"Highly Respected" Dirk Craen with the phony PhD Title - LOL°!!!

"Highly Respected" Dirk Craen with the phony PhD Title - LOL

--

Good afternoon,

I've been reading all kinds of issues about EU. Although I'm not into convincing people to study (or not to study at EU), one 'issue' was rather interesting: one of the respondents wondered how dr. Craen got his doctorate... For as far as I can see, nobody had the answer. Here it is.... By the end of the nineties EU worked 'closely' together with the University of Dallas in the USA. The dean (at that time) was dr. Paula-Ann Hughes. She issued a so called 'doctor honoris causa' (in Dutch it is 'ere doctoraat and in English it is a honorary doctorate degree) to Dirk Craen. Although Craen has a good sense of doing business (and window dressing), he did not do any doctorate studies. The doctor honoris causa was awarded for all of his contributions to academic development in education . ----------

Do NOT waste your time and money with the "European University" (currently known as "E U Business School")

Do NOT waste your time and money with these schools such as the European University, University of Montreux MSB, Montreux School of Business, all of these institutions are not at all real universities but institutions that make money by attracting innocent international students that are not aware of the dishonesty behind these schools. That is why in 2015, a new law in Switzerland will be put in place and these school will close down as they don’t abide with rules and regulations of the Swiss Educational system. The founders of these schools are not Swiss but foreigners that don’t even have a University Degree, you can check this fact in the websites of these Schools. But also be aware that all the information in their websites are a pack of lies! If you would like to do a masters or a bachelors do it in a public university, private universities in Europe are all there only for making money and they don’t have Official Recognition for their Degrees, so your time and money will be wasted.

It is a well known and documented fact that especially the term MBA is not protected in Switzerland, which is rather unusual. A lot of people have abused this gap and set up private schools selling you some worthless degree. This is so common that a German minister had an open warning to prospective German students that carrying a non-accepted masters "title" by Swiss private schools is a crime in the EU.

Simply put:

- if nobody has ever heard of your school

- if the website is full of Swiss flags and mountain pictures

- if the school advertises "Swiss quality" instead of measurable accreditations

you are most likely going to waste your time and money. Seriously, a good school has deadlines. Yes, it is June and you are too feckin late for this years intake.

It really is common sense and if you honestly really believe that getting a private MBA title you are not allowed to carry in the EU and that does not ad any worth to your CV but rather discredits you... go ahead.

Worthless Degree from "European University" ("E U Business School")

I went to this place. My parents not so rich. My father has small business. Not much, just little. We saved money for education in europe. Heard about european university - great university founded in belgium. At first everything looks OK. But then: classes so dumb. Education not good. The promises - all lies. The prestige - all lies. Degree worth nothing! Now we have no money and I am on scholatship at real school, not european university. But now I can no longer afford study at prestige ivy league school because of money saved wasted for worthless degree from european university. My deam gone!!

European University (E U Business School) - Biggest Mistake of my Life

01-23-2013 12:10 PM #78

anabele

Hello dear all,

i studied in European University Barcelona for my bachelor and European university Geneva for my masters... Biggest mistake of my life... I wanted to continue my studies in London, only two universities were ready to enroll me, and ATTENTION they wanted me to study for two years for the same degree i obtained in EU and than continue with other degrees. Ive also received a confirmation that European Uni is not recognized in England.

Furthermore i wanted to try something else and decided to apply to Webster... Guess what, a private american university denied my enrollment. They said i can only start over as freshman, because European University degree is not recognized by american instituitions.

I adressed this question to administration of European University Geneva, after a while they just started ignoring my letters.

Plus i dont know if this issue was adressed in this forum (havent had the chance to read all). European university Barcelona had several law cases and probems... and there used to be a European University Lisbon, which just closed.... (i wonder why)

So, i highly recommend, to check for a different Uni.

Peace
