Had an accident where a large portion of my right passenger fender was damaged. Elephant has refused to cover this since they said there was a previous accident on that side of the vehicle and that's no longer covered.
I sent in pictures to prove otherwise and they reviewed and still denied the claim. If I could give 0 stars I would but this is typical for an insurance firm to take your money and not want to take care of you after an accident. Will be filing complaints with the BBB as well as the NAIC and Virginia SCC.
I was with this insurance company for (5) years because I needed cheap insurance. I never had an accident. I put up with the stolen fees and money being taken out of my account without my permission because the insurance was dirt cheap. NOW I KNOW WHY. They have A PRACTICE OF DENYING CLAIMS. They DON'T PAY MOST CLAIMS. This insurance company should be shut down. After 4 year with this company and no claims I filed a claim ON OCT 26, 2017 because a driver hit me and I could not locate who they were insured with because I wrote the insurance company name down wrong. Well Elephant claimed they could not honor my claim because I told them I had 2 homes in different states. This is complete bull crap. I had to pay out of pocket for repairs , I am still fighting with this company to pay a claim. DO NOT USE THIS INSURANCE COMPANY! YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED !
SO i cancelled my policy and the still stole 440.00 out my account i spoke to one agent about this matter she transferred me to another agent by the name megan who would'nt provide her last name i told her wat happen she did'nt no what she was talkiing about so i ask are you a supervior the she said no. ok i thought i ask for a supervior the i was put on hold for 5 to 10 mins the a lady took the call i ask for her name she said cynthia and i ask cynthia what? she said she could'nt give me her last name i'm in customer service as well if someone call and ask for first and last name we provide the information as needed as being a legit company well ms cynthia stated to me she can refund me my money back but it would'nt be 440.00 is what they took out my account it would be half which is 220.00. then stated it would take 7 to 14 business days for refund but only took 1 min to take out my acoount. why 220.00 for yall mistake and not my full refund of 440.00. this elephant insurance company is a scam and fraud that's doing internet fraud getting your information and bank information to still your money when you cancell your policy with them. I'm reporting this company to BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU AND FILING A COMPLAINT FOR THEFT I NEED MY FULL REFUND
