Elite Matchmaking Reviews

  • Apr 3, 2020

My name is Victoria T. I am a busy professional and i decided to employ elitematchmaking company to help me find a partner. Just to find (very unfortunately for myself) that this company, which is run by Roni Grossman (email [email protected]) is actually running some kind of con operation. As soon as they received my money (3900$) – they simply stopped any efforts to do, what they promised – facilitate some (as contract says – “unlimited”) number of dates.

I sent multiple emails expressing my concerns. I always received polite answers – kind of “everything is actually great”. At some point I ran out of patience and requested a refund. Unfortunately, the only way for me to communicate with Mrs. Grossman is via emails, because their web site shows not working phone and address of their Washington DC office and the phone provided on their web site are not responding to any calls. Over emails Mrs. Grossman is always very cynically and politely answering the same thing – “I do not know what you are talking about, I am not aware of anything”.

And here are the reasons that I believe she is running the con operation:

- The contract has a header “Elite Matchmaking”, but the contract actually with 143 Connection, which does not respond to any communication.

The web site provides no information about headquarter, official company representative name and valid phone number

The company operates under multiple names and regularly changes offices - Elite Personal Search, Elite Matchmaking, Elite Match Making, Active Singles.

The office listed as Washington DC does not exist (the address has been changed) and phone does not answer

When I asked Roni Grossman about her company legal representative she replied with the company contact, but the company she referred me to answered that they do not represent neither her nor her company

There are multiple claims like mine even on your site, but all marked as resolved with “explanation” vs “requested money refund issued”, but even more on http://www.consumeraffairs.com/dating_services/elite.html

Roni Grossman cynically ignores any complaints and I found many grievances on Internet with very similar sentiments.

It also seems to me that the Elite used the hired man to play their game to make sure that the money are paid and then completely lost any interest in fulfilling their contractual obligations. Some other people seems to made similar observations

Before you spend between $15,000.00 and $200,000.00 on this service one should do there due diligence. Things just seemed a little off from the very beginning with Elite Matchmaking Miami.

The website had wrong information. My communications thru the web based system never was received by them. Almost all emails had some miscommunication. I called the local Miami number and got some cheap answering service. I asked to meet them at their office location on Brickell Ave but was discouraged from doing so.

They claim they have an office on prestigious Brickell Ave. 1395 Brickell Avenue

Suite 800 to be exact.

I went there. It's Allied office / Qwest work space. Google it. You get virtual office space from $119.00. What's even more disturbing is they are not even listed on the business directory in the building.

I went to the office building and have proof.

Ask to meet them at their office.

See what happens. They will want to meet you at a Starbucks or something.

I voiced my concerns before my meeting with them in a detailed email.

In the end they told me they didn't think we should meet. I don't blame them. I asked a lot of questions. I wanted to know that before I gave them $15,000.00 or more that attention to detail was going to be done. After all you are buying a service. You can't get a refund if you don't like what they end up doing.

Be Careful when doing this.

Also why are all the reviews so recent? This is a company that has been in business for over 20 years!!!

There were just to many red flags.

Ask to speak to satisfied clients from over the last 2 years or more. When you do , make sure it's both men and women.

Remember this is a very emotional area so be careful. Don't let your desire to find someone stop you from doing your homework on these companies before you give them any money. Remember you can't return it if you're not happy.

Oh and an update I just was offered to come see their corporate headquarters in Beverly Hills by an email to meet their staff.

Funny. I looked up the address given on their website for the corporate headquarters. Now you might find this hard to believe. It's another virtual office. 350 S Beverly Dr #220, Beverly Hills, CA 90212 Phone:(310) 551-6600

Pretty much did not do what they promised me. in the beginning they said they would be constantly showing me girls. it ended up being like once a week they would send me a picture of one girl. if I didn't like them then I would have to wait till the next week. when I did go out with one of them finally she told me she never even paid that Ronnie begged her to do it and she met her at a party she never signed up which is why she had about the worst attitudeI have ever seen on any girl I have tried to go out with. so most likely she was doing Ronnie a favor. wow what a waste of time and money that was another one wouldn't even go out with me because I told her I don't like to go party all weekend. either way it was just a total mess they never look anything like I wanted them to either. when I gave them a description of what I like if I tell them Blonde they send pic of brown. I like straight hair they send curly I even asked them several times why did I give you a description of the girls that I like if you keep sending whoever you can just find "that's not how we do things around here" well sure looks like it I said so you're giving off the vibe not that if you care anything because you're All ready got my money so 2300 dollars buys you a few months of them trying tofind you a date I think I would have better luck going up to Everywoman in Public or the mall and asking them out. My favorite one was the one who sold me out two times after she was the one who made the plans. you can so tell that these women did not pay a dollar to go out on a date so it's like I was pestering them because they probably Luer them in off dating sites or begged them to keep the guys happy so elite doesn't go out of business. I'm sure you read this you can see that I'm pretty pissed off it's been several months since I stopped doing it and it still bothers me to death that I paid $2300 for them to jerk me around. Do you self a favor save your money go by your mother flowers and tell her you love her and then take the difference and put it in the bank in the end you'll be much happier with yourself. If I only had the ability to rip them off for $2300 I don't care if I lost a finger doing it I would definitely try. I did plenty of girls I just thought that it would be something different and fun to do having somebody else do all the legwork for you and you reap all the benefits well there were zero benefits but headaches aggravation and again a loss of $2300. I ended up canceling before my six months was up they never even really asked why nor did they do anything to try to make it right so it's like they pretty much just got a free $2300 and yeah you know you did and you know your business is the biggest scam ever you could give three craps if you hook anybody up on a date. who I really feel bad for is the poor girl in the office who has to lie to everybody's face.
