I met this lawyer through a FAMILY friend of mine that I TRUSTED WITH MY LIFE because HE 'WAS' a client of AMY SUSSMAN'S FATHER WHO PAST AWAY. I Met Amy Sussman reg a real estate matter on 7/24/17. She agreed to take on my case but would require a $5000 retainer. I EXPLAINED I did not have the money but could send her installments of $1,000 until I reached the $ 5000 retainer and since there was 'nothing' going on ( no Court proceedings in my case, no demands or no court date, it was AGREED verbally that upon any action taken by the Bank who was doing wring by me, we would sit and 'wait'. This LAWYER AMY SUSSMAN NEVER*** sent any corrspondence , made NO calls to the other side on my behalf and after 5 MONTHS of pleading for a RETAINER AGREEMENT, with NO RESPONSE from my numerous request to AMY SUSSMAN she kept coming up with excuses, and then on 11/8/17 AMY SUSSMAN APOLOGIZED AND ASSURED ME SHE WOULD RESPOND Quickly if needed and PROMISED to send me the retainer agreement, since I was giving this woman thousand s of dollars monthly.
FINALLY on 12/7/17 she said she would call, SHE NEVER did, on 12/11/17 she said she was in the Hospital for passing out in her car and told me if she MAY possibly suffer from dimensia ... the list goes ON AND ON. I NEVER received any response there after, and decided to STOP sending any more payments as I had given her a post dated check for 1/1/18, since I NEVER received any written agreement, gave this AMY SUSSMAN CASH on 7/24/17 and checks there after, I decided i had enough. I then continously asked for my files and my money given her since she did not do ***NO WORK** on my behalf, to NOW Find out AMY SUSSMAN is attempting to KEEP my money saying she is charging me for texts and EMAILS that I sent her!!! and papers forwarded via email from another attorney which she NEVER DID NO WORK ON MY BEHALF. Now I am forced to SUE her for my money and damages. STAY AWAY FROM HER...I AM GOING PUBLIC AND TAKING EVERY LEGAL REMEDY OUT THERE TO STOP THIS THIEF. STAY AWAY FROM HER AND THE FIRM, I CALLED THERE AND WAS REFUSED THE SECRETARY'S NAME WHO WOULD NOT TAKE A MESSAGE.
