I purchased several items from Encore Autographs in April of 2016. I was assured by the business owner that these items were authentic and came with certificate of authenticity, he even gave me lengthy story as to how autographs were obtained.
I searched Better Business Bureau for any complaints filed before purchase and there were none. I framed these items and listed them for sale. To my surprise I was directly contacted by the alleged signer only to be told that they were forgeries.
I contacted the seller numerous times and did not recieve a reply, left messages on phone and third attempt at calling my number was blocked. I then contacted my bank and began a dispute, they found in my favor.
Today I was paying bills and noticed several charges on my credit card that were unauthorized in the amount of $3,600.00 I contacted bank immediately and found out the charges were made by Encore Autographs. I was told by bank to contact BBB and submit a police report.
Avoid this company at all costs and if you have dealt with them in the past check your payment method tosee if they ran any additional charges agaist you.
