We ordered 3 books for $130 over a year ago and never received them. Company will not refund our money.

A representative from Entrepreneurs Sales knocked on my front door on July 29, 2014. He explained that his company gives young people who have made mistakes an opportunity to get their life back on track and earn some income. They sell magazine subscriptions and books. While the prices seemed expensive, we felt bad for the young man and agreed to purchase 3 books totaling $130 and wrote him a check payable to Entrepreneurs Sales. Over a year later, we still have not received the books. I called and emailed the company 5 times in June 2015 any they have not taken any action. The person answering the phone said she took my information (receipt number, date of sale, and books ordered) and gave it to the owner to decide if she would like to give us a refund.

We also filed complaints with the Indiana Attorney General and the Better Business Bureau. Both organizations contacted Enterpreneurs Sales. On July 10, 2015 the owner, Lameeltra Wheeler, sent them an apology, stated that our order would be cancelled, and promised to send us a refund check. NONE OF THIS HAS HAPPENED.

I have called Entrepreneurs Sales almost every week since August and, if anyone picks up the phone, I am told that no one has the authority to issue a refund check except for Lameeltra Wheeler and that she is "on the road with the sales team." Clearly, she has no intention of ever refunding our money nor the countless other families who have been victimized by her scam.

Sucker for sad stories...

WOW! SO WISHED I would have read/researched Entrepreneurs Sales before falling into their trap/scam! Sadly, my story is like everyone else's... My gut told me not to give the money but his 'want to do better in my life' story was certainly wishful thinking on my part! I can say one thing... the young people going door to door are good at what they do (banking on the sympathy of other suckers like me!) This is one time I wish my husband would have been there answering the door that day and not me!

Complaint

Might be worth filing a complaint with the Indiana Attorney Generals Office.

On January 7, 1017 a very nicely dressed young man rang my doorbell. He said he was from a poorer neighborhood and working hard to "better himself." He was selling books and magazines. I ordered two books from him to be sent to a church as a memorial from a friend that had just passed away.

Thirty-six hours later I was at the most office mailing a Notice of Cancellation with a receipt from the post office. My check was cashed 2 days later and my Notice of Cancellation was delivered the next day. I waited 4 months for my refund check. It never came. I then started calling. I called 7 times and left a message but never got a return call. On May 19, I sent another registered letter and asked when I was going to receive my refund. That was 4 weeks ago. I have heard nothing from them and it has been over 5 months.

Gulible

Same sad story pitch got my wife to pay $400.00 for, at best, $80 worth of "Cleaning Solutions". Classic door to door scam, talk till you sell. My wife is still convinced she helped the guy. Who she helped is Lameeltra Wheeler the CEO is this sleazy, but not illegal, company. The only door to door sales worth listening to are kids raising money for school, scouts, baseball, etc.....

ON 11/4/16, I was in a gas station and was approached by Mr. Peterson. I listened to his tale of how he wanted to better himself, make a living, and not go to jail like all his friends. He didn't want to become a knucklehead. He had a brochure and receipt book - I bought one book - "Treasruy of Bible Stories" for $50 plus $15 Process & Handling. I called on multiple occasions - and actually got an email response once. Now - nothing! And, no book. This group is a total rip-off. It's sad, because legitimate causes (schools, etc.) are impacted by people not trusting them because of groups like this.

No magazine

One night about 9 PM there was a knock at our door. A young woman was selling magazines. She told of some time in jail from bad decisions and overcoming a drug addiction. She was getting her life back together and she was very thankful to Jesus for His daily help. She needed just one more magazine sale to make her goal and it would help her so much. I found a woodworking magazine I did not really want and it was rather over-priced. I paid $50 cash for a one-year subscription. She thanked me profusely and gave me a receipt to use if the magazine did not come for any reason. When the twelve weeks for processing had elapsed we were out of state for an extended time. There was no magazine when we returned. I sent an e-mail to the company and got a response in a few days. My magazine had been sent to the wrong zip code and returned. That seemed really odd. I waited another twelve weeks. There was still no magazine. I wrote twice again, but got no responses. Not long after, I found this page.

No magazine

Six weeks after posting the above review ("No magazine") I received a magazine. I will try to report back if the other eleven come. My opinion of the company has risen a bit.

I don't remember the name of the guy who was selling magazines, but I bought two overpriced magazines so the guy could better himself after hearing his long sob story. I did not want to buy magazines, but I decided I should try and help this guy.

I never received the magazines. The company does not return phone calls. I will never make that mistake again! This company is a total ripoff!

No fulfillment

One of the company's 'participants' came to my door on 5/9/2016 with tales of woe, and out of empathy I purchased a children's book for $55. After waiting the specified '120 days' for delivery I contacted the company number on the receipt multiple times. No one ever answered and no message left was ever returned.

The salesperson is classified by the company invoice as an 'independent contractor' but had no personal business license. The invoice indicates that no refunds will be given past a 3-day cancellation period.

I thought i purchased 2 magazines from a "student" that was to start in March. It is June and I have called and faxed to

no avail. I see by the reports I am not the only one who spent $95.00. I want to follow through on this company and put them out of business. I am going to file fraud charges with my bank and have them see if they can track these people do

Do not ever purchase anything from them. They are all from prison and never plan on giving you anything. This man Arthur Turney agent number 132 . He called himself Art. I gave him to help him out. I even gave him and extra 20 00 to help him out. Along with the 400 00 dollars. I gave him 200 00 and he took another 200 00 from me. He goes bY Arther. He apparently said they stay at a hotel in Riverdale or Washington Terrace. He said he was from Kentucky and he had the accent. He lived with a bunch of guys in a hotel and the boss even bought herself a Porche. Something is funny here. I am send a resend tomorrow which will be my 3 days. I will over night mail it certified. I doubt I will ever here a thing. I feel so stupid. He said he bot busted for Heroin and had spend 8 years in perison. I felt sorry for him. He said his step dad was a cop. He also siad he had a twin brother. They all live in a hotel in the area. They switch terratories. They have been in this area for awhile. I will contact the Layton police tomorrow to warn them.

Entrepreneurs Sales, a salesman came to my door. I orderd 8 issues of a magazine and wrote a check for $85 dollars. He was very friendly and I thought I'd help him make a pay check. I ordered my magazines in November 2015 and it is now May 2016 and I have gotten nothing from this company. I had contacted then twice and gotten an email back from a women named Jennifer saying that they would be sent soon.

All I wanted was a FULL refund and it doens't look like I will get it. They are VERY unhelpful and just take your money. They give you nothing in return. It's a crap company and I'm very angry/frustrated with them. DO NOT BUY A MAGAZINE FROM THIS COMPANY EVER!!!!!! You're better off giving your money to charity so that it goes towards something good instead of some low life company who just takes your money and doesn't give you anything in return.

Entrepreneurs Sales Review

I would love to give this company NO stars. I ordered 8 magazines and wrote a check for $85 and never received anything! They are very unhelpful and unprofessional. They just take your money and don't give you anything in return, yet they are not a charity. You are better off flushing your money down a toilet in hopes that someone in need gets your money. They are a crap company! I only wanted my money back or a damn magazine and I got nothing.

She needs to go to jail

Her team travels around the states living in low budget hotels and going door to door selling magazines they don’t have. She doesn’t own a company that even makes magazine. She runs the business out of a motel and uses text now numbers. Her team is very rude! Including her! Ghetto at it’s finest! They dress nice to make you think they are good people but all they are doing is scamming you out of your money for a product you never get! They are wanted by a few states for questioning. She is trash!!! Worthless trash!!

they don't teach business skills. They teach how to con people.

A very nice woman appeared at my door stating she was an entrepreneur, looking to start a restaurant business. She was learning how to be a better business owner through Entrepreneurs Sales, and using her training to sell books for schools. For supporting books for schools, I would receive a book of choice. I made the contribution to supply books to schools in October 2018. I was suppose to receive 2 books shortly after. I didn't. I kept calling and had to leave a message. Left numerous messages and never got a return call. I finally got a hold of someone in January and was told the books were back ordered and I should receive the books by 2/23/19. Well, I didn't receive anything. I called everyday within the hours of operation and always received the same recorded message to leave a message. I left messages and never got a return call. I sent a number of emails of inquiry and never received a reply. This company is horrible at running a business. I don't know how they are teaching people how to run a business when they can't run their own. I'm reporting them to Indiana AG as a scam/fraud company. They are probably charging the door to door sales people money for the training, and teaching them nothing but how to scam people.
