I hired "Expert Exteriors" Scott Kun to do a roof repair. He showed up WITH HIS WIFE GEMA in a minivan on life support that looks like they live in it. They gave a low estimate to get the job, then made excuses for why they could not complete any work! They did nothing but beg for more money the entire time they were here. I got a weird feeling Gema came on the job to ransack my house for cash while Scott kept me distracted. I had to keep my eyes on them the whole time they were here.
They are KNOWN THIEVES in the Pittsburgh to Lower Burrell area, see pics. This is not a defamatory statement and I am not bashing them. A quick google search reveals their history of scamming property owners in their time of need and also their rap sheets which include THEFT. They are very opportunistic and PREY on vulnerable property owners. They frequent Craigslist and other home improvement apps for jobs. Scott does all the talking and sounds very nice on the phone to gain your trust and get your address. Then the both of them showed up (late of course) and the games began.
They constantly change their business name after all of the bad reviews and lawsuits catch up to them. They have multiple judgments and that speaks volumes about the quality of work they do. They had NO INTENTION of completing the job they were hired for and just wanted to shake me down for money for made up issues. They became very aggressive when I refused to give them anymore money and asked them to leave. I also had to hire someone else to fix their damage and clean up their mess. They are not registered, nor insured as they claim. I wish I did some research BEFORE I encountered these two, but no worries! I have done it for everyone and am posting it here for all to see. Take my word for it and DO NOT allow these CRIMINALS on your property.
