I noticed on my statement that if you do not payoff your loan in full at the end of one year no interest program the remaining payments are interest only and they do not give you an option to pay additional principal payment. This is completely deceiving and no honest at all!

I took a $3,000 loan from enerbank to finance interior painting on my home. Their statements are confusing, you cannot tell when your next payment is due, there is no current payoff amount. I tried to access my account on their website, i was continually blocked with "phone must be a 10 digit mobile number", even though i provided my 10-digit mobile phone number. I hate calling in and answering all the "identification" questions, so i sent an e-mail as offered on the website. After more than a week and three attempts to get my payoff amount, i have been completely ignored by enerbank. I am planning to report them to the fdic and bbb.

charges way to much

Not to happy with this company at all! it only took us 2 payments to learn from it first payment 114.98 for Jan 2018, Feb 2018 paid 300 to bring it down even quicker lol that was a big joke out of that 300 payment only $ 21.39 went toward principle. so much for thinking to pay down quicker wasn't true for us so i did next best thing got another loan from our real bank paid there ass off at 21.39 payment per month on a 8,436 loan would take way to long if ever to pay it off , means my first payment of the 114.98 paid 0 toward principle people like this likes to take your money were you can never get out of debt. we was giving a payoff balance today that was paid there better not be another bill sent to us. so next time think first and always check your bill closely or you will still owe way after your dead and gone and when your making a payment it never shows you your new balance due? my statement balance said one thing and i called to get a payoff balance and it was even higher than the statement for this month stated wow how can they charge that much interest?

My husband and I went to Homedepot in Middleburg Florida looking for an AC unit. They refered us to enerbank via sales rep. We went over the contract when the rep came to our house, they ran both our SSN for CREDIT. Approved and we signed the contract. Installed about 3 days later. (Do not even know who installed just 2 juys in a box truck First Warning Sign). WITHIN 8 WEEKS of getting the unit, it started having problems. We called the number as on the "service warrenty" and requested service, customer rep told us to make a payment and they would schedule it.

We made a SECOND payment, they sent a tech out. He himed and hawed over it, then advised it was our thermostate inside that was causing the issue. ( They installed it with the unit). Charged us $150 service call and another 100 for the thermostate. They refused to fix unless we pre-paid them, then we could turn the receipt over and that enerbank would reimburse off our next bill. We did as directed, called enerbank bank and the rep laughed at us, i got a "manager" who advised we didnt use who they approved- THEY SENT THIS PERSON TO US.

Calls, letters, all to no avail. Within 2 years we had paid almost as much in repairs as we did purchse. I stopped paying them. They installer WIRED IT COMPLETEY WRONG. We havnt had ac since 2022 when it Blew breakers. We cant afford a suit, we are just trying to live. This is a horrible company - DO NOT USE THEM. Not to mention you can never see anything on an account nd the "statements" sent were very vauge.

I have paid 4k on a 10k loan. Currently my balance is 9,277. This loan agency is a rip-off!

We financed a new air conditioner through Enerbank and had no payments for a year .

We were told that after a year the interest rate would be somewhere around 16% but we were led to believe that it would be accrued monthly. When we started getting the bill a year later we found out that our monthly payment of $189 was going toward the interest only, so we started paying $300 a month.

Every bill that we get shows NOTHING coming off of the principal. We have been making payments for over a year now adnd our balance is the exact same as it was when we started paying on it.

They are charging us 16.72% DAILY! I have emailed them to get an explanation and they don't want to give me an answer on my email, they want me to call them. When I call, I can never get through to anyone that can explain it to me.

Enerbank is deceptive, and gets away with it due to: 1. Lack of contact information on their part, as well as the limited work hours they accept calls (not to mention the long hold times). 2. Enerbank does not send out a monthly statement, or the CONTRACT which is initiated by phone via the Contractor. (In my case, initial contact made on February 29, 2016. Second half of installation initiated on July 26, 2017) 3. Agents are NOT on the same page- one quotes something different than the previous agent. (When I called Enerbank for the pay-off amount, I was told there was a $0. Balance due. I knew this was inaccurate because I specifically left a nominal amount due ($187.00 ) I wanted to add the second half of Security Screens I had intended to have specially made and installed. 4. Enerbank never sent a hard copy of our Contract. I was advised I had a 1 yr. same as cash, and was making huge payments to get 0%interest, As well as getting the remaining Screen Masters installed. 5. Since Enerbank was not willing to accept the same terms as before (1 yr. same as cash) I used another financial source. 3 months later I suddenly get a call from their “collections dept” stating I owe $515.00!! Enerbank’s failure to dispense accurate information, allowed for them to tack on the interest charges. 6. I immediately paid off the amount they said I owed ($545.59) because allegedly my account was 28 days late, and would be reported to credit agencies- 7. Not only did Enerbank rip-me off for the Interest, but then they immediately reported it to the credit bureaus, which affected my credit score, hurting my ability to refinance my home. 8. Enerbank REFUSED to send a letter to my mortgage company, I am able to prove the debt is satisfied, and what’s worst is Enerbank is destroying My credit score. 720 last month. 635 this month. 9. Does anybody else smell a class action suit ?

The statement read when payment due and the amount due. The truth is not what's printed. I asked for an explanation but could not get a reasonable answer; everyone said the same answer. I went up (so they said) three levels and they all thought that i was a dummy. No one could explain why the due date and amount due are not truthfull to the common man, only to the bank. After reaching the supers' super and they all said the same in different words which equated to really nothing. I gave up and decided to pay-off and go ASAP. 2017-08-29 15:04:20 EST

Company hides critical loan data from consumer. Statement doesn't show interest rates or amount paid on loan and dates of payments. There is no online statement. Company relies on contemporaneous notes, instead of recorded conversations for loan agreements. I would be interested in joining a class action lawsuit against Enerbank USA

I absolutely cannot believe this, Enerbank is flat out the most unethical company I have ever seen. I have an elderly mother whom I have had to start handling her finances. 6 years ago her furnace broke during the winter and she had to finance a new unit. She obtained financing through Enerbank. Her original loan amount was $5300.00. She has never once received a statement from them, they just auto deduct 75.00 a month from her bank account. I have been trying to help her refinance her house and have had some issues with her credit. Upon reviewing her credit I came across this loan. I asked her how she has only managed to pay around 1000.00 (she has made every payment) of a 5000.00 loan in 6 years. She had no idea, she didn't even know how to contact the company, as they have never sent her a statement and she does not use a computer. I call Ennerbank to get to the bottom of this and find out they are charging her over 4000.00 in interest alone and come to find out she will not even have this loan paid off until 2020, that’s almost 12 years for a 5000.00 loan. This is seriously the worst case of scamming a senior I have ever seen. It’s no wonder how they are making a quarterly profit of 3 million steeling from people like this.

Our plumber told me we needed new piping for our home, because there was a leak under the slab in the kitchen. They wrote up a contract using Enerbank USA. Enerbank sent a coupon book, and I have been paying them off thru bill pay at my bank. I have tried to contact a representative at Enerbank and it is very difficult. I called once asking for the pay off balance for the final check, and the lady just gave me a balance that was 2 months more than expected. I have been paying double the monthly fee to pay this bill off as soon as I could afford it. I still don't know how much longer they will say I will have to pay. They have never contacted me at all, except to send out another coupon book. I will be sending my last payment (I hope). I do not know what my balance is. All I have is the coupon book, and the only thing I can do is add up how much I have paid so far. I sure hope I end this transaction with the best of conditions. I would say BEWARE to other customers.
