Scam

This company and it partners are just horrible human being who enjoy making others suffer. I was contact a year ago just a few month after graduation by a women on the phone with the company TitanPrep Inc. She told me that they would help me with my student loan. $150 upfront and $49 a month to a Equitable Acceptance Corporation. I assumed that the money was going on my student loan but it was going on the corporation. When I questioned them they claimed that I was paying for the service but once I read through the reviews from people, I realized that I was one of the people whom they scammed. Through the reading if I was going canceled the payment to Equitable Acceptance Corporation they would destroy my credit scores. When I asked for cancellation they send me a contract that I signed via the phone and was never given the opportunity to read through( this is my fault) but they shouldn’t have been honest with me. Now I am paying for a loan that I never needed to pay. YOU DON’T NEED SOME COMPANY TO HELP WITH YOUR STUDENT LOANS.....you can do it for free.

They contacted me a year back and it all seemed legit, I googled them. Apparently not as well. After going throught paperowork and siging they gave me the good news that I was approved of loan forgivness ($15,000) and what I had to pay them was $1,500. It's been a year! $50 monthy payments, with $30 monthly increase to the $1,500. Nothing has been paid from my student loans, in fact, apparently I'm behind a few months. A whole year giving these scamers money. Now they wont stop calling me to "update information" only now they call as simple repayment team. I need help! How can I get out of this and get my money back!!?

This is a second company through a another company that charges you $1500 to lower the payments of your student loan debt - which has not happened.......they use another company who tries to get your amount lower or put you in a different program - and no response from them either. They requested last two paychecks and tax forms - then was suppose to call and discuss what options I have - they have not - and this was months ago. I recently heard that Navient is now AES but the company has not informed me of that - they are taking monthly payments on top of my student loans.

I was contacted by a company, that was not equitable acceptance and was told that I could consolidate my student loans and after I made so many payments I would be clear and free of my debt, and that this was part of the New Student Loan debt relief program. I was asked to make a down payment by check only ( I should have known then). I made my down payment and then I would begin making my monthly payments. Next thing you know I get an email from equitable acceptance talking about my checked bounced and that I owe them a payment. So I call and asked, How do I owe you? We have never done business. They go through the spill of how they bought my debt relief from another company and now I owe them. But in the meantime My student loans are contacting me saying I'm passed due. So its all a scam. And the worse part is they are on my credit report. They added charges for a bounced check that I didn't even write them. I had to pay my bank for them trying to take money out that I didn't have. And its just a horrible situation. Which should be illegal. Scamming people making them believe that they are taking care of their business and paying off their student loans. Everyone who works there should be ashamed of themselves.

I recieved a call from Great Lakes student loan service today. They informed me that my income driven repayment plan for 0 down and 0 payments ended in October. I was very confused because I had been paying $49 every month to equitable acceptance and had recieved nothing stating this. She asked me if I had been recieving their emails. I told her no. The email she gave me was only partially correct.

Im starting to believe that Equitable acceptance had given Great lakes a false email to send information so I would not see it. I am scared to think of what other shady things they have done to keep me from figuring out their scam. I just googled their company and found some disturbing information on this company.

When I checked credit karma for my credit score my account shows that a credit card under the name "Equitable Acceptance" and it seems that the $49 payment I have been making toward Equitable every month was actually the minimum amount paid toward this credit card. The balance is $810 and the limit says 1,277 even though I have paid over $600 in monthly payments. The report also showed that my student loans are actually going up. What am I supposed to do to clear this up and get my money back.

I enrolled in a government student loan forgiveness program earlier this year, but could not remember their name. They did not start wanting to take money out of account till later in the year. My mother died earlier in the year and when I tried to contact the original number back that I had talked to them originally it was not them but just a person. That set off a red flag to me and I decided to go through my school for the student debt forgiveness. A couple of months ago they contacted me and I talked to a guy called oscar and told them that I went another route and was cancelling, he told me that I could not cancel and that there would be a fee and hits on credit score. I paid to have a stop put at the bank so they cannot take the money out but they are calling and emailing insisting on still wanting to take the money out. I emailed back and told them that I have a right to cancel if I want and do not appreciate being harrassed. Oscar sent and email back and said that they were not harrassing and that I could get a lawyer if I wanted.

This intity lied to me to get my money. They told me they where a government organization and would buy my student loans and I would make payments to the and my student loans would be paid off in 4 years. The only promise they kept was they took my money. I realized this when I got a call today from FedLoans saying I was $3,000 behind on my student loans. I feel like an idiot and can not believe I fell for this, in hind sight, it is so clear to me. Hope it is not to late to repair my credit. I will be persuing this with an attorney and sounds like alot more people will also.

I was told when I signed up with them that they would help me consolidate my students loans at a lower rate. At the time I was making my payment to Direct Student Loans. I have been paying alomost a year and recently reviewed my account and notice that the monthly payments are not going towards the consolidation but towards interest. During our intial first contact it was not explained that half of my monthly payments would cover the interest and not go towards the principal.

I have tried to contact them over the last week and have had issues reaching a live representative, making me question even more have I been riped off.

I was contacted by equitable acceptance in June of 2016 for student loan forgiveness program. I still get letters from my old student loan company saying I owe them and equitable was supposed to buy out my loan and i would pay half. I just went to check my credit report to find out it's still on my credit. I paid the first payment of $150 in July of 2016 and on the 5th of every month they take $49 out of my bank account for my monthly fee. My balance has not gone down, its still on my credit and my old loan company is only increasing my overall balance. I still have all the electronic paperwork they sent me, have every text message and I can easily get a bank statement to prove what they take every minth. I feel I'm being ripped off and this breaks my heart because I've been trying so hard to boost my credit to buy a home for my family. Please help me

They call you and tell you they can get you into a student loan forgiveness program. Just pay 150.00 and 49.00 a month for 3 years. When it's really not true! Then they go on your credit report! Rip offs! I can't get them off now.
