything was inappropriate and embarrassing. I sent him some graphics as an idea of what I was looking for and 3 pages of text that I wanted to use. In return I got 3 pages which used one of the graphics and 2 short sentences, 1 line of text that I had sent. I wonder how he did that as he claimed I sent him no text. There was a page for a blog that I had said I didn't need. It didn't work. A contact page that also failed to function and a home page with the graphic and text I described.. No landing page. No cart. No ecommerce functionality. I asked for a refund but they had already paaid him several days before he dolivered anything. Also, he put that garbage live on my site without my knowledge. Fiverr kept saying to get back together. I did a couple of times but it was obvious he was not capable of doing the work. Then thay claimed that I had failed to reject his work within 3 days. I have the correspondense proving I rejected it within a couple of hours. Thhey Lie. They refuse to refund my money. They refuse to put me together with someone who can do the work. Found this scam artist on Fiverr when I was looking for help generating leads for a Solar company and a Merchant Processing company. He was on Fiverr.com doing MCA (merchant cash advance) and Solar leads. Stated he was an expert and could obtain immediate results. I paid a deposit of $150 for a sample of 3 leads and over the next 4 months, he delivered NOTHING except excuses. Promised 5x to refund the deposit and straight up just LIED.
I gave him many opportunities to either refund or repay with other, different leads and he agreed multiple times but never once followed through with anything legitimate. He tried to send me a list of "fresh buyers" in the merchant services arena, and the first 3 companies I contacted had all been out of business for anywhere from 2-4 years!
My money is gone but I want to prevent other innocent people from falling into his trap and LIES.

I don't think Fiverr is really the problem. If you know their protocol for releasing payment, then these things can be avoided. I had never had a problem until this Sai Santosh rippoff.

I paid the provider $150 for a project. She marked the order "complete" on day one. After two weeks of promising to deliver the work, she missed the deadline and become 100% unresponsive. Fiverr personal "Milo" and "Hugo" refused me a refund. I did the work myself, lost $150 AND my client got the project late.
This is a small amount of money for me, but this has happend multiple times with Fiverr.com. The sellers on the site, some of them at least, seem to have found a loophole in Fiverr's policy. That is to say, you have only 13 days from the time an order it marked "complete" to even request a refund. After that, Fiverr stubbornely cites "policy" as a rationalization for not giving refunds.
In each case, their has been a VISIBLE TREAD of messages between me and the provider, where the provider themselves even admits that the work has not been delivered and that it's "on its way." But if the provider falls into total radio silence before delivering the work, and the 13 days is up, you're out of luck.
Even if the work is NEVER done, Fiverr won't read the thread, see that your work was not delivered and refund your money. Again, they cite "policy," which to them, seems more important than doing the right thing when someone gets ripped off on their website.
Thankfully, PayPal has a sense of ethics and honored the refund. However, Fiverr.com penalizes you for getting your money back this way by restricting your account.
